¹Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

¹Tātad mums, ticībā attaisnotajiem, ir miers ar Dievu caur mūsu Kungu Jēzu Kristu,

²By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

²Caur Viņu, pateicoties ticībai, mums ir pieeja žēlastībai, kurā mēs stāvam un dižojamies cerībā uz Dieva bērnu svētlaimību.

³And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

³Bet nevien tas: mēs gavilējam ciešanās, zinādami, ka ciešanas rada pacietību,

⁴And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

⁴Pacietība - pastāvību, pastāvība - cerību,

⁵And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

⁵Bet cerība nepamet kaunā, jo Svētais Gars, kas mums ir dots, ir ielējis Dieva mīlestību mūsu sirdīs;

⁶For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

⁶Jo kāpēc Kristus miris par mums, grēciniekiem, īstajā laikā, kad mēs vēl bijām slimi?

⁷For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

⁷Jo neviens taču nemirst par taisnīgo, par labo varbūt kāds uzņemtos mirt.

⁸But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

⁸Bet Dievs apliecina savu mīlestību uz mums, jo īstajā laikā, kamēr mēs vēl bijām grēcinieki,

⁹Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

⁹Kristus mūsu dēļ nomira. Tāpēc jo vairāk tagad, viņa asinīs taisnoti, mēs caur Viņu būsim glābti no dusmām.

¹⁰For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

¹⁰Jo ja mēs tad, kad bijām ienaidnieki, tikām izlīdzināti ar Dievu Viņa Dēla nāvē, tad jo vairāk, būdami jau izlīdzināti, mēs būsim glābti Viņa dzīvībā.

¹¹And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

¹¹Bet nevien tas: mēs dižojamies Dievā caur mūsu Kungu Jēzu Kristu, kurā mēs tagad esam ieguvuši izlīdzināšanu.

¹²Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

¹²Tāpēc, kā caur vienu cilvēku pasaulē nācis grēks un ar grēku - nāve, tā nāve pārgāja uz visiem cilvēkiem, jo visi viņā grēkojuši.

¹³(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

¹³Jo līdz likumam pasaulē bija grēks, bet grēks netika pieskaitīts, jo nebija likuma.

¹⁴Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

¹⁴Bet no Ādama līdz Mozum nāve valdīja arī pār tiem, kas nebija apgrēkojušies līdzīgi Ādamam, kas ir Nākamā attēls.

¹⁵But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

¹⁵Bet ar žēlastības dāvanu nav tā kā ar pārkāpumu; jo, ja viena noziedzības dēļ daudzi miruši, tad jo vairāk Dieva žēlastība un viena cilvēka, Jēzus Kristus, žēlastības dāvana pārpilnībā nākusi pār daudziem.

¹⁶And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.

¹⁶Un nav ar žēlastības dāvanu tāpat kā viena grēka dēļ, jo lēmums pazudināšanai gan nācis viena grēka dēļ, bet žēlastība nākusi attaisnošanai no daudziem grēkiem.

¹⁷For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

¹⁷Jo ja viena vainas dēļ nāve kļuva valdniece caur vienu, tad jo vairāk tie, kas pārpilnībā saņēmuši žēlastības un taisnības dāvanas, būs valdnieki dzīvībā caur Vienu, Jēzu Kristu.

¹⁸Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

¹⁸Tātad, kā viena vainas dēļ pār visiem cilvēkiem nākusi pazudināšana, tā Viena taisnības dēļ pār visiem cilvēkiem nācis attaisnojums dzīvībai.

¹⁹For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

¹⁹Jo kā viena cilvēka nepaklausības dēļ daudzi kļuvuši grēcinieki, tā arī Viena paklausības dēļ daudzi kļuvuši taisnīgi.

²⁰Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

²⁰Bet starpā nācis likums, lai grēks ietu vairumā; bet kur pārpilnībā grēks, tur vēl lielākā pārpilnībā ir žēlastība,

²¹That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

²¹Lai, tāpat kā grēks valdījis nāvei, tā arī žēlastība caur taisnību mūžīgai dzīvei caur mūsu Kungu Jēzu Kristu.
