¹Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

²The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

²主のみわざは偉大である。すべてそのみわざを喜ぶ者によって尋ね窮められる。

³His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

³そのみわざは栄光と威厳とに満ち、その義はとこしえに、うせることがない。

⁴He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.

⁴主はそのくすしきみわざを記念させられた。主は恵みふかく、あわれみに満ちていられる。

⁵He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

⁵主はおのれを恐れる者に食物を与え、その契約をとこしえに心にとめられる。

⁶He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.

⁶主はもろもろの国民の所領をその民に与えて、みわざの力をこれにあらわされた。

⁷The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.

⁷そのみ手のわざは真実かつ公正であり、すべてのさとしは確かである。

⁸They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.

⁸これらは世々かぎりなく堅く立ち、真実と正直とをもってなされた。

⁹He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.

⁹主はその民にあがないを施し、その契約をとこしえに立てられた。そのみ名は聖にして、おそれおおい。主を恐れることは知恵のはじめである。これを行う者はみな良き悟りを得る。主の誉は、とこしえに、うせることはない。
