1I cried unto the LORD with my voice; with my voice unto the LORD did I make my supplication.
1ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു ധ്യാനം; അവന്‍ ഗുഹയില്‍ ആയിരുന്നപ്പോള്‍ കഴിച്ച പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥന.
2I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble.
2ഞാന്‍ യഹോവയോടു ഉറക്കെ നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന്‍ ഉച്ചത്തില്‍ യഹോവയോടു യാചിക്കുന്നു.
3When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.
3അവന്റെ സന്നിധിയില്‍ ഞാന്‍ എന്റെ സങ്കടം പകരുന്നു; എന്റെ കഷ്ടത ഞാന്‍ അവനെ ബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
4I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.
4എന്റെ ആത്മാവു എന്റെ ഉള്ളില്‍ വിഷാദിച്ചിരിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ നീ എന്റെ പാതയെ അറിയുന്നു. ഞാന്‍ നടക്കുന്ന പാതയില്‍ അവര്‍ എനിക്കു ഒരു കണി ഒളിച്ചുവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
5I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.
5വലത്തോട്ടു നോക്കി കാണേണമേ; എന്നെ അറിയുന്നവന്‍ ആരുമില്ലല്ലോ. ശരണം എനിക്കു പോയ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ പ്രാണന്നു വേണ്ടി ആരും കരുതുന്നില്ല.
6Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.
6യഹോവേ, ഞാന്‍ നിന്നോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; നീ എന്റെ സങ്കേതവും ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്തു എന്റെ ഔഹരിയും ആകുന്നു എന്നു ഞാന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.
7Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.
7എന്റെ നിലവിളിക്കു ചെവി തരേണമേ. ഞാന്‍ ഏറ്റവും എളിമപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്നവര്‍ എന്നിലും ബലവാന്മാരാകയാല്‍ അവരുടെ കയ്യില്‍നിന്നു എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കേണമേ.
8ഞാന്‍ നിന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ കാരാഗൃഹത്തില്‍നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കേണമേ; നീ എന്നോടു ഉപകാരം ചെയ്തിരിക്കയാല്‍ നീതിമാന്മാര്‍ എന്റെ ചുറ്റം വന്നുകൂടും.
