¹I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

¹ហេតុនេះ ខ្ញុំដែលជាប់ឃុំឃាំង សូមដាស់តឿនបងប្អូនក្នុងព្រះនាមព្រះអម្ចាស់ថា ដោយព្រះជាម្ចាស់បាន ត្រាស់ហៅបងប្អូន ចូររស់នៅ អោយបានសមរម្យនឹងការត្រាស់ហៅនោះទៅ។

²With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

²ចូរបន្ទាបខ្លួន មានចិត្ដស្លូតបូត និង ចេះអត់ធ្មត់ ព្រមទាំងទ្រាំទ្រគ្នាទៅវិញទៅមកដោយសេចក្ដីស្រឡាញ់។

³Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

³ចូរយកចិត្ដទុកដាក់រក្សាឯកភាពដែលមកពីព្រះវិញ្ញាណ ដោយយកសេចក្ដីសុខសាន្ដធ្វើជាចំណងប្រាស្រ័យទាក់ទងគ្នា។

⁴There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

⁴ព្រះកាយមានតែមួយ ហើយព្រះវិញ្ញាណក៏មានតែមួយ ដូចព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានត្រាស់ហៅបងប្អូនអោយមានសេចក្ដីសង្ឃឹមតែមួយនោះដែរ។

⁵One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

⁵ព្រះអម្ចាស់មានតែមួយ ជំនឿមានតែមួយ ពិធីជ្រមុជទឹក មានតែមួយ។

⁶One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

⁶ព្រះជាម្ចាស់មានតែមួយ ព្រះអង្គជាព្រះបិតារបស់មនុស្សទាំងអស់ ព្រះអង្គខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់លើសអ្វីៗទាំងអស់ហើយព្រះអង្គធ្វើការតាមរយៈមនុស្សទាំងអស់ និង សណ្ឋិតនៅក្នុងមនុស្សទាំងអស់។

⁷But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

⁷ព្រះអង្គបានផ្ដល់ព្រះគុណមកអោយយើងម្នាក់ៗតាមកំរិតព្រះអំណោយទាន ដែលព្រះគ្រិស្ដប្រទានមកយើង។

⁸Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

⁸ហេតុនេះហើយបានជាមានថ្លែងទុកថា ព្រះអង្គបានយាងឡើងទៅស្ថានខ្ពស់ ព្រះអង្គបាននាំពួកជាប់ជាឈ្លើយទៅជាមួយ ហើយព្រះអង្គប្រទានព្រះអំណោយទាន ផ្សេងៗដល់មនុស្សលោក»។

⁹(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

⁹ពាក្យថា"យាងឡើងទៅ"នោះ បានសេចក្ដីថាដូចម្ដេច? គឺបានសេចក្ដីថាព្រះអង្គបានយាងចុះមកផែនដីដ៏ទាបនេះជាមុនសិន។

¹⁰He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

¹⁰ព្រះអង្គដែលបានយាងចុះមកនោះ ជាព្រះអង្គដែលបានយាងឡើងទៅទីដ៏ខ្ពស់បំផុតនៃស្ថានបរមសុខ ដើម្បីបំពេញអ្វីៗទាំងអស់។

¹¹And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

¹¹គឺព្រះអង្គហើយ ដែលបានប្រទានអោយអ្នកខ្លះមានមុខងារជាសាវ័ក អោយអ្នកខ្លះថ្លែងព្រះបន្ទូល អ្នកខ្លះផ្សាយដំណឹងល្អ អ្នកខ្លះជាអ្នកគង្វាល និង អ្នកខ្លះទៀតជាអ្នកបង្រៀន

¹²For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

¹²ដើម្បីរៀបចំប្រជាជនដ៏វិសុទ្ធអោយបំពេញមុខងារបំរើ និង កសាងព្រះកាយរបស់ព្រះគ្រិស្ដឡើង

¹³Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

¹³រហូតដល់យើងទាំងអស់រួមគ្នា មានជំនឿតែមួយ មានគំនិតតែមួយ ក្នុងការស្គាល់ព្រះបុត្រារបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ និង ទៅជាមនុស្សពេញវ័យ ឡើងដល់កំពស់របស់ព្រះគ្រិស្ដដែលបំពេញអ្វីៗទាំងអស់។

¹⁴That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

¹⁴ដូច្នេះ យើងមិនមែនជាកូនក្មេងដែលរេរា ត្រូវខ្យល់នៃគោលលទ្ធិនានា ផាត់ចុះផាត់ឡើង នោះទៀតឡើយ ហើយក៏លែងចាញ់បោក ឬ ចាញ់កលល្បិចមនុស្សដែលពូកែនាំអោយវង្វេងនោះទៀតដែរ។

¹⁵But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

¹⁵ផ្ទុយទៅវិញ បើយើងប្រព្រឹត្ដតាមសេចក្ដីពិតដោយចិត្ដស្រឡាញ់ យើងនឹងបានចំរើនឡើងគ្រប់វិស័យទាំងអស់ ឆ្ពោះទៅកាន់ព្រះគ្រិស្ដជាសិរសា

¹⁶From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

¹⁶គឺព្រះអង្គហើយ ដែលធ្វើអោយព្រះកាយទាំងមូលបានផ្គុំគ្នា និង ភ្ជាប់គ្នាឡើងយ៉ាងមាំ ដោយសារសន្លាក់ឆ្អឹងទាំងប៉ុន្មានដែលបំរើព្រះកាយ តាមកំរិតសមត្ថភាពរបស់សរីរាង្គនីមួយៗ ដើម្បីអោយព្រះកាយនោះចំរើន និង កសាងឡើង ក្នុងសេចក្ដីស្រឡាញ់។

