¹And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

¹जब पिन्तेकुस्त क दिन आवा तउ उ पचे एक ठउर प बटुरा रहेन।

²And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

²तब्बइ हुवाँ एकाएक आकासे स खउफनाक आँधी क सब्द आवा। अउर जउन घरे मँ उ पचे बइठा रहेन, ओहमाँ समाइ गवा।

³And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

³अउर आगी क उठत लपट जइसी जीभ हुँवा समन्वा देखॉइ देइ लाग। अउर ओनका आगी क उठत लपट जइसी जिभिया देखॉइ लागिन। उ सबइ बँटी भइ जीभ एक क ऊपर आइ ठहरिन।

⁴And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

⁴उ पचे पवित्तर आतिमा स भावित भएन। अउर आतिमा स दीन्ह गए सामर्थ क अनुसार उ सबइ भाखन मँ बोलइ लागेन।

⁵And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

⁵हुवाँ यरूसलेम मँ अकास क तरे सबहिं देसन स आवा भएन यहूदी भगत रहत रहेन।

⁶Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

⁶जबहिं इ सब्द क आवाज सुनि गई तैसहिं एक भीड़ बटुर गइ। उ पचे अचरज मँ पड़ा रहेन काहेकि हर कउनो ओनका आपन भाखा मँ बोलत सुनेस।

⁷And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

⁷उ पचे अचम्भा मँ घबड़ियाइके बोलेन, “इ सबइ बोलवइया मनइयन गलीली नाहीं अहइँ।

⁸And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

⁸फिन हम पचन मँ स हर कउनो ओनका आपन मातृभाखा मँ बोलत भवा कइसे सनत अहइ?

⁹Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,

⁹हुवाँ पारथी, मोदी अउर एलामी, मोसोपोटामिया क बसइया, यहूदिया अउर कप्पूदूकिया, पुन्तुस अउर एसिया।

¹⁰Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,

¹⁰फ्रूगिया अउर पंफलिया, मिस्त्र अउर कूरेने सहर क निअरे लिबिया क कछू पहँटा क मनइयन, रोम स आवा भएन सैलानी,

¹¹Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

¹¹जेहमाँ जन्मा भवा यहूदी अउर यहूदी धरम क मनइयन, क्रेती अउर अरबी लोग हम सबइ परमेस्सर क अचरज कारजन क आपन आपन भाखा मँ सुनत अहइँ।”

¹²And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

¹²उ पचे सबइ अचम्भा मँ पड़िके भउचक्का होइके आपुस मँ पूछइ लागेन, “इ का होत अहइ?”

¹³Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

¹³मुला दूसर मनइयन प्रेरितन क मसखरी करत भए बोलेन, “इ सबइ कछू जिआदा दाखरस पिए बाटेन।”

¹⁴But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

¹⁴फिन गियारह प्रेरितन क संग पतरस खड़ा भवा अउर ऊँची अवाज मँ मनइयन क गोहराइ क कहइ लाग, “यहूदी भाइयो अउर यरुसलेम क सबहिं बासिंदा, ऍकर अरथ मोका बतावइ द्या। मोरे बचन क धियान स सुना।

¹⁵For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

¹⁵इ पचे पिए नाहीं अहइँ, जइसा की तू पचे बूझत अहा। काहेकि अबहिं तउ भिन्सारे क नौ बजा अहइ।

¹⁶But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

¹⁶Vमुला इ बात अहइ जेकरे बारे मँ योएल नबी कहे रहा:

¹⁷And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

¹⁷‘परमेस्सर कहत ह: आखिरी दिना मँ अइसा होइ कि मइँ सबहिं मनइयन प अपने आतिमा उड़ेल देब फिन तोहार पूत अउर बिटिया भविस्सबाणी करइ लगिहीं। अउर तोहार जवान मनई दर्सन पइहीं अउर तोहार बुढ़वा लोग सपना देखिहीं।

