¹IT IS A GOOD THING TO GIVE THANKS UNTO THE LORD, AND TO SING PRAISES UNTO THY NAME, O MOST HIGH:

¹詩一首，安息日的歌。稱謝耶和華，歌頌你至高者的名；

²To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,

²早晨傳揚你的慈愛，夜間傳講你的信實；

³Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.

³彈奏十弦的樂器和瑟，又用琴彈出美妙的聲音，這是多麼美的事（“這是多麼美的事”原文是在第1節；第1至第3節是一個整體）。

⁴For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

⁴耶和華啊！你藉著你的作為使我歡喜，我要因你手的工作歡呼。

⁵O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.

⁵耶和華啊！你的工作多麼偉大，你的心思極為深奧。

⁶A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.

⁶無理性的人不曉得，愚昧的人不明白這事：

⁷When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:

⁷惡人雖好像草一樣繁茂，所有作孽的人雖然興旺，他們都要永遠滅亡。

⁸But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.

⁸但你耶和華永遠是至高的。

⁹For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

⁹耶和華啊！你的仇敵必滅亡，你的仇敵必定滅亡；所有作孽的都必被分散。

¹⁰But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

¹⁰你卻高舉了我的角，像野牛的角；你用新油膏抹我。

¹¹Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.

¹¹我親眼看見那些窺伺我的人遭報，我親耳聽見那些起來攻擊我的惡人受罰。

¹²The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

¹²義人必像棕樹一樣繁茂，像黎巴嫩的香柏樹一樣高聳。

¹³Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

¹³他們栽在耶和華的殿中，在我們　神的院子裡繁茂生長。

¹⁴They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

¹⁴他們年老的時候仍要結果子，經常保持茂盛青翠，

¹⁵To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

¹⁵好顯明耶和華是正直的；他是我的磐石，在他裡面沒有不義。