¹⁷This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

¹⁷ដូច្នេះ ខ្ញុំសូមជំរាបបងប្អូន និង បញ្ជាក់ក្នុងព្រះនាមព្រះអម្ចាស់ថា សូមកុំរស់នៅដូចសាសន៍ដទៃ ដែលប្រព្រឹត្ដតាមប្រាជ្ញាដ៏ឥតប្រយោជន៍របស់គេនោះទៀតឡើយ។

¹⁸Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

¹⁸គំនិតអ្នកទាំងនោះងងឹតសូន្យសុង គេនៅឆ្ងាយពីព្រះជន្មរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ព្រោះគេមិនស្គាល់ព្រះអង្គ ហើយមានចិត្ដរឹងរូសទៀតផង។

¹⁹Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

¹⁹ដោយពួកគេលែងដឹងខុសត្រូវ គេនាំគ្នាប្រាសចាកសីលធម៌ បណ្ដោយខ្លួនទៅប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើអបាយមុខគ្រប់យ៉ាង តាមតែចិត្ដលោភលន់របស់គេ។

²⁰But ye have not so learned Christ;

²⁰រីឯបងប្អូនវិញ បងប្អូនពុំបានទទួលការអប់រំអំពីព្រះគ្រិស្ដរបៀបនេះទេ។

²¹If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

²¹ប្រសិនបើបងប្អូនបានឮគេនិយាយអំពីព្រះយេស៊ូ ហើយប្រសិនបើបងប្អូនបានទទួលការអប់រំអំពីព្រះអង្គ ស្របតាមសេចក្ដីពិតដែលមកពីព្រះអង្គមែន

²²That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

²²បងប្អូនត្រូវតែលះបង់កិរិយាមារយាទ ដែលបងប្អូនធ្លាប់កាន់ពីដើម គឺត្រូវដោះជីវិតចាស់ដែលកំពុងតែវិនាស តាមការលោភលន់បញ្ឆោតចិត្ដនេះចោលទៅ។

²³And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

²³ត្រូវប្រែគំនិតប្រាជ្ញា និង វិញ្ញាណអោយបានថ្មីឡើង

²⁴And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

²⁴ហើយត្រូវពាក់ជីវិតថ្មីដ៏សុចរិត និង វិសុទ្ធ មកពីសេចក្ដីពិត ជាជីវិតដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានបង្កើត ស្របតាមព្រះហឫទ័យរបស់ព្រះអង្គ។

²⁵Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

²⁵ហេតុនេះ សូមបងប្អូនឈប់និយាយកុហកទៅ «ម្នាក់ៗត្រូវនិយាយតែសេចក្ដីពិតទៅកាន់បងប្អូនឯទៀតៗ» ដ្បិតយើងជាសរីរាង្គរបស់គ្នាទៅវិញទៅមក។

²⁶Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

²⁶ប្រសិនបើបងប្អូនខឹង សូមប្រយ័ត្នកុំប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើបាប» កុំទុកកំហឹងរហូតដល់ថ្ងៃលិចនោះឡើយ។

²⁷Neither give place to the devil.

²⁷កុំហុចឱកាសអោយមារ មកល្បួងបងប្អូន។

²⁸Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

²⁸អ្នកណាធ្លាប់លួចកុំលួចទៀត ផ្ទុយទៅវិញ ត្រូវខំប្រឹងធ្វើការដោយចិត្ដទៀងត្រង់ ដើម្បីយកផលទៅជួយអ្នកដែលខ្វះខាត។

²⁹Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

²⁹កុំអោយមានពាក្យអាស្រូវណាមួយចេញពីមាត់បងប្អូនឡើយ ផ្ទុយទៅវិញ ត្រូវនិយាយតែពាក្យល្អដែលជួយកសាងជំនឿអ្នកដទៃ ប្រសិនបើគេត្រូវការ ព្រមទាំងនាំព្រះពរមកអោយអ្នកស្ដាប់ផងដែរ។

³⁰And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

³⁰កុំធ្វើអោយព្រះវិញ្ញាណដ៏វិសុទ្ធ របស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ព្រួយព្រះហឫទ័យសោះឡើយ ដ្បិតព្រះអង្គបានដៅសញ្ញាសំគាល់របស់ព្រះវិញ្ញាណមកលើបងប្អូនទុកសំរាប់ថ្ងៃដែលព្រះអង្គនឹងយាងមកលោះយើង។

³¹Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

³¹សូមបងប្អូនកំចាត់ចិត្ដជូរចត់ ចិត្ដក្ដៅក្រហាយកំហឹង សំរែកឡូឡា ពាក្យជេរប្រមាថ ព្រមទាំងសេចក្ដីអាក្រក់គ្រប់បែបយ៉ាង ចេញពីចំណោមបងប្អូនទៅ។

³²And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

³²ត្រូវមានចិត្ដសប្បុរស និង ចេះអាណិតមេត្ដាដល់គ្នាទៅវិញទៅមក។ ត្រូវប្រណីសន្ដោសគ្នាទៅវិញទៅមកដូចព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានប្រណីសន្ដោសបងប្អូន ដោយសារព្រះគ្រិស្ដដែរ។
