¹And it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched him.

¹មានថ្ងៃមួយជាថ្ងៃសប្ប័ទ ព្រះយេស៊ូយាងទៅសោយព្រះស្ងោយនៅផ្ទះរបស់មេដឹកនាំខាងគណៈផារីស៊ី ម្នាក់ អស់អ្នកដែលនៅផ្ទះនោះតាមឃ្លំាមើលព្រះអង្គ។

²And, behold, there was a certain man before him which had the dropsy.

²មានបុរសម្នាក់កើតទាច ឈរនៅមុខព្រះអង្គ។

³And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day?

³ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលសួរទៅពួកបណ្ឌិតខាងវិន័យ និង ពួកខាងគណៈផារីស៊ី ថា៖ «តើយើងមានសិទ្ធិមើលអ្នកជំងឺអោយបានជា នៅថ្ងៃសប្ប័ទឬទេ?»។

⁴And they held their peace. And he took him, and healed him, and let him go;

⁴គេនៅស្ងៀមទាំងអស់គ្នា ព្រះយេស៊ូហៅអ្នកជំងឺមក ហើយប្រោសគាត់អោយជា រួចអោយគាត់ត្រឡប់ទៅវិញ។

⁵And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day?

⁵បន្ទាប់មក ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ក្នុងចំណោមអ្នករាល់គ្នា បើអ្នកណាម្នាក់មានកូន ឬ គោធ្លាក់អណ្ដូង ទោះបីថ្ងៃនោះជាថ្ងៃសប្ប័ទក៏ដោយ ក៏អ្នកនោះស្រង់វាឡើងជាបន្ទាន់មិនខាន»។

⁶And they could not answer him again to these things.

⁶គេពុំអាចឆ្លើយ តបនឹងព្រះអង្គអំពីសេចក្ដីទាំងនេះបានឡើយ។

⁷And he put forth a parable to those which were bidden, when he marked how they chose out the chief rooms; saying unto them.

⁷ព្រះយេស៊ូសង្កេតឃើញភ្ញៀវៗចេះតែរើសកន្លែងកិត្ដិយសអង្គុយ ព្រះអង្គក៏មានព្រះបន្ទូលជាប្រស្នាទៅគេថា៖

⁸When thou art bidden of any man to a wedding, sit not down in the highest room; lest a more honourable man than thou be bidden of him;

⁸«បើមានគេអញ្ជើញអ្នកទៅជប់លៀង ក្នុងពិធីមង្គលការណាមួយ សុំកុំទៅអង្គុយកន្លែងដែលគេបំរុងទុក សំរាប់ភ្ញៀវ កិត្ដិយស ក្រែងលោគេបានអញ្ជើញភ្ញៀវម្នាក់ទៀត មានឋានៈខ្ពស់ជាងអ្នក។

⁹And he that bade thee and him come and say to thee, Give this man place; and thou begin with shame to take the lowest room.

⁹ប្រសិនបើម្ចាស់ផ្ទះបានអញ្ជើញអ្នកផង អញ្ជើញភ្ញៀវមានឋានៈខ្ពស់នោះផង គាត់មុខជាសុំអោយអ្នកទុកកន្លែងកិត្ដិយសជូនអ្នកមានឋានៈខ្ពស់ជាមិនខាន។ ពេលនោះអ្នកនឹងត្រូវអាម៉ាស់មុខ ហើយទៅអង្គុយកន្លែងអន់ជាងគេវិញ។

¹⁰But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee.

¹⁰ដូច្នេះ បើមានគេអញ្ជើញអ្នក ចូរទៅអង្គុយកន្លែងអន់ជាងគេសិន លុះដល់ម្ចាស់ផ្ទះពោលមកកាន់អ្នកថា "សំឡាញ់អើយ! សូមអ្នកមកអង្គុយនៅកន្លែងខាងមុខនេះវិញ" ពេលនោះ អ្នកនឹងមានកិត្ដិយស នៅចំពោះមុខភ្ញៀវទាំងអស់ដែលអង្គុយរួមតុជាមួយអ្នកជាមិនខាន។

¹¹For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

¹¹អ្នកណាលើកតម្កើងខ្លួនអ្នកនោះនឹងត្រូវគេបន្ទាបចុះ។ រីឯអ្នកដែលបន្ទាបខ្លួន នឹងត្រូវគេលើកតម្កើងវិញ»។

¹²Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee.

