¹Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.

²There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him.

²នៅទីនោះ គេរៀបចំជប់លៀងថ្វាយព្រះយេស៊ូ។ នាងម៉ាថាបំរើភ្ញៀវ រីឯលោកឡាសារអង្គុយរួមតុជាមួយព្រះយេស៊ូ និង អ្នកឯទៀត។

³Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.

³នាងម៉ារីយកប្រេងក្រអូបកន្លះលីត្រ គឺប្រេងទេព្វិរូសុទ្ធដ៏មានតម្លៃលើសលប់ មកចាក់លាបព្រះបាទាព្រះយេស៊ូ រួចយកសក់នាងជូតក្លិនប្រេងក្រអូបសាយពេញផ្ទះ។

⁴Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him,

⁴ពេលនោះសិស្ស ម្នាក់ឈ្មោះយូដាសអ៊ីស្ការីយ៉ុត ដែលនឹងនាំគេមកចាប់ព្រះអង្គ ពោលឡើងថា៖

⁵Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?

⁵«ម្ដេចក៏មិនយកប្រេងក្រអូប ដែលមានតម្លៃបីរយដួង ទៅលក់យកប្រាក់ចែកអោយជនក្រីក្រវិញ?»។

⁶This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.

⁶គាត់និយាយដូច្នេះ មិនមែនមកពីគាត់យកចិត្ដទុកដាក់នឹងអ្នកក្រទេគឺមកពីគាត់ជាចោរ គាត់កាន់ថង់ប្រាក់ ហើយតែងលួចយកប្រាក់ដែលគេដាក់ក្នុងថង់នោះ។

⁷Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this.

⁷ប៉ុន្ដែ ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ទុកអោយនាងធ្វើតាមបំណងចិត្ដនាងទៅ! នាងចាក់ប្រេងក្រអូបនេះសំរាប់ថ្ងៃបញ្ចុះសពខ្ញុំ។

⁸For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always.

⁸អ្នកក្រីក្រនៅជាមួយអ្នករាល់គ្នារហូត រីឯខ្ញុំវិញ ខ្ញុំមិននៅជាមួយអ្នករាល់គ្នារហូតទេ»។

⁹Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.

⁹ជនជាតិយូដាច្រើនកុះករបានឮដំណឹងថា ព្រះអង្គគង់នៅភូមិបេតថានី គេនាំគ្នាមកមិនមែនគ្រាន់តែចង់ឃើញព្រះយេស៊ូប៉ុណ្ណោះទេ គឺចង់ឃើញលោកឡាសារដែលព្រះអង្គបានប្រោសអោយរស់ឡើងវិញនោះថែមទៀតផង។

¹⁰But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death;

¹⁰ពួកនាយកបូជាចារ្យ បានសំរេចចិត្ដសម្លាប់លោកឡាសារដែរ

¹¹Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.

¹¹ព្រោះតែគាត់នេះហើយ បានជាមានជនជាតិយូដាជាច្រើនបែកចេញពីពួកគេមកជឿលើព្រះយេស៊ូ។

¹²On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,

¹²នៅថ្ងៃបន្ទាប់ មានបណ្ដាជនច្រើនកុះករមកចូលរួមធ្វើបុណ្យចម្លង ។ កាលគេឮដំណឹងថា ព្រះយេស៊ូយាងជិតដល់ក្រុងយេរូសាឡឹម

¹³Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.

¹³គេនាំគ្នាកាច់ធាងទន្សែ កាន់មកទទួលព្រះអង្គ ទាំងស្រែកថា៖ «ជយោ! សូមព្រះជាម្ចាស់ប្រទានពរដល់ ព្រះអង្គ ដែលយាងមក ក្នុងព្រះនាមព្រះអម្ចាស់ គឺព្រះមហាក្សត្ររបស់ជនជាតិអ៊ីស្រាអែល!»

¹⁴And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written,

¹⁴ព្រះយេស៊ូរកបានកូនលាមួយ ហើយព្រះអង្គគង់លើខ្នងវា ស្របតាមសេចក្ដីដែលមានចែងទុកមកថា៖

¹⁵Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt.

