¹Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.

¹បងប្អូនអើយ បងប្អូនបានរៀនពីយើងអំពីរបៀបរស់នៅ ដែលគាប់ព្រះហឫទ័យព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ហើយបានប្រព្រឹត្ដតាមទៀតផង។ ដូច្នេះ នៅទីបំផុតយើងសូមអង្វរ និង សូមដាស់តឿនបងប្អូន ក្នុងព្រះនាមព្រះអម្ចាស់យេស៊ូថា សូមអោយបងប្អូនបានប្រសើរលើសនេះទៅទៀត!

²For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.

²បងប្អូនជ្រាបស្រាប់ហើយថា យើងបានទូន្មានបងប្អូនក្នុងព្រះនាមព្រះអម្ចាស់យេស៊ូយ៉ាងណា។

³For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:

³ព្រះហឫទ័យរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ គឺអោយបងប្អូនបានវិសុទ្ធ អោយបងប្អូនចៀសវាងអំពើប្រាសចាកសីលធម៌។

⁴That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;

⁴ម្នាក់ៗត្រូវចេះរួមរស់ជាមួយភរិយារបស់ខ្លួន ដោយវិសុទ្ធ និង ថ្លៃថ្នូរ

⁵Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:

⁵ឥតបណ្ដោយខ្លួនទៅតាមចំណង់តណ្ហា ដូចសាសន៍ដទៃដែលមិនស្គាល់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់នោះឡើយ។

⁶That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.

⁶មិនត្រូវអោយបងប្អូនណាម្នាក់ប្រព្រឹត្ដអ្វីខុសចំពោះបងប្អូនឯទៀតៗ ឬ រំលោភលើសិទ្ធិគេក្នុងរឿងនេះឡើយ ដ្បិតព្រះអម្ចាស់នឹងដាក់ទោសអ្នកប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើទាំងនេះ ដូចយើងបាននិយាយ និង បញ្ជាក់រួចស្រេចហើយ។

⁷For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

⁷ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ត្រាស់ហៅយើងមក មិនមែនអោយរស់នៅក្នុងអំពើថោកទាបនោះឡើយ គឺអោយយើងបានវិសុទ្ធវិញ។

⁸He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.

⁸ដូច្នេះ អ្នកណាបដិសេធមិនទទួលដំបូន្មាននេះ មិនត្រឹមតែបដិសេធមិនទទួលមនុស្សប៉ុណ្ណោះទេ គឺបដិសេធមិនទទួលព្រះជាម្ចាស់ដែលបានប្រទានព្រះវិញ្ញាណដ៏វិសុទ្ធរបស់ព្រះអង្គមកបងប្អូននោះតែម្ដង។

⁹But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

⁹រីឯការស្រឡាញ់គ្នាជាបងប្អូនវិញ យើងមិនចាំបាច់សរសេរមកទូន្មានបងប្អូនទេ ដ្បិតបងប្អូនបានរៀនពីព្រះជាម្ចាស់អោយចេះស្រឡាញ់គ្នាទៅវិញទៅមក

¹⁰And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more;

¹⁰ដូចបងប្អូនបានស្រឡាញ់បងប្អូនទាំងអស់នៅស្រុកម៉ាសេដូនទាំងមូលស្រាប់ហើយ។ ក៏ប៉ុន្ដែ បងប្អូនអើយ យើងសូមដាស់តឿនបងប្អូនថា សូមស្រឡាញ់អោយបានប្រសើរលើសនេះទៅទៀត!។

¹¹And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;

¹¹ចូរយកចិត្ដទុកដាក់រស់នៅអោយបានស្រគត់ស្រគំ គិតតែពីកិច្ចការខ្លួនឯង និង ធ្វើការដោយកម្លាំងខ្លួនឯងផ្ទាល់ ដូចយើងបានផ្ដាំផ្ញើបងប្អូនរួចស្រេចហើយ។

¹²That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.

¹²ធ្វើដូច្នេះ អ្នកដែលមិនមែនជាគ្រិស្ដបរិស័ទនឹងគោរពបងប្អូន ហើយបងប្អូនក៏លែងត្រូវការអោយគេជួយទៀតផង។

¹³But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

¹³បងប្អូនអើយ យើងចង់អោយបងប្អូនជ្រាបយ៉ាងច្បាស់ អំពីអស់អ្នកដែលបានស្លាប់ ផុតទៅហើយ ដើម្បីកុំអោយបងប្អូនព្រួយចិត្ដ ដូចអ្នកឯទៀតៗ ដែលគ្មានសេចក្ដីសង្ឃឹមនោះឡើយ។

¹⁴For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

¹⁴ប្រសិនបើយើងជឿថា ព្រះយេស៊ូពិតជាបានសោយទិវង្គត ហើយមានព្រះជន្មរស់ឡើងវិញមែន យើងក៏ជឿថា ព្រះជាម្ចាស់នឹងនាំបងប្អូនដែលបានស្លាប់ទៅហើយ អោយទៅនៅជាមួយព្រះអង្គដោយសារព្រះយេស៊ូដែរ។

¹⁵For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

¹⁵យើងសូមបញ្ជាក់ប្រាប់បងប្អូន តាមព្រះបន្ទូលរបស់ព្រះអម្ចាស់ថា យើងដែលមានជីវិតរស់នៅឡើយ នៅពេលព្រះអម្ចាស់យាងមក យើងមិនទៅមុនអ្នកដែលបានស្លាប់នោះទេ

¹⁶For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

¹⁶ដ្បិតនៅពេលមានឮស្នូរជាសញ្ញាលាន់ឡើង ហើយនៅពេលឮសំឡេងមហាទេវតា និង សំឡេងត្រែរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ព្រះអម្ចាស់ផ្ទាល់ទ្រង់នឹងយាងចុះពីស្ថានបរមសុខមក។ អស់អ្នកជឿលើព្រះគ្រិស្ដដែលបានស្លាប់ទៅនោះ នឹងរស់ឡើងវិញជាមុន

¹⁷Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

¹⁷បន្ទាប់មក ទើបព្រះអម្ចាស់លើកយើងដែលនៅរស់នៅឡើយ អោយឡើងទៅក្នុងពពក ជាមួយបងប្អូនទាំងនោះ ដើម្បីជួបនឹងព្រះអង្គក្នុងអាកាសវេហាស៍ ហើយយើងនឹងស្ថិតនៅជាមួយព្រះអម្ចាស់រហូតតទៅ។

¹⁸Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

¹⁸ដូច្នេះ សូមបងប្អូនយកពាក្យទាំងនេះមកសំរាលទុក្ខគ្នាទៅវិញទៅមក។
