¹O LORD, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.

¹大衛的詩，交給詩班長，用“迦特”的樂器。耶和華我們的主啊！你的名在全地是多麼威嚴，你把你的榮美彰顯在天上。

²Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

²因你仇敵的緣故，你從小孩和嬰兒的口中，得著了讚美（“得著了讚美”或譯：“建立了能力”），使仇敵和報仇的無話可說。

³When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;

³我觀看你手所造的天，和你所安放的月亮和星星。

⁴What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

⁴啊！人算甚麼，你竟記念他？世人算甚麼，你竟眷顧他？

⁵For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

⁵你使他比天使（“天使”或譯：“　神”）低微一點，卻賜給他榮耀尊貴作冠冕。

⁶Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:

⁶你叫他管理你手所造的，把萬物都放在他的腳下，

⁷All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;

⁷就是所有的牛羊、田間的走獸、

⁸The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.

⁸空中的飛鳥、海裡的魚，和海裡游行的水族。

⁹O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

⁹耶和華我們的主啊！你的名在全地是多麼威嚴。