¹²បន្ទាប់មក ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅកាន់អ្នកដែលបានយាងព្រះអង្គមកសោយព្រះស្ងោយនោះថា៖«កាលណាអ្នកអញ្ជើញភ្ញៀវមកជប់លៀង ទោះបីថ្ងៃត្រង់ក្ដីល្ងាចក្ដី កុំអញ្ជើញមិត្ដភក្ដិបងប្អូន ញាតិសន្ដានរបស់អ្នក ឬ អ្នកជិតខាងដែលមានសម្បត្ដិស្ដុកស្ដម្ភនោះឡើយ ដ្បិតអ្នកទាំងនោះអញ្ជើញអ្នកតបស្នងវិញបាន។

¹³But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:

¹³ផ្ទុយទៅវិញ ពេលណាអ្នកធ្វើពិធីជប់លៀងត្រូវអញ្ជើញអ្នកក្រីក្រ មនុស្សពិការ ខ្វិនខ្វាក់។

¹⁴And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.

¹⁴ធ្វើដូច្នេះ អ្នកនឹងមានសុភមង្គល ជាមិនខាន ដ្បិតអ្នកទាំងនោះពុំអាចតបស្នងអ្នកបានឡើយ គឺព្រះជាម្ចាស់វិញទេដែលនឹងតបស្នងជូនអ្នក នៅពេលមនុស្សសុចរិតរស់ឡើងវិញ»។

¹⁵And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.

¹⁵ក្រោយបានឮព្រះបន្ទូលទាំងនេះហើយ បុរសម្នាក់ដែលអង្គុយរួមតុជាមួយព្រះយេស៊ូ ទូលព្រះអង្គថា៖«អ្នកណាបានចូលរួមពិធីជប់លៀងក្នុងព្រះរាជ្យ របស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ អ្នកនោះប្រាកដជា មានសុភមង្គល ហើយ!»។

¹⁶Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many:

¹⁶ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគាត់ថា៖ «មានបុរសម្នាក់រៀបពិធីជប់លៀងមួយយ៉ាងធំ ហើយលោកបានអញ្ជើញ ភ្ញៀវជាច្រើន។

¹⁷And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.

¹⁷លុះដល់ម៉ោងជប់លៀង លោកចាត់អ្នកបំរើអោយទៅប្រាប់ភ្ញៀវថា "ម្ហូបអាហារបានរៀបចំស្រេច ហើយសូមអញ្ជើញមក!"។

¹⁸And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.

¹⁸ប៉ុន្ដែ ភ្ញៀវទាំងនោះដោះសាបន្ដបន្ទាប់គ្នា ម្នាក់និយាយទៅកាន់អ្នកបំរើថា "ខ្ញុំទើបនឹងទិញដីចំការមួយកន្លែង ខ្ញុំត្រូវតែចេញទៅមើលឥឡូវនេះ សូមមេត្ដាអភ័យទោសអោយខ្ញុំផង"។

¹⁹And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.

¹⁹ម្នាក់និយាយថា "ខ្ញុំទើបនឹងទិញគោប្រាំនឹម ខ្ញុំត្រូវតែទៅទឹមវាសាក លមើលសូមមេត្ដាអភ័យទោសអោយខ្ញុំផង"។

²⁰And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.

²⁰ម្នាក់ទៀតពោលថា "ខ្ញុំទើបនឹងរៀបការប្រពន្ធខ្ញុំពុំអាចទៅចូលរួមក្នុងពិធីជប់លៀងបានឡើយ"។

²¹So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.

²¹អ្នកបំរើវិលទៅជួបម្ចាស់ របស់ខ្លួនវិញ ហើយជំរាបលោកតាមដំណើររឿង។ ម្ចាស់ផ្ទះក៏ខឹង លោកប្រាប់ទៅអ្នកបំរើថា "ចូរប្រញាប់ចេញទៅ តាមទីផ្សារ ទៅតាមផ្លូវនានាក្នុងទីក្រុង ហើយប្រមូលមនុស្សក្រីក្រ មនុស្សពិការ និង មនុស្សខ្វាក់ខ្វិនមក"។

²²And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room.

²²បន្ដិចក្រោយមក អ្នកបំរើជំរាបចៅហ្វាយវិញថា "លោកម្ចាស់! ខ្ញុំបាទបានធ្វើតាមបង្គាប់របស់លោកហើយតែកន្លែងអង្គុយនៅមាន សល់ទៀត"។

²³And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.

