1But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
1ចំពោះពេលវេលា និង ពេលកំណត់នោះយើងមិនបាច់សរសេរមកប្រាប់បងប្អូនទេ
2For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
2ដ្បិតបងប្អូនផ្ទាល់ជ្រាបច្បាស់ហើយថា ថ្ងៃដែលព្រះអម្ចាស់យាងមក ប្រៀបបីដូចជាចោរចូលលួចនៅពេលយប់។
3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
3ពេលណាមនុស្សម្នាពោលថា "មានសន្ដិភាពហើយ! មានសន្ដិសុខហើយ!" ពេលនោះមហន្ដរាយនឹងកើតមានដល់គេមួយរំពេចពុំអាចគេចផុតបានឡើយ គឺប្រៀបបីដូចជាស្ដ្រីឈឺ ផ្ទៃមុនសំរាលកូនដែរ។
4But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
4រីឯបងប្អូនវិញ បងប្អូនអើយបងប្អូនមិនមែនស្ថិតនៅក្នុងសេចក្ដីងងឹត បណ្ដោយអោយថ្ងៃនោះមកដល់ដោយមិនដឹងខ្លួនដូចជាពេលចោរចូលលួចនោះឡើយ។
5Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
5បងប្អូនទាំងអស់គ្នាមានពន្លឺនៅក្នុងខ្លួនមានថ្ងៃនៅក្នុងខ្លួន យើងមិនមែនរស់នៅក្នុងយប់អន្ធការ និង ក្នុងសេចក្ដីងងឹតទេ។
6Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
6ហេតុនេះយើងមិនត្រូវដេកលក់ដូចអ្នកឯទៀតៗឡើយ ផ្ទុយទៅវិញ ត្រូវប្រុងស្មារតីហើយភ្ញាក់ខ្លួនជានិច្ច។
7For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
7អស់អ្នកដែលដេកលក់តែងដេកលក់នៅពេលយប់ ហើយអស់អ្នកស្រវឹងស្រាក៏តែងស្រវឹងនៅពេលយប់ដែរ។
8But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
8រីឯយើងដែលមានថ្ងៃនៅក្នុងខ្លួនវិញ យើងត្រូវភ្ញាក់ខ្លួនដោយយកជំនឿ និង សេចក្ដីស្រឡាញ់មកពាក់ធ្វើជាអាវក្រោះព្រមទាំងយកសេចក្ដីសង្ឃឹមលើការសង្គ្រោះមកពាក់ធ្វើជាមួកដែក
9For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
9ដ្បិតព្រះជាម្ចាស់មិនបានតំរូវអោយយើងទទួលទោសឡើយ គឺព្រះអង្គអោយយើងទទួលការសង្គ្រោះដោយសារព្រះយេស៊ូគ្រិស្ដជាព្រះអម្ចាស់នៃយើង
10Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
10បានសោយទិវង្គតសំរាប់យើង ដើម្បីអោយយើងរស់រួមជាមួយព្រះអង្គ ទោះបីយើងនៅរស់ក្ដីស្លាប់ក្ដី។
11Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
11ដូច្នេះចូរលើកទឹកចិត្ដគ្នា និង អប់រំគ្នាទៅវិញទៅមក ដូចបងប្អូនកំពុងតែធ្វើនេះស្រាប់។
12And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
12បងប្អូនអើយ យើងសូមអង្វរបងប្អូនអោយចេះគោរពអស់អ្នកដែលធ្វើការនឿយហត់ ក្នុងចំណោមបងប្អូន ជាអ្នកនាំមុខបងប្អូនក្នុងមាគ៌ាព្រះអម្ចាស់ និង អប់រំបងប្អូន។
13And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.
13ត្រូវលើកតម្លៃបងប្អូនទាំងនោះអោយបានខ្ពស់បំផុត ទាំងមានចិត្ដស្រឡាញ់ដោយយល់ដល់កិច្ចការដែលគេបំពេញនោះផង។ ត្រូវរស់នៅអោយបានសុខជាមួយគ្នា។
14Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
14បងប្អូនអើយយើង សូមដាស់តឿនបងប្អូនថា ចូរព្រមានអស់អ្នកដែលរស់គ្មានសណ្ដាប់ធ្នាប់ ចូរសំរាលទុក្ខអស់អ្នកដែលបាក់ទឹកចិត្ដ ជួយទ្រទ្រង់អស់អ្នកទន់ខ្សោយ និង មានចិត្ដអត់ធ្មត់ចំពោះ មនុស្សទួទៅផង។
15See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
15ចូរប្រយ័ត្នកុំ អោយនរណាម្នាក់ប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើអាក្រក់តបនឹងអំពើអាក្រក់ឡើយ តែត្រូវសង្វាតធ្វើអំពើល្អជានិច្ច គឺធ្វើចំពោះបងប្អូនគ្នាឯង និង ចំពោះមនុស្សទួទៅ។
16Rejoice evermore.
16ចូរមានអំណរសប្បាយជានិច្ច
17Pray without ceasing.
17ចូរអធិស្ឋានឥតឈប់ឈរ
18In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
18ចូរអរព្រះគុណព្រះជាម្ចាស់គ្រប់កាលៈទេសៈទាំងអស់ ដ្បិតព្រះអង្គសព្វព្រះហឫទ័យអោយបងប្អូន ដែលរួមជាមួយព្រះគ្រិស្ដយេស៊ូធ្វើដូច្នេះឯង។
19Quench not the Spirit.
19កុំរារាំងសកម្មភាពរបស់ព្រះវិញ្ញាណឡើយ
20Despise not prophesyings.
20កុំមើលងាយការថ្លែងព្រះបន្ទូល
21Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
21ចូរពិចារណាមើលគ្រប់សេចក្ដីទាំងអស់ ហើយស្រង់យកនូវសេចក្ដីណាដែលល្អ។
22Abstain from all appearance of evil.
22ត្រូវចៀសចេញអោយផុតពីអំពើអាក្រក់គ្រប់បែបយ៉ាង។
23And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
23សូមព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ជាប្រភពនៃសេចក្ដីសុខសាន្ដប្រោសបងប្អូនអោយបានវិសុទ្ធ ទាំងស្រុង។ សូមព្រះអង្គថែរក្សាខ្លួនបងប្អូនទាំងមូល ទាំងវិញ្ញាណ ទាំងព្រលឹង ទាំងរូបកាយអោយបានស្អាតឥត សៅហ្មងនៅថ្ងៃព្រះយេស៊ូគ្រិស្ដជាអម្ចាស់នៃយើងយាងមក។
24Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
24ព្រះអង្គដែលបានត្រាស់ហៅបងប្អូនមក ទ្រង់មានព្រះហឫទ័យស្មោះត្រង់ ព្រះអង្គនឹងសំរេច ការនេះជាពុំខាន។
25Brethren, pray for us.
25បងប្អូនអើយ សូមអធិស្ឋាន អោយយើងផង។
26Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss.
26សូមជំរាបសួរពួកបងប្អូនទាំងអស់ ដោយស្និទ្ធស្នាល។
27I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren.
27ខ្ញុំសូមអង្វរបងប្អូន ក្នុងព្រះនាមព្រះអម្ចាស់ថា សូមអានសំបុត្រនេះ អោយបងប្អូនទាំងអស់គ្នាស្ដាប់ផង។
28The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
28សូមអោយបងប្អូនប្រកបដោយព្រះគុណរបស់ព្រះយេស៊ូគ្រិស្ដ ជាអម្ចាស់នៃយើង។
