¹O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

¹さあ、われらは主にむかって歌い、われらの救の岩にむかって喜ばしい声をあげよう。

²Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

²われらは感謝をもって、み前に行き、主にむかい、さんびの歌をもって、喜ばしい声をあげよう。

³For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

³主は大いなる神、すべての神にまさって大いなる王だからである。

⁴In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.

⁴地の深い所は主のみ手にあり、山々の頂もまた主のものである。

⁵The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

⁵海は主のもの、主はこれを造られた。またそのみ手はかわいた地を造られた。

⁶O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

⁶さあ、われらは拝み、ひれ伏し、われらの造り主、主のみ前にひざまずこう。

⁷For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

⁷主はわれらの神であり、われらはその牧の民、そのみ手の羊である。どうか、あなたがたは、きょう、そのみ声を聞くように。

⁸Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

⁸あなたがたは、メリバにいた時のように、また荒野のマッサにいた日のように、心をかたくなにしてはならない。

⁹When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.

⁹あの時、あなたがたの先祖たちはわたしのわざを見たにもかかわらず、わたしを試み、わたしをためした。

¹⁰Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:

¹¹Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.