¹⁸And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

¹⁸हाँ उ दिना मइँ आपन नउकर अउर नउकरानी प आपन आतिमा उडेर देब अउर उ पचे भविस्सबाणी करिहीं।

¹⁹And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

¹⁹मइँ ऊपर अकासे मँ अचरज कारजन अउर तरखाले भुइयाँ प चीन्हा देखाउब, खून, आगी अउर धुआँ क बादर।

²⁰The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:

²⁰सूरज अँधियारा मँ अउर चाँद रकत मँ बदल जाइ, अउर जब पर्भू क दिव्य अउर महान दिन आइ।

²¹And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

²¹अउर तब हर उ कउनो क बचाव होइ जउन पर्भू क नाउँ पुकारी।’ योएल 2:28-32

²²Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

²²“ओ इस्राएलियो! इ बचन क सुना: नासरी ईसू एक ठू अइसा मनई रहा जेका परमेस्सर तोहरे समन्वा अद्भुत कारज, अचरज कारजन अउर अद्भुत चीन्हन क साथ जेका परमेस्सर आपन खुद किहे रहा तोहरे बीच ओका परगट किहेस। जइसा कि तू खुद जानत ह।

²³Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

²³ई मनई तोहका कउनो तय कीन्ह भइ जोजना अउर पहिले क गियान क अनुसार तोहरे हवाले कीन्ह गवा रहा अउर तू पचे ओका अधर्मियन क हाथे पकड़वाइके क्रूस प चढ़वाया अउर खीला ठोंकवाइके मरवाइ दिहा।

²⁴Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

²⁴मुला परमेस्सर मउत क दुःखे स अजाद कराइके फिन जिआइ दिहेस। काहेकि ओकरे बरे इ होइवाला नाहीं रहा कि मउत ओका राखि पावत।

²⁵For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

²⁵जइसा कि दाऊद ओकरे बारे मँ कहेस ह: ‘मइँ हमेसा पर्भू क आपन समन्वा देखेउँ ह। उ मोरे दाहिन कइँती बिराजत अहइ, काहेकि मइँ डुग न पावउँ।

²⁶Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

²⁶ऍहसे मोर हिरदय खुस अहइ अउर मोर बाणी आनन्द मँ बा; मोर देह भी आसा मँ जिई।

²⁷Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

²⁷तू मोर आतिमा क अधोलोक मँ न छोड़ब्या। तू आपन पवित्तर जन क नास क अनुभव न होइ देब्या।

²⁸Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.

²⁸तू ही मोरी जिन्नगी क राह क गियान कराइ दिहा ह। अउर तू ही आपन हाजिरी स मोका आनन्द स पूरा कइ देब्या।’ भजन संहिता 16:8-11

²⁹Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

²⁹“मोरे भाइयन, मइँ पतिआइके आदि मनई दाऊद क बारे मँ तू पचन्स कहि सकत हउँ कि ओकर मउत होइ गइ अउर ओका माटी दइ दीन्ह गइ। अउर ओकर कब्र हमरे हियाँ आजु तलक मौजूद बा।

³⁰Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

³⁰मूला काहेकि उ एक नबी रहा अउर जानत रहा परमेस्सर सपथ खाइके ओका बचन दिहेस ह कि उ ओकरे वंस मँ स कउनो एक क सिंहासने प बइठाई।

³¹He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

³¹यह बरे अगवा जउन होइ क बाटइ, ओका दाऊद लखत भए उ सब इ कहे रहा कि: ‘ओका अधोलोक मँ नाहीं छोरा गवा अउर न ही ओकरे देह स सड़ब गलब क अंजाद लगाएस।’ तउ उ मसीह क पुनरूत्थान क बारे मँ ही कहे रहा।

