1Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
1អ្នកណាជឿថាព្រះយេស៊ូពិតជាព្រះគ្រិស្ដ អ្នកនោះកើតមកពីព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ហើយអ្នកណាស្រឡាញ់ព្រះបិតា អ្នកនោះក៏ស្រឡាញ់អ្នកដែលកើតមកពីព្រះអង្គដែរ។
2By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
2ដោយយើងស្រឡាញ់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ និង ប្រតិបត្ដិតាមបទបញ្ជាទាំងប៉ុន្មាន យើងនឹងដឹងថា យើងពិតជាស្រឡាញ់បុត្ររបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់។
3For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
3យើងមានសេចក្ដីស្រឡាញ់របស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ក្នុងខ្លួនមែន លុះត្រាតែយើងកាន់តាមបទបញ្ជាទាំងប៉ុន្មាន។ បទបញ្ជារបស់ព្រះអង្គមិនតឹងតែងទេ
4For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
4ព្រោះអស់អ្នកដែលកើតមកពីព្រះជាម្ចាស់សុទ្ធតែឈ្នះលោកីយ៍នេះគឺជំនឿរបស់យើងហ្នឹងហើយ ដែលបានឈ្នះលោកីយ៍។
5Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
5តើអ្នកណាអាចឈ្នះលោកីយ៍បាន? គឺអ្នកដែលជឿថា ព្រះយេស៊ូពិតជាព្រះបុត្រារបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់។
6This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
6ព្រះយេស៊ូគ្រិស្ដនេះហើយ ដែលបានយាងមកក្នុងលោកនេះ ដោយទឹក និង លោហិត មិនត្រឹមតែដោយទឹកប៉ុណ្ណោះទេ គឺដោយទឹក និង លោហិតផង។ ព្រះវិញ្ញាណបានផ្ដល់សក្ខីភាពថា សេចក្ដីនេះពិតជាត្រឹមត្រូវមែន ដ្បិតព្រះវិញ្ញាណជាសេចក្ដីពិត។
7For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
7មានបន្ទាល់បីគឺ
8And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
8ព្រះវិញ្ញាណទឹក និង លោហិត ហើយបន្ទាល់ទាំងបីនេះ រួមគ្នាផ្ដល់សក្ខីភាពតែមួយ។
9If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
9ព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានផ្ដល់សក្ខីភាពអំពីព្រះបុត្រារបស់ព្រះអង្គ។ យើងតែងតែទទួលស្គាល់សក្ខីភាពរបស់មនុស្ស រីឯសក្ខីភាពរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់រឹងរឹតតែធំជាងនោះទៅទៀត។
10He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
10អ្នកណាជឿលើព្រះបុត្រារបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ អ្នកនោះមានសក្ខីភាពរបស់ព្រះអង្គនៅក្នុងខ្លួន អ្នកណាមិនជឿព្រះជាម្ចាស់ទេ អ្នកនោះចាត់ទុកថា ព្រះអង្គកុហកទៅវិញ ព្រោះគេមិនជឿលើសក្ខីភាពដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានប្រទានមក ស្ដីអំពីព្រះបុត្រារបស់ព្រះអង្គ។
11And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
11រីឯសក្ខីភាពនោះមានដូចតទៅនេះ គឺព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានប្រទានជីវិតអស់កល្បជានិច្ចមកយើង ហើយជីវិតនេះស្ថិតនៅក្នុងព្រះបុត្រារបស់ព្រះអង្គ។
12He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
12អ្នកណាមានព្រះបុត្រា អ្នកនោះក៏មានជីវិតដែរ ហើយអ្នកណាគ្មានព្រះបុត្រារបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ទេ អ្នកនោះគ្មានជីវិតនេះឡើយ។
13These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
13ខ្ញុំសរសេរសេចក្ដីនេះមកអ្នករាល់គ្នា ដើម្បីអោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងថា អ្នករាល់គ្នាដែលជឿលើព្រះនាមព្រះបុត្រារបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ មានជីវិតអស់កល្បជានិច្ចហើយ។
14And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
14ហេតុនេះហើយបានជាយើងមានចិត្ដរឹងប៉ឹងនៅចំពោះព្រះភ័ក្ដ្រព្រះអង្គ គឺថា ប្រសិនបើយើងទូលសូមអ្វី ស្របតាមព្រះហឫទ័យរបស់ព្រះអង្គ នោះទ្រង់នឹងព្រះសណ្ដាប់យើងជាមិនខាន។
15And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
15បើយើងដឹងថា ព្រះអង្គទ្រង់ព្រះសណ្ដាប់យើង ទោះបីយើងទូលសូមអ្វីពីព្រះអង្គក៏ដោយ យើងដឹងថា យើងបានទទួលអ្វីៗដែលយើងទូលសូមនោះរួចហើយ។
16If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
16ប្រសិនបើអ្នកណាម្នាក់ ឃើញបងប្អូនប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើបាបដែលមិនបណ្ដាលអោយស្លាប់ ត្រូវតែទូលអង្វរព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ហើយព្រះអង្គនឹងប្រទានជីវិតអោយបងប្អូននោះ។ ខ្ញុំនិយាយតែពីអំពើបាបដែលមិនបណ្ដាលអោយស្លាប់ប៉ុណ្ណោះ។ មានអំពើបាបម៉្យាងដែលបណ្ដាលអោយស្លាប់ ចំពោះអំពើបាបនោះ ខ្ញុំមិនសុំអោយទូលអង្វរទេ។
17All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
17អំពើទុច្ចរិតទាំងប៉ុន្មាន សុទ្ធតែជាអំពើបាបទាំងអស់ប៉ុន្ដែ មានអំពើបាបខ្លះមិនបណ្ដាលអោយស្លាប់ឡើយ។
18We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
18យើងដឹងហើយថា អ្នកកើតមកពីព្រះជាម្ចាស់ មិនប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើបាបឡើយ ដ្បិតព្រះបុត្រាដែលកើតពីព្រះជាម្ចាស់មក ទ្រង់ការពារអ្នកនោះ ហើយមារ កំណាចពុំអាចយាយីគេបានឡើយ។
19And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
19យើងដឹងថា យើងកើតមកពីព្រះជាម្ចាស់ រីឯមនុស្សលោកទាំងមូលស្ថិតនៅក្រោមអំណាចរបស់មារកំណាច។
20And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
20យើងក៏ដឹងដែរថា ព្រះបុត្រារបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានយាងមក ទ្រង់ប្រទានប្រាជ្ញាអោយយើងស្គាល់ព្រះដ៏ពិតប្រាកដ ហើយយើងក៏ស្ថិតនៅក្នុងព្រះដ៏ពិតប្រាកដ ដោយរួមក្នុងអង្គព្រះយេស៊ូគ្រិស្ដ ជាព្រះបុត្រារបស់ព្រះអង្គ គឺព្រះអង្គហើយ ដែលជាព្រះជាម្ចាស់ដ៏ពិតប្រាកដ ព្រះអង្គជាជីវិតអស់កល្បជានិច្ច។
21Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
21កូនចៅអើយ ចូរចៀសអោយផុតពីការគោរពព្រះក្លែងក្លាយ។
