³And the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper;

⁴Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:

⁴Cui ac xqßuira li saklep rix, laj tij tixtakla xcßambal chak cuibak li tzentzeyul xcomoneb li incßaß muxbileb ru re tâcßanjelak re li ac xqßuira. Tâcßamekß ajcuiß chak jun tokolak li cheß chacalteß, jun li caki nokß, ut jun li pim hisopo xcßabaß.

⁵And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water:

⁵Laj tij tixtakla xcamsinquil jun reheb li tzentzeyul saß xbên jun li chßochß ucßal cuânk haß chi saß li isinbil saß junak yußam haß.

⁶As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water:

⁶Chirix aßan laj tij tixtzßa li tzentzeyul li yoßyo saß xquiqßuel li tzentzeyul li quicamsîc saß xbên li chßochß ucßal li cuan haß chi saß. Ut tixtzßa ajcuiß saß li quicß li cheß chacalteß ut li caki nokß ut li hisopo.

⁷And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field.

⁷Laj tij tixrach cuukub sut li quicß saß xbên li cristian li ac xqßuira. Ut laj tij tixye nak ac xqßuira li cristian ut târachßab li tzentzeyul li yoßyo.

⁸And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his tent seven days.

⁸Li ac xqßuira tixpuchß li rakß. Tixbes chixjunil li rismal ut tâatînk re nak incßaß chic muxbilak ru. Tâoc cuißchic saß li tenamit, aban incßaß tâoc chi ticto saß lix muhebâl. Cuukub cutan tâcuânk chirix lix muhebâl.

⁹But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.

¹⁰And on the eighth day he shall take two he lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish, and three tenth deals of fine flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.

¹¹And the priest that maketh him clean shall present the man that is to be made clean, and those things, before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:

¹²And the priest shall take one he lamb, and offer him for a trespass offering, and the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before the LORD:

¹²Tixchap jun li carner têlom laj tij ut tixchap li aceite. Tixtaksi chiru li Kâcuaß ut tixmayeja joß li mayej nequeßxqßue nak nequeßxkßet lix chakßrab li Kâcuaß.

¹³And he shall slay the lamb in the place where he shall kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the holy place: for as the sin offering is the priest's, so is the trespass offering: it is most holy:

¹³Tixcamsi li carner saß li santil naßajej li nacßatman cuiß li xul re li cßatbil mayej ut re xpatzßbal xcuybal li mâc. Tento nak tixbânu chi joßcan xban nak li mayej aßan, joß ajcuiß li mayej re xtojbal rix li mâc, aßan jun santil mayej chiru li Kâcuaß ut re laj tij.

¹⁴And the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:

¹⁴Laj tij tixchap caßchßinak lix quiqßuel li carner ut tixqßue saß lix xic li xqßuira li cuan saß xnim. Tixqßue ajcuiß saß li nimla rußuj rukß, li cuan saß xnim. Ut tixqßue ajcuiß saß li nimla rußuj rok li cuan saß xnim.

¹⁵And the priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand:

¹⁵Laj tij tixchap caßchßinak li aceite ut tixqßue saß lix tzße ukß.

¹⁶And the priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle of the oil with his finger seven times before the LORD:

¹⁶Chirix aßan tixtzßa saß li aceite li rußuj rukß li cuan saß xnim. Ut tixrachrachi li aceite cuukub sut chiru li Kâcuaß.

¹⁷And of the rest of the oil that is in his hand shall the priest put upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering:

¹⁷Tixchap caßchßinak li aceite li cuan saß rukß ut tixqßue saß lix xic li cuan saß xnim li jun li xqßuira. Ut tixqßue ajcuiß saß li rußuj rukß nim li cuan saß xnim, ut saß li rußuj rok nim li cuan saß xnim. Tixqßue bar quixqßue cuiß lix quiqßuel li carner li xqßueheß re xtojbal rix li mâc.

¹⁸And the remnant of the oil that is in the priest's hand he shall pour upon the head of him that is to be cleansed: and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD.

¹⁸Ut li joß qßuial chic li aceite li tâcanâk saß rukß laj tij tixqßue saß xjolom li cristian li ac xqßuira. Joßcaßin nak laj tij tixqßue li mayej re xtojbal rix lix mâc chiru li Kâcuaß.

¹⁹And the priest shall offer the sin offering, and make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed from his uncleanness; and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering:

¹⁹Ut laj tij tâmayejak re xtojbal rix lix mâc li jun li ac xqßuira. Chirix aßan tixcamsi li xul re li cßatbil mayej.

²⁰And the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the meat offering upon the altar: and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and he shall be clean.

²⁰Ut tixmayeja saß xbên li artal rochben li mayej cßaj. Chi joßcaßin tixtoj rix lix mâc ut moco muxbilak ta chic ru.

²¹And if he be poor, and cannot get so much; then he shall take one lamb for a trespass offering to be waved, to make an atonement for him, and one tenth deal of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering, and a log of oil;

²²And two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to get; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering.

