¹Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.

¹Bukan kami, ya TUHAN, bukan kami, tapi Engkau saja harus dipuji, sebab Engkau setia dan tetap mengasihi.

²Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?

²Mengapa bangsa-bangsa harus berkata, "Di mana Allah mereka?"

³But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.

³Allah kita ada di surga, Ia melakukan apa yang dikehendaki-Nya.

⁴Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

⁴Berhala mereka dari emas dan perak, buatan tangan manusia.

⁵They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:

⁵Mereka mempunyai mulut, tetapi tak dapat berbicara, mempunyai mata, tetapi tak dapat melihat.

⁶They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:

⁶Mereka mempunyai telinga, tetapi tak dapat mendengar, mempunyai hidung, tetapi tak dapat mencium.

⁷They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.

⁷Mereka mempunyai tangan, tetapi tak dapat meraba, mempunyai kaki, tetapi tak dapat berjalan, dan tak ada suara yang keluar dari kerongkongannya.

⁸They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.

⁸Semoga begitulah nasib orang-orang yang membuatnya, dan semua orang yang percaya kepadanya.

⁹O Israel, trust thou in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.

⁹Hai Israel, berharaplah kepada TUHAN, Dialah yang menolong dan melindungi kamu.

¹⁰O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.

¹⁰Hai para imam, berharaplah kepada TUHAN, Dialah yang menolong dan melindungi kamu.

¹¹Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.

¹¹Hai semua orang takwa, berharaplah kepada TUHAN, Dialah yang menolong dan melindungi kamu.

¹²The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.

¹²TUHAN ingat kepada kita dan akan memberkati kita, Ia akan memberkati umat Israel dan semua imam keturunan Harun.

¹³He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.

¹³Ia akan memberkati orang-orang yang takwa, baik kecil maupun besar.

¹⁴The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.

¹⁴Semoga TUHAN menganugerahkan banyak anak, kepada kamu dan keturunanmu.

¹⁵Ye are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.

¹⁵Semoga kamu diberkati TUHAN, pencipta langit dan bumi!

¹⁶The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD's: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

¹⁶Langit adalah milik TUHAN saja, tetapi bumi diberikan-Nya kepada manusia.

¹⁷The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.

¹⁷TUHAN tidak dipuji oleh orang mati, oleh orang yang sudah turun ke tempat yang sunyi.

¹⁸But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the LORD.

¹⁸Tetapi kita yang hidup bersyukur kepada-Nya, sekarang dan sampai selama-lamanya. Pujilah TUHAN!
