¹Psalmi, sapattilaulu. (H92:2)Hyvä on kiittää Herraa, laulaa ylistystä sinun nimellesi, Korkein.

²To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,

²(H92:3)Hyvä on aamulla kertoa armostasi ja illalla uskollisuudestasi

³Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.

³(H92:4)harpun ja lyyran sävelin, kymmenen kielen helkkyessä.

⁴For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

⁴(H92:5)Herra, sinä ilahdutat minua teoillasi, minä riemuitsen sinun kättesi töistä.

⁵O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.

⁵(H92:6)Kuinka suuret ovatkaan sinun tekosi, Herra, kuinka syvät sinun ajatuksesi!

⁶A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.

⁶(H92:7)Tyhmä ei sitä käsitä, mieletön ei sitä ymmärrä.

⁷When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:

⁷(H92:8)Vaikka jumalattomat rehottavat kuin ruoho, vaikka väärintekijät nyt kukoistavat, he tuhoutuvat, katoavat ikiajoiksi.

⁸But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.

⁹For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

¹⁰But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

¹⁰(H92:11)Mutta minun voimani kohoaa kuin villihärän sarvi, sinä voitelet minut tuoreella öljyllä.

¹¹Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.

¹¹(H92:12)Minä saan nähdä vihollisteni kärsivän tappion, saan kuulla vastustajieni aikeiden luhistuvan.

¹²The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

¹²(H92:13)Hurskaat kukoistavat kuin palmupuu, kasvavat korkealle kuin Libanonin setrit.

¹³Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

¹³(H92:14)Heidät on istutettu Herran temppeliin, he kukoistavat Jumalamme esipihoilla.

¹⁴They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

¹⁴(H92:15)Vielä vanhoinakin he ovat voimissaan, versovat ja vihannoivat,

¹⁵To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

¹⁵(H92:16)kertovat Herran oikeamielisyydestä. Herra on minun turvakallioni, hän ei vääryyttä tee.
