¹And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,

¹Ug mahitabo nga sa diha nga moabut kanimo kining tanan nga mga butang, ang panalangin ug ang panunglo nga gibutang ko sa atubangan mo, mahinumdum ka kanila sa taliwala sa tanan nga nasud diin giabog ikaw ni Jehova nga imong Dios,

²And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;

²Ug magabalik ka kang Jehova nga imong Dios, ug magatuman ka sa iyang tingog ingon sa tanan nga ginasugo ko kanimo niining adlawa, ikaw ug ang imong mga anak, sa bug-os mo nga kasingkasing, ug sa bug-os mo nga kalag;

³That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.

³Nga unya si Jehova nga imong Dios, magapabalik kanimo gikan sa imong pagkabihag, ug malooy kanimo, ug magausab siya sa pagtigum kanimo gikan sa tanan nga mga katawohan diin ikaw patlaaga ni Jehova nga imong Dios.

⁴If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:

⁴Kong may bisan kinsa sa imong mga sinalikway makadangat hangtud sa mga kinatumyan nga dapit sa langit, gikan didto pagatigumon ka ni Jehova nga imong Dios, ug gikan didto pagakuhaon ka niya:

⁵And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.

⁵Ug pagapabalikon ka ni Jehova nga imong Dios ngadto sa yuta nga gipanunod sa imong mga amahan, ug magapanag-iya ka niana; ug siya magabuhat ug maayo kanimo, ug magapadaghan kanimo labaw pa kay sa imong mga amahan.

⁶And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

⁶Ug pagacircuncidahon ni Jehova nga imong Dios ang imong kasingkasing, ug ang kasingkasing sa imong kaliwatan, aron sa paghigugma kang Jehova nga imong Dios sa bug-os mong kasingkasing, ug sa bug-os mo nga kalag, aron mabuhi ka.

⁷And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.

⁷Ug igabutang ni Jehova nga imong Dios kining tanan nga mga panunglo sa ibabaw sa imong mga kaaway, ug sa ibabaw sa tanan nga nagadumot kanimo, nga nanaglutos kanimo.

⁸And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day.

⁸Ug magabalik ka ug magasugot sa tingog ni Jehova, ug magabuhat sa tanan niyang mga sugo nga akong ginasugo kanimo niining adlawa.

⁹And the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:

⁹Ug si Jehova nga imong Dios magapadagaya sa tanan nga buhat sa imong mga kamot, sa bunga sa imong lawas, sa bunga sa imong kahayupan, ug sa bunga sa imong yuta, nga sa imong kaayohan: kay si Jehova magabalik sa pagkalipay kanimo nga sa kaayohan, sama sa iyang pagkalipay ibabaw sa imong mga amahan;

¹⁰If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

¹⁰Ug kong magapatalinghug ka sa tingog ni Jehova nga imong Dios, aron sa pagbantay sa iyang mga sugo, ug sa iyang kabalaoran nga nahasulat niini nga basahon sa Kasugoan; kong ikaw magabalik kang Jehova nga imong Dios, sa bug-os mong kasingkasing, ug sa bug-os mo nga kalag.

¹¹For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.

¹¹Kay kining sugoa, nga ginasugo ko kanimo niining adlawa, dili kini makuli kanimo, dili usab halayo:

¹²It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?

¹²Wala kini sa langit, aron magaingon ka: Kinsa ba ang mosaka alang kanato sa langit, ug magadala niini dinhi kanato, ug magapatalinghug kanato niini, aron nga atong pagatumanon kini?

¹³Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?

¹³Ug wala kini sa tabok sa dagat aron nga magaingon ka: Kinsa ba ang motabok alang kanato sa dagat, ug magadala niini dinhi kanato, ug magapapatalinghug niini kanato aron atong pagatumanon?

¹⁴But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

¹⁴Apan haduol gayud kanimo ang pulong, sa imong baba, ug sa imong kasingkasing, aron tumanon mo siya.

¹⁵See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;

¹⁵Tan-awa, gibutang ko karon sa atubangan mo ang kinabuhi ug ang kaayohan, ang kamatayon ug ang kadautan;

¹⁶In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

¹⁶Niana nagasugo ako kanimo niining adlawa nga higugmaon mo si Jehova nga imong Dios, nga magalakaw ka sa iyang mga dalan, ug magabantay sa iyang mga sugo, ug sa iyang kabalaoran, ug sa iyang mga tulomanon, aron mabuhi ka ug modaghan, ug nga si Jehova nga imong Dios magapanalangin kanimo sa yuta nga pagasudlan mo aron sa pagpanag-iya niini.

¹⁷But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;

¹⁷Apan kong ang imong kasingkasing mobulag, ug dili ka magapatalinghug, kondili mahisalaag, ug magasimba sa lain nga mga dios, ug magaalagad kanila;

¹⁸I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.

¹⁸Gipamatuod ko karon kanimo, nga sa pagkamatuod mangahanaw kamo: dili ninyo pagalugwayan ang inyong mga adlaw sa ibabaw sa yuta nga imong pagaadtoan tabok sa Jordan sa pagpanag-iya kaniya.

¹⁹I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

¹⁹Gisangpit ko ang langit ug yuta sa pagsaksi batok kaninyo niining adlawa, nga gibutang ko sa imong atubangan ang kinabuhi ug ang kamatayon, ang panalangin ug ang tunglo: busa pilia ang kinabuhi, aron mabuhi ikaw, ikaw ug ang imong kaliwatan;

²⁰That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

²⁰Sa paghigugma kang Jehova nga imong Dios; sa pagsugot sa iyang tingog, ug sa pagtaput kaniya; kay siya mao ang imong kinabuhi, ug ang gitas-on sa imong mga adlaw; aron nga magapuyo ka sa ibabaw sa yuta nga gipanumpa ni Jehova sa imong mga amahan, kang Abraham, kang Isaac ug kang Jacob aron ihatag kanila.
