¹Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

¹Dari Daud. Pujilah TUHAN, hai jiwaku, segenap batinku, pujilah nama-Nya yang kudus.

²Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

²Pujilah TUHAN, hai jiwaku, jangan lupakan segala kebaikan-Nya!

³Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

³Dia yang mengampuni semua dosamu, yang menyembuhkan segala penyakitmu,

⁴Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

⁴Dia yang membebaskan nyawamu dari kuburan, yang melimpahi engkau dengan kasih dan belas kasihan.

⁵Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

⁵Dia yang memuaskan hidupmu dengan yang baik, sehingga engkau awet muda seperti burung rajawali.

⁶The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

⁶TUHAN menjalankan hukum dan keadilan bagi semua orang yang tertindas.

⁷He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

⁷Ia menyatakan rencana-Nya kepada Musa dan perbuatan-perbuatan-Nya kepada bangsa Israel.

⁸The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

⁸Sebab TUHAN pengasih dan penyayang, Ia panjang sabar dan kasih-Nya berlimpah.

⁹He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.

⁹Ia tidak menghardik terus-menerus, dan tidak marah untuk selama-lamanya.

¹⁰He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

¹⁰Ia tidak menghukum kita setimpal dosa kita, atau membalas kita setimpal kesalahan kita.

¹¹For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

¹¹Tetapi setinggi langit di atas bumi, sebesar itu kasih-Nya bagi orang yang takwa.

¹²As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

¹²Sejauh timur dari barat, sejauh itu dibuang-Nya dosa-dosa kita.

¹³Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

¹³Seperti seorang bapak mengasihi anak-anaknya, begitulah TUHAN mengasihi orang yang takwa.

¹⁴For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

¹⁴Sebab TUHAN tahu kita terbuat dari apa, Ia ingat kita ini hanya debu.

¹⁵As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.

¹⁵Manusia hidupnya singkat seperti rumput; ia berkembang seperti bunga di ladang;

¹⁶For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.

¹⁶bila ditiup angin, lenyaplah ia, malah tempatnya tidak diketahui lagi.

¹⁷But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;

¹⁷Tetapi TUHAN tetap mengasihi orang takwa, kebaikan-Nya berlangsung turun-temurun

¹⁸To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

¹⁸bagi orang yang berpegang pada perjanjian-Nya, dan dengan setia melakukan perintah-Nya.

¹⁹The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.

¹⁹TUHAN memerintah di surga, Ia raja yang berkuasa atas segala-galanya.

²⁰Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

²⁰Pujilah TUHAN, hai malaikat-malaikat-Nya yang perkasa, yang mendengarkan dan melakukan perintah-Nya.

²¹Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

²¹Pujilah TUHAN, hai semua makhluk di surga, semua hamba-Nya yang melakukan kehendak-Nya.

²²Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.

²²Pujilah TUHAN, hai segala ciptaan di seluruh wilayah kekuasaan-Nya. Pujilah TUHAN, hai jiwaku!
