¹But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:

¹ចំពោះអ្នកវិញ ត្រូវនិយាយតែសេចក្ដីណា ដែលស្របតាមសេចក្ដីបង្រៀនដ៏ត្រឹមត្រូវ។

²That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.

²ចូរជំរាបលោកតាចាស់ៗ កុំអោយស្រវឹងស្រា ត្រូវមានកិរិយាថ្លៃថ្លូរមានចិត្ដធ្ងន់មានជំនឿស្អាតស្អំមានចិត្ដស្រឡាញ់ និង ចេះស៊ូទ្រំា។

³The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

³រីឯលោកយាយចាស់ៗវិញ ក៏ដូច្នោះដែរ ចូរជំរាបគាត់ អោយកាន់កិរិយាមារយាទសមជាអ្នកដែលមានជីវិតដ៏វិសុទ្ធ កុំអោយនិយាយមួលបង្កាច់គេ ឬ ចំណូលស្រាឡើយ។ គាត់ត្រូវចេះផ្ដល់យោបល់ល្អៗ

⁴That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

⁴ដើម្បីជួយអប់រំស្ដ្រីៗដែលនៅក្មេងអោយចេះស្រឡាញ់ស្វាមី និង ស្រឡាញ់កូនរបស់ខ្លួន

⁵To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

⁵អោយមានចិត្ដធ្ងន់មានចរិយាបរិសុទ្ធ យកចិត្ដទុកដាក់នឹងកិច្ចការក្នុងផ្ទះសំបែងមានចិត្ដល្អ គោរពចុះចូលនឹងស្វាមីរៀងៗខ្លួន។ ធ្វើដូច្នេះគ្មាននរណាអាចមួលបង្កាច់ព្រះបន្ទូលរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានឡើយ។

⁶Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.

⁶រីឯពួកយុវជនវិញ ចូរដាស់តឿនគេអោយមានចិត្ដធ្ងន់គ្រប់វិស័យទាំងអស់។

⁷In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,

⁷ចូរប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើល្អធ្វើជាគំរូដល់គេគឺបង្រៀនគេយ៉ាងស្អាតស្អំ និង ថ្លៃថ្នូរ

⁸Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

⁸និយាយពាក្យសំដីត្រឹមត្រូវដែលរករិះគន់មិនកើត។ ធ្វើដូច្នេះ ពួកអ្នកប្រឆាំងនឹងបាក់មុខ ព្រោះគេរកអ្វីនិយាយអាក្រក់ពីយើងមិនបាន។

⁹Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;

⁹ចូរប្រាប់បងប្អូន ដែលជាខ្ញុំបំរើ អោយស្ដាប់បង្គាប់ម្ចាស់រៀងៗខ្លួនក្នុងគ្រប់កិច្ចការទាំងអស់ ត្រូវធ្វើអោយម្ចាស់ពេញចិត្ដ មិនត្រូវជំទាស់នឹងគាត់

¹⁰Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.

¹⁰មិនត្រូវគៃបន្លំយកអ្វីពីម្ចាស់ឡើយ ផ្ទុយទៅវិញ ត្រូវសំដែងចិត្ដល្អស្មោះត្រង់ទាំងស្រុងជានិច្ច ដើម្បីលើកកិត្ដិយសសេចក្ដីបង្រៀនអំពីព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ជាព្រះសង្គ្រោះរបស់យើងក្នុងគ្រប់កិច្ចការទាំងអស់។

¹¹For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

¹¹ព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានសំដែងអោយយើងស្គាល់ព្រះគុណព្រះអង្គ ជាព្រះគុណដែលផ្ដល់ការសង្គ្រោះដល់មនុស្សទាំងអស់

¹²Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

¹²ហើយអប់រំយើងអោយលះបង់ចិត្ដ ដែលមិនចេះគោរពប្រណិប័តន៍ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ចោល អោយលះបង់សេចក្ដីប៉ងប្រាថ្នាខាងលោកីយ៍ ដើម្បីអោយយើងរស់នៅក្នុងលោកនេះដោយមានចិត្ដធ្ងន់សុចរិត និង គោរពប្រណិប័តន៍ព្រះជាម្ចាស់

¹³Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

¹³ទាំងទន្ទឹងរង់ចាំសុភមង្គល តាមសេចក្ដីសង្ឃឹមរបស់យើង ហើយរង់ចាំព្រះយេស៊ូគ្រិស្ដជាព្រះជាម្ចាស់ដ៏ឧត្ដមបំផុត និង ជាព្រះសង្គ្រោះនៃយើងយាងមកប្រកបដោយសិរីរុងរឿង។

¹⁴Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

¹⁴ព្រះអង្គបានបូជាព្រះជន្មរបស់ព្រះអង្គផ្ទាល់សំរាប់យើង ដើម្បីលោះយើងអោយរួចផុតពីអំពើទុច្ចរិតគ្រប់យ៉ាង និង ជំរះប្រជារាស្ដ្រមួយទុកសំរាប់ព្រះអង្គផ្ទាល់ ជាប្រជារាស្ដ្រដែលខ្នះខ្នែងប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើល្អ។

¹⁵These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

¹⁵អ្នកត្រូវបង្រៀនសេចក្ដីនេះទាំងដាស់តឿន និង ស្ដីបន្ទោសដោយប្រើអំណាចពេញទី។ កុំអោយនរណាមើលងាយអ្នកបានឡើយ។
