¹Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?

¹បងប្អូនអើយ ខ្ញុំសូមនិយាយចំពោះបងប្អូន ដែលស្ទាត់ជំនាញខាងច្បាប់ បងប្អូនជ្រាបស្រាប់ហើយថា ច្បាប់មានអំណាចលើមនុស្ស តែក្នុងពេលដែលគេនៅមានជីវិតនៅឡើយ។

²For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

²ឧបមាថា ស្ដ្រីម្នាក់មានប្ដីតាមច្បាប់ នាងនៅជាប់ជាមួយប្ដី តែក្នុងពេលដែលប្ដីមានជីវិតនៅឡើយប៉ុណ្ណោះ។ បើប្ដីស្លាប់នាងនឹងរួចផុតពីច្បាប់ដែលចងនាងអោយនៅជាប់នឹងប្ដីនោះហើយ។

³So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

³ដូច្នេះ ពេលប្ដីនៅរស់នៅឡើយ ប្រសិនបើនាងមានប្ដីមួយទៀត នាងមានឈ្មោះថាជាស្ដ្រីផិតក្បត់។ ផ្ទុយទៅវិញ បើប្ដីនាងស្លាប់ នាងមានសេរីភាពរួចផុតពីច្បាប់ ហើយបើនាងមានប្ដីមួយទៀត នាងឥតមានឈ្មោះថាជាស្ដ្រីផិតក្បត់ទេ។

⁴Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

⁴រីឯបងប្អូនវិញ ក៏ដូច្នោះដែរ ដោយសារព្រះកាយរបស់ព្រះគ្រិស្ដ បងប្អូនបានស្លាប់ រួចផុតពីក្រឹត្យវិន័យ ហើយទៅជាប់នឹងម្ចាស់មួយទៀត គឺជាប់នឹងព្រះគ្រិស្ដដែលមានព្រះជន្មរស់ឡើងវិញដើម្បីបង្កើតផលថ្វាយព្រះជាម្ចាស់

⁵For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

⁵ដ្បិតកាលយើងរស់នៅខាងនិស្ស័យលោកីយ៍នៅឡើយ ដោយមានក្រឹត្យវិន័យជំរុញ តណ្ហាអាក្រក់ផ្សេងៗបានសំដែងឥទ្ធិពលក្នុងសរីរាង្គកាយរបស់យើង ដើម្បីអោយយើងបង្កើតផលដែលបណ្ដាលអោយស្លាប់

⁶But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

⁶តែឥឡូវនេះ ដោយយើងបានស្លាប់ រួចផុតពីក្រឹត្យវិន័យហើយ គឺរួចផុតពីអ្វីៗដែលបានឃុំឃាំងយើង ដូច្នេះ យើងបំរើព្រះជាម្ចាស់ តាមរបៀបថ្មី ដែលមកពីព្រះវិញ្ញាណ មិនមែនបំរើតាមរបៀបចាស់ ដែលមកពីក្រឹត្យវិន័យសរសេរជាលាយលក្ខណ៍អក្សរនោះឡើយ។

⁷What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

⁷ដូច្នេះយើងគិតដូចម្ដេច? តើក្រឹត្យវិន័យគ្រាន់តែនាំអោយស្គាល់បាបប៉ុណ្ណោះ។ ប្រសិនបើក្រឹត្យវិន័យមិនហាមថា«កុំលោភលន់» នោះខ្ញុំមុខជាពុំដឹងថាការលោភលន់នេះជាអ្វីផង។

⁸But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.

⁸បាប ក៏ឆ្លៀតឱកាសដែលបញ្ញត្ដិហាមឃាត់ខ្ញុំនោះបង្កើតអោយមានការលោភលន់គ្រប់យ៉ាងនៅក្នុងខ្លួនខ្ញុំ។ ប្រសិនបើគ្មានក្រឹត្យវិន័យទេបាបក៏រលាយសូន្យដែរ។

⁹For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.

⁹ពីដើមខ្ញុំរស់នៅដោយគ្មានក្រឹត្យវិន័យ។ លុះបញ្ញត្ដិមកដល់បាបក៏កើតមានឡើង

¹⁰And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.

¹⁰រីឯខ្ញុំ ខ្ញុំក៏បាត់បង់ជីវិត។ ដូច្នេះ បញ្ញត្ដិដែលត្រូវនាំអោយខ្ញុំមានជីវិតនោះ បែរជាបណ្ដាលអោយខ្ញុំស្លាប់ទៅវិញ

¹¹For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.

