¹What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?

¹ដូច្នេះ តើយើងគិតដូចម្ដេចចំពោះលោកអប្រាហាំដែលជាបុព្វបុរស របស់យើងផ្នែក ខាងសាច់ឈាម តើលោកបានទទួលអ្វីខ្លះ?

²For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.

²ប្រសិនបើលោកអប្រាហាំបានសុចរិត ដោយសារការប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើល្អនោះ លោកអាចនឹងអួតអាងខ្លួនបានមែន។ ក៏ប៉ុន្ដែ នៅចំពោះព្រះភ័ក្ដ្រព្រះជាម្ចាស់ លោកពុំអាចអួតអាងបានទេ

³For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

³ដ្បិតក្នុងគម្ពីរមានចែងថា«លោកអប្រាហាំជឿលើព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ហើយព្រះអង្គប្រោសលោកអោយបានសុចរិត ដោយយល់ដល់ជំនឿនេះ»។

⁴Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.

⁴ធម្មតា អ្នកណាធ្វើការអ្វីមួយ គេពុំចាត់ទុកប្រាក់ឈ្នួលរបស់គេថាជាអំណោយទេ គឺចាត់ទុកជាប្រាក់ដែលខ្លួនត្រូវតែបាន។

⁵But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

⁵ចំពោះអ្នកដែលពុំបានប្រព្រឹត្ដតាមវិន័យ តែមានជំនឿលើព្រះជាម្ចាស់ដែលប្រោសមនុស្សមិនគោរពប្រណិប័តន៍ព្រះអង្គអោយបានសុចរិត ទ្រង់នឹងប្រោសអ្នកនោះអោយបានសុចរិតដោយយល់ដល់ជំនឿរបស់គេ។

⁶Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

⁶ហេតុនេះហើយបានជាព្រះបាទដាវីឌថ្លែងអំពីសុភមង្គល របស់អ្នក ដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់ប្រោសអោយបានសុចរិត ដោយមិនគិតដល់ការប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើល្អថាៈ

⁷Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

⁷«អស់អ្នកដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់អត់ទោស និង លុបបំបាត់អំពើបាបចោល ពិតជាមានសុភមង្គលហើយ!

⁸Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

⁸បុរសណាដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់មិនគិតគូរ ពីបាបរបស់ខ្លួនទេបុរសនោះពិតជាមានសុភមង្គលហើយ!»។

⁹Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness.

⁹តើមានតែសាសន៍យូដាទេឬ ដែលអាចទទួលសុភមង្គលនេះ ឬមួយសាសន៍ដទៃ ក៏អាចទទួលបានដែរ?។ យើងទើបនឹងនិយាយថា«ព្រះអង្គប្រោសលោកអប្រាហាំអោយបានសុចរិត ដោយយល់ដល់ជំនឿរបស់លោក»។

¹⁰How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.

¹⁰តើព្រះជាម្ចាស់ប្រោសលោកអប្រាហាំអោយបានសុចរិតនៅពេលណា? ក្រោយពេលលោកទទួលពិធីកាត់ស្បែក ឬក៏មុននោះ? គឺនៅមុនពេលលោកទទួលពិធីកាត់ស្បែក មិនមែនក្រោយពេលកាត់ស្បែកហើយនោះទេ!។

¹¹And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:

¹¹លោកបានទទួលពិធីកាត់ស្បែកតាមក្រោយ ទុកជាសញ្ញាបញ្ជាក់ថាលោកបានសុចរិត ដោយសារជំនឿដែលលោកមានកាលពីមិនទាន់កាត់ស្បែកនៅឡើយ។ ដូច្នេះ លោកបានទៅជាឪពុករបស់មនុស្សទាំងអស់ដែលមិនបានទទួលពិធីកាត់ស្បែកតែមានជំនឿ ហើយព្រះជាម្ចាស់ប្រោសគេអោយបានសុចរិត។

¹²And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.

¹²លោកក៏ជាឪពុករបស់សាសន៍យូដាដែលកាត់ស្បែកដែរ ជាអ្នកដែលមិនត្រឹមតែបានទទួលពិធីកាត់ស្បែកប៉ុណ្ណោះទេ គឺថែមទាំងបានយកតំរាប់តាមជំនឿរបស់លោកអប្រាហាំជាឪពុករបស់យើង នៅគ្រាដែលលោកមិនទាន់ទទួលពិធីកាត់ស្បែកនៅឡើយនោះផង។

¹³For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

¹³ព្រះជាម្ចាស់មានព្រះបន្ទូលសន្យាមកលោកអប្រាហាំ និង ពូជពង្សរបស់លោកថា គេនឹងបានទទួលពិភពលោកទុកជាមត៌កដោយមិនគិតតាមក្រឹត្យវិន័យទេ គឺគិតតាមសេចក្ដីសុចរិតដែលបានមកពីជំនឿវិញ។

¹⁴For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:

¹⁴ប្រសិនបើមនុស្សទទួលមត៌ក ដោយគោរពតាមក្រឹត្យវិន័យនោះ បានសេចក្ដីថាជំនឿគ្មានប្រយោជន៍អ្វីសោះ ហើយព្រះបន្ទូលសន្យាក៏គ្មានតម្លៃអ្វីដែរ

¹⁵Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.

