1耶稣被捕（太26:47-56；可14:43-50；路22:47-53）
1These things having said, Jesus went forth with his disciples beyond the brook of Kedron, where was a garden, into which he entered, himself and his disciples,
2出卖耶稣的犹大也知道那地方，因为耶稣和门徒常常在那里聚集。
2and Judas also, who delivered him up, had known the place, because many times did Jesus assemble there with his disciples.
3那时，犹大带着一队兵，还有祭司长和法利赛人的差役，拿着灯笼、火把、武器，来到园子里。
3Judas, therefore, having taken the band and officers out of the chief priests and Pharisees, doth come thither with torches and lamps, and weapons;
4耶稣知道快要临到他身上的一切事，就出来对他们说：“你们找谁？”
4Jesus, therefore, knowing all things that are coming upon him, having gone forth, said to them, `Whom do ye seek?`
5他们回答：“拿撒勒人耶稣！”耶稣说：“我就是。”出卖耶稣的犹大和他们站在那里。
5they answered him, `Jesus the Nazarene;` Jesus saith to them, `I am [he];` — and Judas who delivered him up was standing with them; —
6耶稣一说“我就是”，他们就往后退，倒在地上。
6when, therefore, he said to them — `I am [he],` they went away backward, and fell to the ground.
7他再问他们：“你们找谁？”他们说：“拿撒勒人耶稣！”
7Again, therefore, he questioned them, `Whom do ye seek?` and they said, `Jesus the Nazarene;`
8耶稣回答：“我已经告诉你们，我就是了。如果你们来找我，就让这些人走吧。”
8Jesus answered, `I said to you that I am [he]; if, then, me ye seek, suffer these to go away;`
9这应验了耶稣说过的话：“你赐给我的人，我一个也没有失落。”
9that the word might be fulfilled that he said — `Those whom Thou hast given to me, I did not lose of them even one.`
10西门．彼得带着一把刀，就拔出来，向大祭司的仆人马勒古砍去，削掉他的右耳。
10Simon Peter, therefore, having a sword, drew it, and struck the chief priest`s servant, and cut off his right ear — and the name of the servant was Malchus —
11耶稣对彼得说：“把刀收入鞘里去！父给我的杯，我怎能不喝呢？”
11Jesus, therefore, said to Peter, `Put the sword into the sheath; the cup that the Father hath given to me, may I not drink it?`
12大祭司审问耶稣（太26:57）于是那一队兵和千夫长，以及犹太人的差役拿住耶稣，把他绑起来，
12The band, therefore, and the captain, and the officers of the Jews, took hold on Jesus, and bound him,
13先带到亚那面前。亚那是当年的大祭司该亚法的岳父。
13and they led him away to Annas first, for he was father-in-law of Caiaphas, who was chief priest of that year,
14该亚法就是从前向犹太人提议说“一个人代替人民死，这是有益的”那个人。
14and Caiaphas was he who gave counsel to the Jews, that it is good for one man to perish for the people.
15彼得首次不认主（太26:69-70；可14:66-68；路22:55-57）西门．彼得和另一个门徒跟着耶稣；那门徒是大祭司认识的。他跟耶稣一起进了大祭司的院子，
15And following Jesus was Simon Peter, and the other disciple, and that disciple was known to the chief priest, and he entered with Jesus to the hall of the chief priest,
16彼得却站在门外。大祭司所认识的那门徒出来，对看门的婢女说了一声，就带了彼得进去。
16and Peter was standing at the door without, therefore went forth the other disciple who was known to the chief priest, and he spake to the female keeping the door, and he brought in Peter.
17那看门的婢女对彼得说：“你不也是这个人的门徒吗？”他说：“我不是。”
17Then said the maid keeping the door to Peter, `Art thou also of the disciples of this man?` he saith, `I am not;`
18因为天气寒冷，仆人和差役就生了炭火，站着取暖；彼得也和他们站在一起取暖。
18and the servants and the officers were standing, having made a fire of coals, because it was cold, and they were warming themselves, and Peter was standing with them, and warming himself.
19公议会审问耶稣（太26:59-68；可14:55-65；路22:63-71)那时，大祭司查问耶稣有关他的门徒和他的教训的事。
19The chief priests, therefore, questioned Jesus concerning his disciples, and concerning his teaching;
20耶稣对大祭司说：“我向来对世人讲话都是公开的，我常常在会堂和圣殿里，就是在所有犹太人聚集的地方教导人，暗地里我并没有讲什么。
20Jesus answered him, `I spake freely to the world, I did always teach in a synagogue, and in the temple, where the Jews do always come together; and in secret I spake nothing;
21你为什么查问我呢？问问那些听过我讲话的人吧，他们知道我讲过什么。”
21why me dost thou question? question those having heard what I spake to them; lo, these have known what I said.`
22耶稣说了这些话，站在旁边的一个差役，就打他一巴掌，说：“你竟敢这样回答大祭司吗？”
22And he having said these things, one of the officers standing by did give Jesus a slap, saying, `Thus dost thou answer the chief priest?`
23耶稣对他说：“如果我讲错了，你可以指证错在哪里；如果我讲对了，你为什么打我呢？”
23Jesus answered him, `If I spake ill, testify concerning the ill; and if well, why me dost thou smite?`
24亚那仍然绑着耶稣，把他押到大祭司该亚法那里去。
24Annas then sent him bound to Caiaphas the chief priest.
