1Hear my prayer, O LORD, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.
1ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീര്‍ത്തനം.
2And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.
2യഹോവേ, എന്റെ പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥന കേട്ടു, എന്റെ യാചനകള്‍ക്കു ചെവിതരേണമേ; നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയാലും നീതിയാലും എനിക്കുത്തരമരുളേണമേ.
3For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.
3അടിയനെ ന്യായവിസ്താരത്തില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കരുതെ; ജീവനുള്ളവന്‍ ആരും തിരുസന്നിധിയില്‍ നീതിമാനാകയില്ലല്ലോ.
4Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate.
4ശത്രു എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ ഉപദ്രവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്‍ എന്നെ നിലത്തിട്ടു തകര്‍ത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; പണ്ടേ മരിച്ചവരെപ്പോലെ അവന്‍ എന്നെ ഇരുട്ടില്‍ പാര്‍പ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
5I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.
5ആകയാല്‍ എന്റെ മനം എന്റെ ഉള്ളില്‍ വിഷാദിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ഹൃദയം എന്റെ ഉള്ളില്‍ സ്തംഭിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
6I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.
6ഞാന്‍ പണ്ടത്തെ നാളുകളെ ഔര്‍ക്കുംന്നു; നിന്റെ സകലപ്രവൃത്തികളെയും ഞാന്‍ ധ്യാനിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയെ ഞാന്‍ ചിന്തിക്കുന്നു.
7Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.
7ഞാന്‍ എന്റെ കൈകളെ നിങ്കലേക്കു മലര്‍ത്തുന്നു; വരണ്ട നിലംപോലെ എന്റെ പ്രാണന്‍ നിനക്കായി ദാഹിക്കുന്നു. സേലാ.
8Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
8യഹോവേ, വേഗം എനിക്കു ഉത്തരമരുളേണമേ; എന്റെ ആത്മാവു കാംക്ഷിക്കുന്നു. ഞാന്‍ കുഴിയില്‍ ഇറങ്ങുന്നവരെപ്പോലെ ആകാതിരിപ്പാന്‍ നിന്റെ മുഖത്തെ എനിക്കു മറെക്കരുതേ.
9Deliver me, O LORD, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.
9രാവിലെ നിന്റെ ദയ എന്നെ കേള്‍ക്കുമാറാക്കേണമേ; ഞാന്‍ നിന്നില്‍ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ; ഞാന്‍ നടക്കേണ്ടുന്ന വഴി എന്നെ അറിയിക്കേണമേ; ഞാന്‍ എന്റെ ഉള്ളം നിങ്കലേക്കു ഉയര്‍ത്തുന്നുവല്ലോ.
10Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
10യഹോവേ, എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ കയ്യില്‍നിന്നു എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ അടുക്കല്‍ ഞാന്‍ മറവിന്നായി വരുന്നു.
11Quicken me, O LORD, for thy name's sake: for thy righteousness' sake bring my soul out of trouble.
11നിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം ചെയ്‍വാന്‍ എന്നെ പഠിപ്പിക്കേണമേ. നീ എന്റെ ദൈവമാകുന്നുവല്ലോ; നിന്റെ നല്ല ആത്മാവു നേര്‍ന്നിലത്തില്‍ എന്നെ നടത്തുമാറാകട്ടെ.
12And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.
12യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ നാമംനിമിത്തം എന്നെ ജീവിപ്പിക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ നീതിയാല്‍ എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ കഷ്ടതയില്‍നിന്നു ഉദ്ധരിക്കേണമേ.
13നിന്റെ ദയയാല്‍ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ സംഹരിക്കേണമേ; എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കുന്നവരെ ഒക്കെയും നശിപ്പിക്കേണമേ; ഞാന്‍ നിന്റെ ദാസന്‍ ആകുന്നുവല്ലോ.