¹¹ដ្បិតបាបបានឆ្លៀតឱកាសយកបញ្ញត្ដិមកបោកបញ្ឆោតខ្ញុំ ហើយធ្វើអោយខ្ញុំស្លាប់ដោយសារបញ្ញត្ដិនេះ។

¹²Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

¹²ដូច្នេះ ក្រឹត្យវិន័យដ៏វិសុទ្ធ រីឯបញ្ញត្ដិដ៏វិសុទ្ធសុចរិតហើយល្អដែរ។

¹³Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

¹³តើអ្វីៗដ៏ល្អនេះបែរជានាំអោយខ្ញុំស្លាប់ឬ? ទេ មិនមែនទេ! គឺបាបវិញទេតើដែលនាំអោយខ្ញុំស្លាប់។ បាបបានប្រើវិន័យដែលល្អធ្វើអោយខ្ញុំស្លាប់ ដើម្បីបង្ហាញអោយឃើញថាបាបពិតជាបាបមែនហើយតាមរយៈបញ្ញត្ដិបាបលេចចេញមករឹតតែអាក្រក់ហួសហេតុទៅទៀត។

¹⁴For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

¹⁴យើងដឹងស្រាប់ហើយថា ក្រឹត្យវិន័យមកពីព្រះវិញ្ញាណ រីឯខ្ញុំវិញ ខ្ញុំជាមនុស្សដែលមាននិស្ស័យលោកីយ៍លក់ខ្លួនដាច់ថ្លៃអោយបាប

¹⁵For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.

¹⁵ដ្បិតខ្ញុំមិនយល់អ្វីដែលខ្ញុំធ្វើទេ កិច្ចការណាដែលខ្ញុំចង់ធ្វើ ខ្ញុំមិនធ្វើ រីឯកិច្ចការណាដែលខ្ញុំស្អប់ ខ្ញុំបែរជាធ្វើទៅវិញ។

¹⁶If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.

¹⁶ប្រសិនបើខ្ញុំធ្វើកិច្ចការណា ដែលខ្ញុំមិនចង់ធ្វើដូច្នេះ បានសេចក្ដីថាខ្ញុំយល់ស្របនឹងវិន័យ ហើយទទួលស្គាល់ថាក្រឹត្យវិន័យពិតជាល្អមែន។

¹⁷Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

¹⁷ដូច្នេះ មិនមែនខ្ញុំទេដែលប្រព្រឹត្ដកិច្ចការនោះ គឺបាបនៅក្នុងខ្ញុំវិញទេតើដែលប្រព្រឹត្ដ

¹⁸For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

¹⁸ដ្បិតខ្ញុំដឹងថាអ្វីៗដែលល្អមិនស្ថិតនៅក្នុងខ្ញុំទេ ពោលគឺមិនស្ថិតនៅក្នុងខ្ញុំដែលមាននិស្ស័យលោកីយ៍ទេ។ ខ្ញុំមានឆន្ទៈនឹងធ្វើអំពើល្អ តែខ្ញុំគ្មានសមត្ថភាពនឹងប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើល្អបានឡើយ។

¹⁹For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.

¹⁹ខ្ញុំមិនប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើល្អ ដែលខ្ញុំចង់ធ្វើនោះទេ តែបែរជាប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើអាក្រក់ដែលខ្ញុំមិនចង់ធ្វើទៅវិញ។

²⁰Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

²⁰ប្រសិនបើខ្ញុំប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើណាដែលខ្ញុំមិនចង់ធ្វើ បានសេចក្ដីថាមិនមែនខ្ញុំទៀតទេដែលប្រព្រឹត្ដដូច្នេះ គឺបាបស្ថិតនៅក្នុងខ្ញុំវិញទេតើ ដែលប្រព្រឹត្ដ។

²¹I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.

²¹ដូច្នេះ ចំពោះខ្ញុំដែលចង់ធ្វើអំពើល្អ ខ្ញុំសង្កេតឃើញមានគោលការណ៍មួយនេះថាខ្ញុំមានសមត្ថភាពធ្វើបានតែអំពើអាក្រក់ប៉ុណ្ណោះ។

²²For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

²²ក្នុងជំរៅចិត្ដរបស់ខ្ញុំ ខ្ញុំពេញចិត្ដនឹងក្រឹត្យវិន័យរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ណាស់

²³But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

²³ក៏ប៉ុន្ដែ ខ្ញុំឃើញថានៅក្នុងសរីរាង្គកាយរបស់ខ្ញុំ មានគោលការណ៍មួយទៀត ដែលតយុទ្ធនឹងមនសិការ របស់ខ្ញុំ ទាំងធ្វើអោយខ្ញុំជាប់ជាឈ្លើយធ្វើតាមបញ្ជារបស់បាបដែលស្ថិតនៅក្នុងសរីរាង្គកាយរបស់ខ្ញុំថែមទៀតផង។

²⁴O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

²⁴ខ្ញុំវេទនាណាស់! តើនរណានឹងដោះលែងខ្ញុំអោយរួចពីរូបកាយ ដែលរមែងតែងតែស្លាប់នេះបាន?

²⁵I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

²⁵សូមអរព្រះគុណព្រះជាម្ចាស់ តាមរយៈព្រះយេស៊ូគ្រិស្ដជាអម្ចាស់នៃយើង។ ដូច្នេះ ដោយសារគំនិតប្រាជ្ញារបស់ខ្ញុំ ខ្ញុំធ្វើតាមក្រឹត្យវិន័យរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់តែដោយសារខ្ញុំជាមនុស្សដែលមាននិស្ស័យលោកីយ៍ ខ្ញុំបែរជាធ្វើតាមបញ្ជារបស់បាប។