¹⁵ប្រជាជន ក្រុងស៊ីយ៉ូនអើយ កុំភ័យខ្លាចអី! មើលហ្ន៎ ព្រះមហាក្សត្ររបស់អ្នក យាងមកដល់ហើយ ព្រះអង្គគង់លើខ្នងកូនលា»។

¹⁶These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.

¹⁶នៅពេលនោះ ពួកសិស្ស ពុំបានយល់ហេតុការណ៍ទាំងនេះភ្លាមៗទេ។ លុះដល់ព្រះយេស៊ូបានសំដែងសិរីរុងរឿងហើយ ទើបគេនឹកឃើញថាហេតុការណ៍ទាំងនេះ មានចែងទុកអំពីព្រះអង្គ ហើយមហាជនក៏បានធ្វើកិច្ចការទាំងប៉ុន្មាន ថ្វាយព្រះអង្គស្របតាមគម្ពីរដែរ។

¹⁷The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.

¹⁷អស់អ្នកដែលនៅជាមួយព្រះយេស៊ូកាលព្រះអង្គហៅលោកឡាសារចេញពីផ្នូរ ហើយប្រោសគាត់អោយរស់ឡើងវិញនោះនាំគ្នាផ្ដល់សក្ខីភាព អំពីកិច្ចការដែលព្រះអង្គបានធ្វើ។

¹⁸For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle.

¹⁸បណ្ដាជនមកទទួលព្រះអង្គ ដ្បិតគេបានឮថាព្រះអង្គបានធ្វើទីសំគាល់នេះ។

¹⁹The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.

¹⁹ពួកខាងគណៈផារីស៊ីនិយាយគ្នាថា៖ «ឃើញទេ យើងមិនអាចឈ្នះបានឡើយ! មនុស្សម្នានាំគ្នាទៅតាមអ្នកនោះអស់!»។

²⁰And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast:

²⁰ក្នុងចំណោមអស់អ្នកដែលឡើងទៅថ្វាយបង្គំព្រះជាម្ចាស់ក្នុងឱកាសបុណ្យចម្លង មានជនជាតិក្រិកខ្លះដែរ។

²¹The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.

²¹គេចូលទៅជិតលោកភីលីពជាអ្នកភូមិបេតសៃដាក្នុងស្រុកកាលីឡេ ហើយពោលថា៖ «លោកម្ចាស់! យើងខ្ញុំចង់ជួបលោកយេស៊ូ»។

²²Philip cometh and telleth Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus.

²²លោកភីលីពទៅប្រាប់លោកអនទ្រេ ហើយលោកអនទ្រេ និង លោកភីលីព ចូលទៅទូលព្រះយេស៊ូ។

²³And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.

²³ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគេថា៖ «ឥឡូវនេះ ដល់ពេលកំណត់ដែលបុត្រមនុស្សត្រូវសំដែង សិរីរុងរឿងហើយ។

²⁴Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

²⁴ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងច្បាស់ថា គ្រាប់ស្រូវធ្លាក់ដល់ដីហើយ បើមិនងាប់ទេ គ្រាប់នោះនៅតែមួយដដែល។ ផ្ទុយទៅវិញ បើគ្រាប់ស្រូវនោះងាប់វានឹងបង្កើតផលបានច្រើន។

²⁵He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

²⁵អ្នកណាស្រឡាញ់ជីវិតរបស់ខ្លួន អ្នកនោះនឹងបាត់បង់ជីវិតទៅ រីឯអ្នកដែលមិនជំពាក់ចិត្ដនឹងជីវិតរបស់ខ្លួន ក្នុងពិភពលោកនេះទេនឹងរក្សាជីវិតខ្លួនអោយនៅស្ថិតស្ថេរអស់កល្បជានិច្ច។

²⁶If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

²⁶បើអ្នកណាចង់បំរើខ្ញុំ អ្នកនោះត្រូវមកតាមខ្ញុំ ខ្ញុំនៅទីណា អ្នកបំរើរបស់ខ្ញុំក៏នឹងនៅទីនោះដែរ។ បើអ្នកណាបំរើខ្ញុំ ព្រះបិតានឹងលើកកិត្ដិយសអ្នកនោះ»។

²⁷Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.