¹⁵ដ្បិតក្រឹត្យវិន័យបង្កើតអោយមានព្រះពិរោធ តែទីណាគ្មានក្រឹត្យវិន័យ នៅទីនោះក៏គ្មានបទល្មើសក្រឹត្យវិន័យដែរ។

¹⁶Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

¹⁶ដូច្នេះ ព្រោះតែជំនឿដែលស្របតាមព្រះគុណ ព្រះបន្ទូលសន្យាត្រូវបានប្រទានមកចំពោះពូជពង្សលោកអប្រាហាំទាំងមូល មិនត្រឹមតែអស់អ្នកដែលប្រតិបត្ដិតាមក្រឹត្យវិន័យប៉ុណ្ណោះទេ តែសំរាប់អស់អ្នកដែលមានជំនឿដូចលោកអប្រាហាំ ជាឪពុករបស់យើងទាំងអស់គ្នាដែរ

¹⁷(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

¹⁷ដូចមានចែងទុកមកថា «យើងបានតែងតាំងអ្នកអោយធ្វើជាឪពុករបស់ជាតិសាសន៍មួយចំនួនធំ»។ លោកជាឪពុករបស់យើង នៅចំពោះព្រះភ័ក្ដ្រព្រះជាម្ចាស់ជាព្រះដែលលោកបានជឿ គឺព្រះអង្គដែលប្រោសមនុស្សស្លាប់អោយរស់ឡើងវិញ ហើយបានត្រាស់ហៅអ្វីៗដែលគ្មានរូបរាងអោយកើតមាន។

¹⁸Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.

¹⁸ទោះបីគ្មានអ្វីជាទីសង្ឃឹមក៏ដោយ ក៏លោកអប្រាហាំនៅតែមានសង្ឃឹម និង មានជំនឿ ហើយលោកក៏បានទៅជាឪពុករបស់ជាតិសាសន៍ជាច្រើន ស្របតាមព្រះបន្ទូលដែលមានថ្លែងទុកមកថា «ពូជពង្សរបស់អ្នកនឹងមានច្រើនយ៉ាងនេះ»។

¹⁹And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb:

¹⁹កាលណោះ លោកមានអាយុជិតមួយរយឆ្នំាហើយ ទោះបីលោកមើលមករូបកាយរបស់លោក ឃើញថាជិតស្លាប់ និង មើលទៅលោកយាយសារ៉ា ឃើញថាពុំអាចបង្កើតកូនបានសោះនោះក៏ដោយ ក៏ជំនឿរបស់លោកមិនអន់ថយដែរ។

²⁰He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

²⁰លោកមិនបាត់ជំនឿ ហើយមិនសង្ស័យនឹងព្រះបន្ទូលសន្យារបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ទេ ផ្ទុយទៅវិញជំនឿរបស់លោកធ្វើអោយលោកមានកម្លាំងចិត្ដនឹងលើកតម្កើងសិរីរុងរឿងរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់

²¹And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

²¹ព្រោះលោកជឿប្រាកដក្នុងចិត្ដថា បើព្រះជាម្ចាស់សន្យាធ្វើអ្វី ព្រះអង្គពិតជាមានឫទ្ធានុភាពនឹងសំរេចតាមបានមិនខាន។

²²And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

²²ហេតុនេះហើយបានជា«ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ប្រោសលោកអោយបានសុចរិត»។

²³Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;

²³ក៏ប៉ុន្ដែ សេចក្ដីដែលមានចែងថា «ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ប្រោសអោយបានសុចរិត»នេះមិនមែនសំដៅតែលើលោកអប្រាហាំប៉ុណ្ណោះទេ

²⁴But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

²⁴គឺសំដៅមកយើងដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់ប្រោសអោយបានសុចរិត ព្រោះយើងជឿលើព្រះអង្គដែលបានប្រោសព្រះយេស៊ូជាអម្ចាស់នៃយើងអោយមានព្រះជន្មរស់ឡើងវិញនេះដែរ។

²⁵Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

²⁵ព្រះយេស៊ូត្រូវគេបញ្ជូនទៅសម្លាប់ព្រោះតែកំហុសរបស់យើង ហើយព្រះជាម្ចាស់ប្រោសព្រះអង្គអោយមានព្រះជន្មរស់ឡើងវិញ ដើម្បីអោយយើងបានសុចរិត។
