¹Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me.

¹大衛的金詩，交給詩班長，調用“遠方無聲鴿”，是大衛在迦特被非利士人捉住時作的。　神啊！求你恩待我，因為人要踐踏我；他們終日攻擊我，迫害我。

²Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight against me, O thou most High.

²我的仇敵終日踐踏我，攻擊我的人很多。

³What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.

³至高者（“至高者”原文放在第2節末，在那裡或譯：“因逞驕傲攻擊我的人很多”）啊！我懼怕的時候，就要倚靠你。

⁴In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

⁴靠著　神，我要讚美他的話；我倚靠　神，就必不懼怕，人能把我怎麼樣呢？

⁵Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil.

⁵他們終日歪曲我的話，常常設計謀陷害我。

⁶They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps, when they wait for my soul.

⁶他們聚集在一起，埋伏著，窺探我的腳蹤，等候要害我的性命。

⁷Shall they escape by iniquity? in thine anger cast down the people, O God.

⁷願他們因罪孽的緣故不能逃脫；　神啊！願你在怒中使這些人敗落。

⁸Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?

⁸我多次流離，你都數算；你把我的眼淚裝在你的皮袋裡。這不都記在你的冊子上嗎？

⁹When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.

⁹我呼求你的時候，我的仇敵就都轉身退後；因此我知道　神是幫助我的。

¹⁰In God will I praise his word: in the LORD will I praise his word.

¹⁰靠著　神，我要讚美他的話；靠著耶和華，我要讚美他的話。

¹¹In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.

¹¹我倚靠　神，就必不懼怕，人能把我怎麼樣呢？

¹²Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render praises unto thee.

¹²　神啊！我要償還我向你所許的願，我要把感謝祭獻給你。

¹³For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?

¹³因為你救了我的性命脫離死亡；你不是救了我的腳不跌倒，使我在生命的光中，行在　神你的面前嗎？