²⁷«ឥឡូវនេះ ទូលបង្គំរន្ធត់ចិត្ដណាស់ មិនដឹងជានឹងទូលថាដូចម្ដេចឡើយ។ ឱព្រះបិតាអើយ សូមសង្គ្រោះទូលបង្គំអោយរួចផុតពីទុក្ខលំបាក នៅពេលកំណត់នេះផង។ ប៉ុន្ដែ ទូលបង្គំមក ដើម្បីរងទុក្ខលំបាកក្នុងពេលកំណត់នេះហើយ។

²⁸Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.

²⁸ព្រះបិតាអើយ សំដែងសិរីរុងរឿង ព្រះនាមរបស់ព្រះអង្គឡើង»។ ពេលនោះមានឮព្រះសូរសៀងពីលើមេឃមកថា៖ «យើងបានសំដែងសិរីរុងរឿងរបស់យើងហើយយើងក៏នឹងសំដែងសិរីរុងរឿងជាថ្មីទៀត»។

²⁹The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.

²⁹បណ្ដាជននៅទីនោះ បានឮព្រះសូរសៀង ក៏ពោលថា«សន្ធឹកផ្គរលាន់» អ្នកខ្លះទៀត ពោលថា«មានទេវតា និយាយមកលោក»។

³⁰Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.

³⁰ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «សំឡេងនេះ បន្លឺឡើងសំរាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នាមិនមែនសំរាប់ខ្ញុំទេ។

³¹Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

³¹ឥឡូវនេះ ដល់ពេលកាត់ទោសមនុស្សលោកហើយ ហើយចៅហ្វាយរបស់មនុស្សលោកនឹងត្រូវបណ្ដេញចេញទៅក្រៅ។

³²And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

³²រីឯខ្ញុំវិញ កាលណាគេលើកខ្ញុំឡើងពីដី ខ្ញុំនឹងទាញមនុស្សទាំងអស់មកឯខ្ញុំ»។

³³This he said, signifying what death he should die.

³³ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលដូច្នេះ ដើម្បីប្រាប់គេអំពីរបៀបដែលព្រះអង្គត្រូវសោយទិវង្គត។

³⁴The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?

³⁴បណ្ដាជននាំគ្នាទូលអង្វរព្រះអង្គថា៖ «យើងបានដឹងតាមរយៈក្រឹត្យវិន័យថា ព្រះគ្រិស្ដ ត្រូវស្ថិតនៅអស់កល្បជានិច្ច ចុះម្ដេចក៏លោកមានប្រសាសន៍ថា បុត្រមនុស្សនឹងត្រូវគេលើកឡើងពីដីដូច្នេះ?

³⁵Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.

³⁵តើនរណាជាបុត្រមនុស្សនោះ?»។ ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគេថា៖ «ពន្លឺនៅជាមួយអ្នករាល់គ្នាតែបន្ដិច ទៀតប៉ុណ្ណោះ។ ចូរនាំគ្នាដើរ ក្នុងពេលដែលអ្នករាល់គ្នាកំពុងតែមានពន្លឺនៅឡើយ ក្រែងលោសេចក្ដីងងឹតតាមអ្នករាល់គ្នាទាន់ ដ្បិតអ្នកដើរក្នុងសេចក្ដីងងឹតពុំដឹងថាខ្លួនធ្វើដំណើរទៅទីណាទេ។

³⁶While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.

³⁶ក្នុងពេលដែលអ្នករាល់គ្នានៅមានពន្លឺនៅឡើយ ចូរនាំគ្នាជឿលើពន្លឺ ដើម្បីអោយបានទៅជាបុត្រធីតានៃពន្លឺ»។ កាលព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលដូច្នេះហើយ ទ្រង់យាងចេញទៅលាក់ខ្លួនមិនអោយបណ្ដាជនឃើញ។

³⁷But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:

³⁷ទោះបីព្រះយេស៊ូធ្វើទីសំគាល់ជាច្រើនអោយគេឃើញយ៉ាងណាក៏ដោយ ក៏គេនៅតែពុំជឿលើព្រះអង្គដដែល

³⁸That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?

