¹The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

¹主はわが主に言われる、「わたしがあなたのもろもろの敵をあなたの足台とするまで、わたしの右に座せよ」と。

²The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

³Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

³あなたの民は、あなたがその軍勢を聖なる山々に導く日に心から喜んでおのれをささげるであろう。あなたの若者は朝の胎から出る露のようにあなたに来るであろう。

⁴The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

⁴主は誓いを立てて、み心を変えられることはない、「あなたはメルキゼデクの位にしたがってとこしえに祭司である」。

⁵The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.

⁵主はあなたの右におられて、その怒りの日に王たちを打ち破られる。

⁶He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.

⁶主はもろもろの国のなかでさばきを行い、しかばねをもって満たし、広い地を治める首領たちを打ち破られる。彼は道のほとりの川からくんで飲み、それによって、そのこうべをあげるであろう。

⁷He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.