²²Tixcßam cuib li mucuy. Abanan cui mâcßaß xtumin re xlokßbal aßan, naru tixcßam cuib li paloma toj sâj. Jun tâcßanjelak re xpatzßbal xcuybal lix mâc ut li jun chic tâcßanjelak re lix cßatbil mayej.

²³And he shall bring them on the eighth day for his cleansing unto the priest, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, before the LORD.

²⁴And the priest shall take the lamb of the trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD:

²⁴Laj tij tixchap li carner li toj sâj li tâmayejâk re xtojbal rix lix mâc li cristian li ac xqßuira ut tixchap ajcuiß li aceite ut tixtaksiheb saß rukß chiru li Kâcuaß.

²⁵And he shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering, and the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:

²⁵Tixcamsi li carner li tâmayejâk re xtojbal rix li mâc. Tixqßue caßchßinak lix quiqßuel saß lix xic li jun li ac xqßuira, li cuan saß xnim. Tixqßue ajcuiß saß li rußuj rukß nim ut saß li rußuj rok nim li cuan saß xnim.

²⁶And the priest shall pour of the oil into the palm of his own left hand:

²⁶Ut laj tij tixqßue caßchßinak li aceite saß lix tzße ukß.

²⁷And the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before the LORD:

²⁷Ut riqßuin li rußuj rukß li cuan saß xnim tixrachrachi li aceite chiru li Kâcuaß cuukub sut.

²⁸And the priest shall put of the oil that is in his hand upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the place of the blood of the trespass offering:

²⁸Tixqßue li aceite saß lix xic li cuan saß xnim ut tixqßue ajcuiß saß li rußuj rukß nim li cuan saß xnim ut saß li rußuj rok nim li cuan saß xnim. Tixbânu riqßuin li aceite joß quixbânu riqßuin li quicß re xtojbal rix lix mâc li jun li ac xqßuira.

²⁹And the rest of the oil that is in the priest's hand he shall put upon the head of him that is to be cleansed, to make an atonement for him before the LORD.

²⁹Ut li joß qßuial chic li aceite li tâcanâk saß rukß, laj tij tixqßue saß xjolom li jun li ac xqßuira re xtojbal rix lix mâc chiru li Kâcuaß.

³⁰And he shall offer the one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, such as he can get;

³⁰Chirix aßan laj tij tixmayeja jun reheb li cuib chi mucuy malaj ut jun reheb li cuib chi paloma, aß yal bar cuan li jun li tixcuy xqßuebal li jun li ac xqßuira.

³¹Even such as he is able to get, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, with the meat offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed before the LORD.

³¹Jun tixmayeja re xtzßâmanquil xcuybal lix mâc ut li jun chic tixmayeja re li cßatbil mayej rochben lix mayej cßaj. Chi joßcan tixbânu laj tij re xtojbal rix lix mâc li xqßuira.

³²This is the law of him in whom is the plague of leprosy, whose hand is not able to get that which pertaineth to his cleansing.

³²Aßan aßin li chakßrab li tinqßue reheb li nebaß li nequeßxyajeni li yajel saklep ut incßaß nequeßxcuy xtzßak li jun chßol chic li mayej re nak tâqßuirâk.

³³And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

³³Li Kâcuaß quiâtinac riqßuineb laj Moisés ut laj Aarón ut quixye reheb:

³⁴When ye be come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put the plague of leprosy in a house of the land of your possession;

³⁴—Nak lâex tex-oc saß li naßajej Canaán li tinqßue êre ut cui lâin tintakla li moß saß junak li cab,

³⁵And he that owneth the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, It seemeth to me there is as it were a plague in the house:

³⁵tento nak laj êchal re li cab tâxic chixyebal re laj tij chi joßcaßin: “Chanchan nak cuan moß saß li cuochoch,” chaßak.

³⁶Then the priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest go into it to see the plague, that all that is in the house be not made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to see the house:

³⁶Laj tij tixtakla risinquil chixjunil li cßaßru cuan saß li cab nak toj mâjiß na-oc chirilbal. Tento risinquil chixjunil re nak incßaß tixbon rib li cßaßak re ru. Ut nak ac xeßrisi li cßaß re ru, laj tij tâoc chirilbal ma cuan moß saß li cab aßan.

³⁷And he shall look on the plague, and, behold, if the plague be in the walls of the house with hollow streaks, greenish or reddish, which in sight are lower than the wall;

³⁷Nak yôk chirilbal li cab laj tij, cui târil nak cuan li caki moß malaj ut li raxi moß chiru li tzßac, ut tixqßue retal nak cham ac xcô,

³⁸Then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days:

³⁸laj tij tâêlk saß li cab ut tixtzßap li cab aßan chiru cuukub cutan.