³⁸គឺស្របតាមសេចក្ដីដែលព្យាការី អេសាយបានថ្លែងទុកមកថា៖ «បពិត្រព្រះអម្ចាស់ តើនរណាជឿសេចក្ដី ដែលយើងនិយាយប្រាប់? តើព្រះអម្ចាស់បានសំដែងឫទ្ធិបារមី អោយនរណាឃើញ?»។

³⁹Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,

³⁹គេពុំអាចជឿបានឡើយ ស្របតាមសេចក្ដីដែលព្យាការីអេសាយបានថ្លែងទៀតថា៖

⁴⁰He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

⁴⁰«ព្រះអង្គបានធ្វើអោយភ្នែកគេខ្វាក់ អោយចិត្ដគេរឹង មិនអោយភ្នែកគេមើលឃើញ មិនអោយប្រាជ្ញាគេយល់ ហើយមិនអោយគេងាកមករកយើង ក្រែងលោយើងប្រោសគេអោយបានជា»។

⁴¹These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him.

⁴¹ព្យាការីអេសាយពោលពាក្យទាំងនេះ មកពីលោកបានឃើញសិរីរុងរឿងរបស់ព្រះយេស៊ូ ហើយលោកក៏ថ្លែងទុកអំពីព្រះអង្គ។

⁴²Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:

⁴²ក្នុងចំណោមអ្នកដឹកនាំ មានគ្នាច្រើននាក់ជឿលើព្រះអង្គដែរ ប៉ុន្ដែ អ្នកទាំងនោះពុំហ៊ានប្រកាសជំនឿរបស់ខ្លួនឡើយ ព្រោះខ្លាចពួកខាងគណៈផារីស៊ី និង ខ្លាចគេដេញចេញពីសាលាប្រជុំ

⁴³For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

⁴³ដ្បិតពួកគេចូលចិត្ដទទួលសិរីរុងរឿងពីមនុស្សជាជាងទទួលសិរីរុងរឿងពីព្រះជាម្ចាស់។

⁴⁴Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.

⁴⁴ព្រះយេស៊ូបន្លឺព្រះសូរសៀងខ្លាំងៗថា៖ «អ្នកណាជឿលើខ្ញុំ មិនត្រឹមតែជឿលើខ្ញុំប៉ុណ្ណោះទេ គឺជឿលើព្រះអង្គដែលបានចាត់ខ្ញុំអោយមកនោះដែរ។

⁴⁵And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.

⁴⁵អ្នកណាឃើញខ្ញុំអ្នកនោះក៏ឃើញព្រះអង្គដែលបានចាត់ខ្ញុំអោយមកដែរ។

⁴⁶I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

⁴⁶ខ្ញុំជាពន្លឺ ខ្ញុំមកក្នុងពិភពលោកនេះ ដើម្បីកុំអោយអស់អ្នកដែលជឿលើខ្ញុំ ស្ថិតនៅក្នុងសេចក្ដីងងឹត។

⁴⁷And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

⁴⁷បើអ្នកណាឮពាក្យខ្ញុំហើយ តែមិនប្រតិបត្ដិតាម មិនមែនខ្ញុំទេដែលកាត់ទោសអ្នកនោះដ្បិតខ្ញុំមក មិនមែនដើម្បីកាត់ទោសមនុស្សលោកទេ គឺខ្ញុំមកសង្គ្រោះមនុស្សលោកវិញ។

⁴⁸He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

⁴⁸អ្នកណាផាត់ខ្ញុំចោល ហើយមិនទទួលពាក្យខ្ញុំ អ្នកនោះមានចៅក្រមកាត់ទោសរួចស្រេចទៅហើយ គឺពាក្យដែលខ្ញុំបាននិយាយនឹងកាត់ទោសគេ នៅថ្ងៃចុងក្រោយបង្អស់។

⁴⁹For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

⁴⁹ពាក្យដែលខ្ញុំបាននិយាយនេះ មិនមែនចេញមកពីខ្ញុំទេ គឺព្រះបិតាដែលបានចាត់ខ្ញុំអោយមក ទ្រង់បង្គាប់ខ្ញុំនូវសេចក្ដីដែលខ្ញុំត្រូវនិយាយ និង ថ្លែង។

⁵⁰And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

⁵⁰ខ្ញុំដឹងថាបទបញ្ជារបស់ព្រះអង្គផ្ដល់ជីវិតអស់កល្បជានិច្ច។ សេចក្ដីណាដែលខ្ញុំនិយាយ ខ្ញុំនិយាយដូចព្រះបិតាមានព្រះបន្ទូលមកខ្ញុំដែរ»។
