³Glänzend und prächtig ist sein Tun, und seine Gerechtigkeit besteht ewiglich.

⁴He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.

⁴Er hat ein Gedächtnis seiner Wunder gestiftet; gnädig und barmherzig ist der HERR.

⁵He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

⁵Er hat Speise gegeben denen, die ihn fürchten, seines Bundes wird er ewiglich gedenken.

⁶He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.

⁶Er hat seinem Volk seine kraftvollen Taten kundgetan, da er ihnen das Erbe der Heiden gab.

⁷The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.

⁷Die Werke seiner Hände sind treu und gerecht, alle seine Verordnungen unwandelbar,

⁸They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.

⁸bestätigt für immer und ewig, ausgeführt in Treue und Redlichkeit.

⁹He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.

⁹Er hat seinem Volk Erlösung gesandt, auf ewig verordnet seinen Bund; heilig und furchtbar ist sein Name.

¹⁰The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

¹⁰Die Furcht des HERRN ist der Weisheit Anfang; sie macht alle klug, die sie üben. Sein Ruhm besteht ewiglich.
