1Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.
1ദൈവമേ, ഞങ്ങള്‍ നിനക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യുന്നു; ഞങ്ങള്‍ നിനക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യുന്നു; നിന്റെ നാമം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. ഞങ്ങള്‍ നിന്റെ അതിശയപ്രവൃത്തികളെ ഘോഷിക്കുന്നു.
2When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.
2സമയം വരുമ്പോള്‍ ഞാന്‍ നേരോടെ വിധിക്കും.
3The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.
3ഭൂമിയും അതിലെ സകല നിവാസികളും ഉരുകിപ്പോകുമ്പോള്‍ ഞാന്‍ അതിന്റെ തൂണുകളെ ഉറപ്പിക്കുന്നു. സേലാ.
4I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:
4ഡംഭം കാട്ടരുതെന്നു ഡംഭികളോടും കൊമ്പുയര്‍ത്തരുതെന്നു ദുഷ്ടന്മാരോടും ഞാന്‍ പറയുന്നു.
5Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.
5നിങ്ങളുടെ കൊമ്പു മേലോട്ടു ഉയര്‍ത്തരുതു; ശാഠ്യത്തോടെ സംസാരിക്കയുമരുതു.
6For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
6കിഴക്കുനിന്നല്ല, പടിഞ്ഞാറുനിന്നല്ല, തെക്കുനിന്നുമല്ല ഉയര്‍ച്ചവരുന്നതു.
7But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.
7ദൈവം ന്യായാധിപതിയാകുന്നു; അവന്‍ ഒരുത്തനെ താഴ്ത്തുകയും മറ്റൊരുത്തനെ ഉയര്‍ത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
8For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.
8യഹോവയുടെ കയ്യില്‍ ഒരു പാനപാത്രം ഉണ്ടു; വീഞ്ഞു നുരെക്കുന്നു; അതു മദ്യംകൊണ്ടു നിറെഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്‍ അതില്‍നിന്നു പകരുന്നു; ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലദുഷ്ടന്മാരും അതിന്റെ മട്ടു വലിച്ചുകുടിക്കും.
9But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
9ഞാനോ എന്നേക്കും പ്രസ്താവിക്കും; യാക്കോബിന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു സ്തുതിപാടും.
10All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
10ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ കൊമ്പുകളൊക്കെയും ഞാന്‍ മുറിച്ചു കളയും; നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ കൊമ്പുകളോ ഉയര്‍ന്നിരിക്കും. (സംഗീതപ്രമാണിക്കു; തന്ത്രിനാദത്തോടെ; ആസാഫിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീര്‍ത്തനം; ഒരു ഗീതം.)