25彼得再三不认主（太26:71-75；可14:69-72；路22:58-62）西门．彼得仍然站在火旁取暖。有人对他说：“你不也是他的门徒吗？”彼得否认说：“我不是。”
25And Simon Peter was standing and warming himself, they said then to him, `Art thou also of his disciples?` he denied, and said, `I am not.`
26有一个大祭司的仆人，就是彼得削掉耳朵的那个人的亲戚，说：“我不是看见你跟他在园子里吗？”
26One of the servants of the chief priest, being kinsman of him whose ear Peter cut off, saith, `Did not I see thee in the garden with him?`
27彼得又否认，立刻鸡就叫了。
27again, therefore, Peter denied, and immediately a cock crew.
28耶稣被押交彼拉多（太27:11-18；可15:2-5；路23:2-3）清早的时候，犹太人把耶稣从该亚法那里押往总督的官邸。他们自己没有进到官邸里去，恐怕沾染了污秽，不能吃逾越节的晚餐。
28They led, therefore, Jesus from Caiaphas to the praetorium, and it was early, and they themselves did not enter into the praetorium, that they might not be defiled, but that they might eat the passover;
29于是彼拉多走到外面见他们，说：“你们控告这个人什么呢？”
29Pilate, therefore, went forth unto them, and said, `What accusation do ye bring against this man?`
30他们回答：“如果这个人没有作恶，我们就不会把他交给你。”
30they answered and said to him, `If he were not an evil doer, we had not delivered him to thee.`
31彼拉多对他们说：“你们自己把他带去，按着你们的律法审问他吧。”犹太人说：“我们没有权去判人死罪。”
31Pilate, therefore, said to them, `Take ye him — ye — and according to your law judge him;` the Jews, therefore, said to him, `It is not lawful to us to put any one to death;`
32这就应验了耶稣预先说到自己将要怎样死的那句话。
32that the word of Jesus might be fulfilled which he said, signifying by what death he was about to die.
33彼拉多又进了官邸，把耶稣叫来，问他说：“你是犹太人的王吗？”
33Pilate, therefore, entered into the praetorium again, and called Jesus, and said to him, `Thou art the King of the Jews?`
34耶稣回答：“这话是你自己说的，还是别人对你说到我的呢？”
34Jesus answered him, `From thyself dost thou say this? or did others say it to thee about me?`
35彼拉多说：“难道我是犹太人吗？你本国的人和祭司长把你交给我，你究竟作了什么事？”
35Pilate answered, `Am I a Jew? thy nation, and the chief priests did deliver thee up to me; what didst thou?`
36耶稣回答：“我的国不属于这世界；如果我的国属于这世界，我的臣仆就要作战，使我不至被交给犹太人。不过，我的国不是这世上的。”
36Jesus answered, `My kingdom is not of this world; if my kingdom were of this world, my officers had struggled that I might not be delivered up to Jews; but now my kingdom is not from hence.`
37于是彼拉多问他：“那么，你是王吗？”耶稣说：“我是王，这是你说的。我要为真理作见证，我为此而生，也为此来到世上。凡是属于真理的人，都听我的声音。”
37Pilate, therefore, said to him, `Art thou then a king?` Jesus answered, `Thou dost say [it]; because a king I am, I for this have been born, and for this I have come to the world, that I may testify to the truth; every one who is of the truth, doth hear my voice.`
38彼拉多问他：“真理是什么？”彼拉多说了这话，又出来见犹太人，对他们说：“我查不出他有什么罪。
38Pilate saith to him, `What is truth?` and this having said, again he went forth unto the Jews, and saith to them, `I do find no fault in him;
39彼拉多判耶稣钉十字架（太27:20-23、27-31；可15:6-11、16-20；路23:4、13-19）“你们有个惯例，每逢逾越节，要我给你们释放一个囚犯。你们愿意我给你们释放这个犹太人的王吗？”
39and ye have a custom that I shall release to you one in the passover; will ye, therefore, [that] I shall release to you the king of the Jews?`
40他们又喊叫说：“不要他！要巴拉巴！”这巴拉巴是个强盗。
40therefore they all cried out again, saying, `Not this one — but Barabbas;` and Barabbas was a robber.
