¹Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.

¹歌一首，亞薩的詩。　神啊！求你不要靜默；　神啊！求你不要閉口，也不要一言不發。

²For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.

²看哪！你的仇敵喧嘩，恨你的人都抬起頭來。

³They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.

³他們密謀奸詐，陷害你的子民；他們彼此商議，攻擊你所寶貴的人。

⁴They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

⁴他們說：“來吧！我們來把他們除滅，使他們不再成國，使以色列的名不再被人記念。”

⁵For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:

⁵他們同心商議，彼此結盟，要和你對抗。

⁶The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;

⁶他們就是住帳棚的以東人和以實瑪利人，摩押人和夏甲人，

⁷Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;

⁷迦巴勒、亞捫、亞瑪力、非利士和推羅的居民。

⁸Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.

⁸亞述也和他們聯合起來，作了羅得子孫的幫手。（細拉）

⁹Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:

⁹求你待他們好像待米甸人，像在基順河待西西拉和耶賓一樣；

¹⁰Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.

¹⁰他們都在隱．多珥被消滅，成了地上的糞土。

¹¹Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:

¹¹求你使他們的貴族像俄立和西伊伯，使他們的王子像西巴和撒慕拿。

¹²Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.

¹²他們曾說：“我們要得著　神的牧場作自己的產業。”

¹³O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.

¹³我的　神啊！求你使他們像旋風捲起的草，像風前的碎秸。

¹⁴As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;

¹⁴火怎樣焚燒樹林，火燄怎樣燃燒群山，

¹⁵So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.

¹⁵求你也照樣用狂風追趕他們，藉暴風雨驚嚇他們。

¹⁶Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD.

¹⁶耶和華啊！求你使他們滿面羞愧，好使他們尋求你的名。

¹⁷Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:

¹⁷願他們永遠受辱驚惶，願他們抱愧滅亡。

¹⁸That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.

¹⁸使他們知道只有你的名是耶和華，唯有你是掌管全地的至高者。