³²This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

³²इहइ ईसू क परमेस्सर पुनरूत्थान कइ दिहेस। इ सच्चाई क हम पचे साच्छी अही।

³³Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

³³परमेस्सर क दाहिन हाथे कइँती सबन ते उँचका ओहदा पाइके ईसू पिता स सपथ क अनुसार पवित्त्र आतिमा पाएस अउर फिन उ इ आतिमा क उड़ेरेस जेका अब तू लखत बाट्या अउर सुनत बाट्या।

³⁴For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

³⁴दाऊद सरगे मँ नाहीं गवा तउ उ खुद कहत ह: ‘पर्भू (परमेस्सर) मोर पर्भू स कहेस: मोरे दाहिने बइठा, जब ताई मइँ

³⁵Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

³⁵तोहरे बैरिन क तोहरे गोड़वा तरे गोड़ धरइ क चउकी न बनइ देइ।’ भजन संहिता 110:1

³⁶Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

³⁶“यह बरे इस्त्राएल क समूचइ मनइयन ठीक तरह स समुझ लेइ कि परमेस्सर इ ईसू क जेका तू पचे क्रूस प चढ़ाइ दिहे रहा, पर्भू अउर मसीह दुइनउँ ठहरावा ग रहेन!”

³⁷Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

³⁷मनइयन जब इ सुनेन तउ उ पचे घबराइ गएन अउर पतरस अउर दूसर प्रेरितन स कहेन, “तउ भाई, हम सबन क का करइ चाही?”

³⁸Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

³⁸पतरस ओनसे कहेस, “मनफिराओ अउर आपन पापे क छमा पावइ बरे तू पचन मँ स हर एक क ईसू मसीह क नाउँ स बपतिस्मा लेइ चाही। फिन तू पवित्तर आतिमा क उपहार मँ पउब्या।

³⁹For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.

³⁹काहेकि इ सपथ तोहरे बरे, तोहरे संतान बरे अउर ओन सब कामे बरे अहइ जउन बहोत दूर बाटेन। इ सपथ ओन सब बरे अहइ जेनका हमार पर्भू परमेस्सर आपन लगे बोलावत ह।”

⁴⁰And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

⁴⁰अउर बहोत स बचन स उ ओनका चिताउनी दिहेस अउर समझाय के ओनसे कहेस, “इ कुमार्गी पीढ़ी स आपन खुद क बचावा!”

⁴¹Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

⁴¹तउ जउन ओकरे संदेसा क अंगीकार किहेन, ओनका बपतिस्मा दीन्ह गवा। इ तरह उ दिना उ बिसवासियन क झुण्ड मँ कउनो तीनजहार मनई अउर जुड़ गएन।

⁴²And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

⁴²उ पचे प्रेरितन क उपदेस, संगत, रोटी क तोड़इ अउर पराथना करइ मँ जिअरा लगाइ दिहन।

⁴³And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

⁴³हर मनई प भय रहा अउर प्रेरितन क जरिये बहुत अचरज कारजन अउर अद्भुत चीन्हन परगट कीन्ह जात रहेन।

⁴⁴And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

⁴⁴सबहिं बिसवासी एक संग बटुरत रहेन अउर ओनके लगे जउन कछू रहा, उ पचे आपुस मँ बाँट लेत रहेन।

⁴⁵And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

⁴⁵उ पचे आपन सबहिं चीजन अउर धन-दौलत बेंचेन अउर ओन सब चिजन्क आपुस मँ बाँटि लिहन, जइसे जेका जरूरत रही।

⁴⁶And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

⁴⁶अउर उ पचे हर दिन मन्दिर मँ एक उदेस्स स मिलि जात रहेन। उ पचे घरे मँ रोटी तोड़ लेतेन अउर आनन्द अउर निर्मल मन स खात रहेन।

⁴⁷Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

⁴⁷उ पचे सब मनइयन क नीक बिचार क आनन्द लेत भए पर्भू क स्तुति गवात रहेन। अउर हर दिन परमेस्सर, जेनकइ उद्धार करत, ओनकइ दल मँ अउर जोरि दीन्ह जात।