²³ម្ចាស់ផ្ទះប្រាប់ទៅអ្នកបំរើទៀតថា "ចូរទៅតាមផ្លូវស្រុកស្រែ តាមកៀនរបង ហើយបង្ខំមនុស្សម្នាអោយចូលមកពេញផ្ទះខ្ញុំ។

²⁴For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.

²⁴ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នាថា ក្នុងចំណោមអស់អ្នកដែលខ្ញុំបានអញ្ជើញកាលពីមុននោះ គ្មាននរណាម្នាក់បានបរិភោគក្នុងពិធីជប់លៀងរបស់ខ្ញុំឡើយ!"»។

²⁵And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them,

²⁵មានមហាជនជាច្រើនធ្វើដំណើរជាមួយព្រះយេស៊ូ។ ព្រះអង្គបែរព្រះភ័ក្ដ្រទៅរកគេ ហើយមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖

²⁶If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

²⁶«បើអ្នកណាចង់មកតាមខ្ញុំ តែមិនស្រឡាញ់ខ្ញុំខ្លំាងជាងឪពុកម្ដាយ ប្រពន្ធ កូន បងប្អូនប្រុសស្រី និង ជីវិតខ្លួនទេ អ្នកនោះពុំអាចធ្វើជាសិស្សរបស់ខ្ញុំបានឡើយ។

²⁷And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

²⁷អ្នកណាមិនលីឈើឆ្កាងរបស់ខ្លួន មកតាមខ្ញុំទេ អ្នកនោះក៏ពុំអាចធ្វើជាសិស្សរបស់ខ្ញុំបានដែរ។

²⁸For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?

²⁸ក្នុងចំណោមអ្នករាល់គ្នា ប្រសិនបើនរណាម្នាក់ចង់សង់ផ្ទះថ្មធំមួយ អ្នកនោះត្រូវអង្គុយគិតគូរមើលថ្លៃសង់ជាមុនសិនដើម្បីអោយដឹងថា តើខ្លួនមានប្រាក់ល្មមនឹងបង្ហើយសំណង់ ឬ យ៉ាងណា

²⁹Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,

²⁹ក្រែងលោចាក់គ្រឹះហើយ តែមិនអាចបង្ហើយបាន មនុស្សម្នាឃើញ មុខជាសើចចំអកអោយមិនខាន។

³⁰Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.

³⁰គេនឹងពោល "មើលបុរសនេះសង់ផ្ទះ តែមិនអាចបង្ហើយបានទេ!"។

³¹Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?

³¹ម៉្យាងទៀត ប្រសិនបើមានស្ដេចមួយអង្គចេញទៅធ្វើសឹកសង្គ្រាម តទល់នឹងស្ដេចមួយអង្គទៀត ទ្រង់ត្រូវគង់គិតគូរជាមុនសិនថា បើទ្រង់មានទ័ពមួយម៉ឺននាក់ តើទ្រង់អាចតទល់នឹងបច្ចាមិត្ដដែលមានគ្នាពីរម៉ឺននាក់បានឬយ៉ាងណា

³²Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.

³²បើឃើញថាមិនអាចតទល់បានទេ នោះទ្រង់នឹងចាត់រាជទូតអោយទៅសុំចរចារកសន្ដិភាព ក្នុងពេលដែលស្ដេចមួយអង្គទៀតនៅឆ្ងាយនៅឡើយ។

³³So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

³³ដូច្នេះ ក្នុងចំណោមអ្នករាល់គ្នា បើអ្នកណាមិនលះបង់អ្វីៗទាំងអស់ដែលខ្លួនមានទេ អ្នកនោះមិនអាចធ្វើជាសិស្ស របស់ខ្ញុំបានឡើយ»។

³⁴Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned?

³⁴«អំបិលជារបស់មួយសំខាន់ណាស់។ ប៉ុន្ដែ បើវាបាត់ជាតិប្រៃហើយ តើធ្វើម្ដេចនឹងអោយវាប្រៃវិញបាន?។

³⁵It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

³⁵វាគ្មានសារប្រយោជន៍អ្វីទៀតទេ ទោះបីយកទៅលាយដីឬ លាយជី ក៏មិនកើតដែរ មានតែចាក់ចោលទៅខាងក្រៅប៉ុណ្ណោះ។ អស់អ្នកដែលឮពាក្យនេះ សូមយកទៅពិចារណាចុះ!»។
