1斥责崇拜偶像的罪
1Then came certain of the elders of Israel to me, and sat before me.
2耶和华的话就临到我说：
2The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
3“人子啊！这些人已经把他们的偶像接到心里去，把那陷他们在罪孽中的绊脚石放在自己面前，我怎能让他们向我求问呢？
3Son of man, these men have taken their idols into their heart, and put the stumbling block of their iniquity before their face: should I be inquired of at all by them?
4因此，你要告诉他们，对他们说：‘主耶和华这样说：以色列家的人中，凡把他的偶像接到心里去，把那陷自己在罪孽中的绊脚石放在自己面前，却又来见先知的，我耶和华必按他拜众多偶像的罪报应他，
4Therefore speak to them, and tell them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Every man of the house of Israel who takes his idols into his heart, and puts the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and comes to the prophet; I Yahweh will answer him therein according to the multitude of his idols;
5好夺回以色列家的心。他们众人因自己的偶像，与我疏远。’
5that I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all estranged from me through their idols.
6劝人民离弃偶像归向真神“因此，你要对以色列家说：‘主耶和华这样说：回转吧！转离你们的偶像！转脸离弃你们一切可憎之物吧！
6Therefore tell the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Return, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.
7因为以色列家的人中，或是在以色列寄居的外族人中，凡与我疏远，把他们的偶像接到心里去，把那陷自己在罪孽中的绊脚石放在自己面前，却又来见先知，要为自己求问我的，我耶和华必亲自报应他；
7For everyone of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who live in Israel, who separates himself from me, and takes his idols into his heart, and puts the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and comes to the prophet to inquire for himself of me; I Yahweh will answer him by myself:
8我必向那人变脸，使他成为别人的鉴戒和讥笑的对象；我要把他从我子民中剪除；你们就知道我是耶和华。
8and I will set my face against that man, and will make him an astonishment, for a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and you shall know that I am Yahweh.
9如果有先知被欺骗说一句话，是我耶和华任那先知受欺骗的；我必伸手攻击他，把他从我子民以色列中除灭。
9If the prophet is deceived and speak a word, I, Yahweh, have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand on him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.
10他们必担当自己的罪孽；求问的人的罪孽怎样，先知的罪孽也必怎样。
10They shall bear their iniquity: the iniquity of the prophet shall be even as the iniquity of him who seeks him;
11这样，以色列家必不再走迷路离开我，也不再因他们的一切过犯玷污自己；他们要作我的子民，我要作他们的 神。这是主耶和华的宣告。’”
11that the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither defile themselves any more with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, says the Lord Yahweh.
12义人得救恶人灭亡耶和华的话又临到我说：
12The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
13“人子啊！如果一国行了不忠的事得罪我，我就必伸手攻击那国，断绝那地的粮食，使饥荒临到那地，使人和牲畜都从那地剪除，
13Son of man, when a land sins against me by committing a trespass, and I stretch out my hand on it, and break the staff of its bread, and send famine on it, and cut off from it man and animal;
14即使有挪亚、但以理和约伯这三个人，他们也只能因自己的义救自己的性命。这是主耶和华的宣告。
14though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, says the Lord Yahweh.
15如果我使猛兽经过那地，蹂躏那地，使它荒凉，以致因为这些兽的缘故，没有人敢经过；
15If I cause evil animals to pass through the land, and they ravage it, and it be made desolate, so that no man may pass through because of the animals;
16即使有这三个人在其中，我指着我的永生起誓，他们只能救自己，连儿女也不能救，那地却仍然荒凉。这是主耶和华的宣告。
16though these three men were in it, as I live, says the Lord Yahweh, they should deliver neither sons nor daughters; they only should be delivered, but the land should be desolate.
17如果我使刀剑临到那地，说：‘愿刀剑经过那地，好让我把人和牲畜从那地剪除。’
17Or if I bring a sword on that land, and say, Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off from it man and animal;
18即使有这三个人在其中，我指着我的永生起誓，他们只能救自己，连儿女也不能救。
18though these three men were in it, as I live, says the Lord Yahweh, they should deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they only should be delivered themselves.
19如果我使瘟疫流行那地，借着流血的事把我的烈怒倾倒在那地上，使人和牲畜都从那地剪除；
19Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my wrath on it in blood, to cut off from it man and animal;
20即使当中有挪亚、但以理和约伯，我指着我的永生起誓，他们只能因自己的义救自己的性命，连儿女也不能救。这是主耶和华的宣告。”
20though Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, as I live, says the Lord Yahweh, they should deliver neither son nor daughter; they should but deliver their own souls by their righteousness.
21主耶和华这样说：“我打发刀剑、饥荒、猛兽和瘟疫这四样可怕的刑罚临到耶路撒冷，要把人和牲畜从那里剪除的时候，那情况岂不更严重吗？
21For thus says the Lord Yahweh: How much more when I send my four severe judgments on Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the evil animals, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and animal!
22其中将有剩下逃脱的人，连同儿女被带出来，他们来到你们那里，你们看见他们的所行所为，就会因我降给耶路撒冷的一切灾祸，得了安慰。
22Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be carried forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come forth to you, and you shall see their way and their doings; and you shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought on Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought on it.
23你们看见了他们的所行所为，就必得安慰，因为你们知道我在耶路撒冷所行的一切，并不是无缘无故的。这是耶和华的宣告。”
23They shall comfort you, when you see their way and their doings; and you shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, says the Lord Yahweh.
