1Call now, if there be any that will answer thee; and to which of the saints wilt thou turn?

3I have seen the foolish taking root: but suddenly I cursed his habitation.
3Izaho nahita olona adala mamaka, nefa vetivety Indray dia tsy maintsy nanozona ny fonenany aho;
4His children are far from safety, and they are crushed in the gate, neither is there any to deliver them.
4Lavitra ny famonjena ny zanany Ka torotoro eo am-bavahady, nefa tsy manan-kamonjy;
5Whose harvest the hungry eateth up, and taketh it even out of the thorns, and the robber swalloweth up their substance.
5Ny vokatry ny taniny dia lanin'ny noana, eny, alainy na dia voafefy tsilo aza; ary ny fandrika mitanatana vava hahazo ny fananany
6Although affliction cometh not forth of the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground;
6Fa tsy mivoaka avy amin'ny vovoka ny alahelo, ary tsy mitrebona avy amin'ny tany ny fahoriana,
7Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward.
7Nefa teraka ho amin'ny fahoriana ny olombelona, dia tahaka ny fanidin'ny kilalaon'afo miakatra
8I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause:
8Fa raha toa ahy kosa dia hitady an'Andriamanitra aho, ary Andriamanitra ihany no hotolorako ny teniko,
9Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number:
9Dia Izay manao zava-dehibe tsy takatry ny saina sy zava-mahagaga tsy hita isa,
10Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth waters upon the fields:
10Dia Izay mampilatsaka ranonorana etỳ ambonin'ny tany ary mampandeha rano eny amin'ny saha,
11To set up on high those that be low; that those which mourn may be exalted to safety.
11Ka apetrany amin'ny avo Izay ambany, ary asandrany ho amin'ny fahafinaretana ny miory,
12He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.
12Dia Izay mahafoana ny hevitry ny fetsy, ka tsy hahefan'ny tànany na inona na inona hahasoa ny tenany;
13He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong.
13Ny fahafetsen'ny hendry ihany no entiny misambotra azy, ary ny saina ataon'ny mpiolakolaka dia rava;
14They meet with darkness in the day time, and grope in the noonday as in the night.
14Na dia amin'ny antoandro aza dia tafatsarapaka ao amin'ny maizina ireny ka miraparapa amin'ny mitataovovonana tahaka ny amin'ny alina;
15But he saveth the poor from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty.
15Fa vonjeny kosa ny malahelo tsy ho voan'ny sabatry ny vavany; Eny, vonjeny tsy ho azon'ny tanan'ny mahery izy.
16So the poor hath hope, and iniquity stoppeth her mouth.
16Dia misy fanantenana ho an'ny reraka; fa ny faharatsiana kosa mihombom-bava
17Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:
17Indro, sambatra ny zanak'olombelona izay anarin'Andriamanitra, koa aza atao ho zavatra kely ny famaizan'ny Tsitoha;
18For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole.
18Fa sady mandratra Izy no mamehy; Manorotoro Izy, ary ny tànany ihany no manasitrana.
19He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.
19Amin'ny fahoriana enina dia hamonjy anao Izy; Eny, amin'ny fito aza dia tsy hisy loza hihatra aminao.
20In famine he shall redeem thee from death: and in war from the power of the sword.
20Raha avy ny mosary, dia hiaro anao amin'ny fahafatesana Izy; Ary raha avy ny ady, dia hiaro anao tsy ho voan'ny sabatra Izy;
21Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue: neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh.
21Hampiereny tsy ho voan'ny kapo-bava ianao, ary tsy hatahotra, raha avy ny fandringanana;
22At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth.
22Ny fandringanana sy ny mosary dia hihomehezanao; ary tsy hatahoranao ny bibi-dia;
23For thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field: and the beasts of the field shall be at peace with thee.
23Fa vita fanekena amin'ny vato any an-tsaha aza ianao; Ary ny bibi-dia hihavana aminao;
24And thou shalt know that thy tabernacle shall be in peace; and thou shalt visit thy habitation, and shalt not sin.
24Ary ho hitanao fa ny fiadanana no lainao; Ary raha mizaha ny kijanao ianao, dia ho hitanao fa tsy misy very ny ao;
25Thou shalt know also that thy seed shall be great, and thine offspring as the grass of the earth.
25Ary ho hitanao koa fa maro ny zanakao, ary ny terakao ho tahaka ny ahitra amin'ny tany;
26Thou shalt come to thy grave in a full age, like as a shock of corn cometh in in his season.
26Haharitra ianao ambara-piditrao any am-pasana, raha mbola henjana, dia tahaka ny amboaram-bary akarina amin'ny fotoana.Izany ary no izy, fa efa nandinika azy izahay; Hevero ary izany, ka fantaro tsara.
27Lo this, we have searched it, so it is; hear it, and know thou it for thy good.