³⁹And the priest shall come again the seventh day, and shall look: and, behold, if the plague be spread in the walls of the house;

³⁹Saß xcuuk li cutan laj tij tâxic cuißchic chirilbal li cab. Cui yôk chi nimânc li moß chiru li tzßac,

⁴⁰Then the priest shall command that they take away the stones in which the plague is, and they shall cast them into an unclean place without the city:

⁴⁰laj tij tixtakla xbecbal li tzßac li cuan moß chiru. Ut tixtakla xtzßekbal toj chirix li naßajej li cuanqueb cuiß lix muhebâleb saß jun li naßajej li natzßekeß cuiß li cßaßak re ru muxbil ru.

⁴¹And he shall cause the house to be scraped within round about, and they shall pour out the dust that they scrape off without the city into an unclean place:

⁴¹Tento xjotzbal ru li tzßac chi saß li cab ut tento teßxtzßek lix cßaj li tzßac saß li naßajej chirix li tenamit li natzßekman cuiß li muxbil ru.

⁴²And they shall take other stones, and put them in the place of those stones; and he shall take other mortar, and shall plaster the house.

⁴³And if the plague come again, and break out in the house, after that he hath taken away the stones, and after he hath scraped the house, and after it is plastered;

⁴⁴Then the priest shall come and look, and, behold, if the plague be spread in the house, it is a fretting leprosy in the house; it is unclean.

⁴⁵And he shall break down the house, the stones of it, and the timber thereof, and all the mortar of the house; and he shall carry them forth out of the city into an unclean place.

⁴⁵Tixtakla xjucßbal li cab. Ut li pec, li cheß ut chixjunil li tzßac teßcßamekß chirix li naßajej li cuanqueb cuiß lix muhebâleb saß li naßajej li natzßekman cuiß li cßaßak re ru muxbil ru.

⁴⁶Moreover he that goeth into the house all the while that it is shut up shall be unclean until the even.

⁴⁶Yalak ani tâoc saß li cab nak tzßaptzßôk, aßan muxbilak chic ru toj tâoc li kßojyîn.

⁴⁷And he that lieth in the house shall wash his clothes; and he that eateth in the house shall wash his clothes.

⁴⁷Ut li ani tâcuârk saß li cab aßan, tento tixpuchß li rakß. Joßcan ajcuiß li ani tâcuaßak saß li cab aßan, tixpuchß li rakß.

⁴⁸And if the priest shall come in, and look upon it, and, behold, the plague hath not spread in the house, after the house was plastered: then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.

⁴⁸Ut cui laj tij tâoc saß li cab chirilbal ut naxqßue retal nak mâcßaß chic li moß nak ac xqßueheß cuißchic li sêb chiru li tzßac, tixye nak moco muxbil ta ru xban nak mâcßaß chic li moß.

⁴⁹And he shall take to cleanse the house two birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:

⁴⁹Laj tij tixtakla xcßambal chak cuibak li tzentzeyul. Ut tâcßamekß ajcuiß chak jun tokolak li cheß chacalteß, jun li caki nokß, ut jun li pim hisopo.

⁵⁰And he shall kill the one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water:

⁵¹And he shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times:

⁵¹Chirix aßan tixtzßa li tzentzeyul li yoßyo saß xquiqßuel li tzentzeyul camenak li junajinbil riqßuin li haß. Ut tixtzßa ajcuiß li tokol li cheß chacalteß, li hisopo, ut li caki nokß. Ut tixrachrachi li quicß chiru li cab cuukub sut.

⁵²And he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet:

⁵²Joßcaßin nak tixsantobresi li cab riqßuin lix quiqßuel li tzentzeyul li quixcamsi, ut riqßuin li haß, ut li tzentzeyul li yoßyo, ut li jun tokol li cheß chacalteß, ut li hisopo, joß ajcuiß li caki nokß.

⁵³But he shall let go the living bird out of the city into the open fields, and make an atonement for the house: and it shall be clean.

⁵³Ut chirix aßan târachßab li tzentzeyul li yoßyo toj chirix lix naßaj lix muhebâleb. Aßin tixbânu re xsantobresinquil li cab ut incßaß chic muxbil ru.

⁵⁴This is the law for all manner of plague of leprosy, and scall,

⁵⁴Aßan aßin li chakßrab chirix li yajel saklep ut li moß,

⁵⁵And for the leprosy of a garment, and of a house,

⁵⁵joß li moß li nanak chiru li rakßeb malaj ut saß eb li rochocheb,

⁵⁶And for a rising, and for a scab, and for a bright spot:

⁵⁶ut chirix li xox li nasipoß ut chirix li xox li teto ru, ut chirix li yajel li nasakoß lix tibel xban.Yôquin chixqßuebal êre li chakßrab aßin re nak têqßue retal bar cuan li muxbil ru ut bar cuan li incßaß. Toj arin xcuulac lê chakßrabinquil li xinqßue chirixeb li cßaßak re ru aßin.

⁵⁷To teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean: this is the law of leprosy.

⁵⁷Yôquin chixqßuebal êre li chakßrab aßin re nak têqßue retal bar cuan li muxbil ru ut bar cuan li incßaß. Toj arin xcuulac lê chakßrabinquil li xinqßue chirixeb li cßaßak re ru aßin.
