1Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.
1[] <<Ωιδη των Αναβαθμων.>> Εκ βαθεων εκραξα προς σε, Κυριε.
2Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
2Κυριε, εισακουσον της φωνης μου· ας ηναι τα ωτα σου προσεκτικα εις την φωνην των δεησεων μου.
3If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
3Εαν, Κυριε, παρατηρησης ανομιας, Κυριε, τις θελει δυνηθη να σταθη;
4But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
4Παρα σοι ομως ειναι συγχωρησις, δια να σε φοβωνται.
5I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
5[] Προσεμεινα τον Κυριον, προσεμεινεν η ψυχη μου, και ηλπισα επι τον λογον αυτου.
6My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
6Η ψυχη μου προσμενει τον Κυριον, μαλλον παρα τους προσμενοντας την αυγην, ναι, τους προσμενοντας την αυγην.
7Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.
7Ας ελπιζη ο Ισραηλ επι τον Κυριον· διοτι παρα τω Κυριω ειναι ελεος, και λυτρωσις πολλη παρ' αυτω·
8And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
8και αυτος θελει λυτρωσει τον Ισραηλ απο πασων των ανομιων αυτου.
