1In Judah is God known: his name is great in Israel.
1ദൈവം യെഹൂദയില്‍ പ്രസിദ്ധനാകുന്നു; അവന്റെ നാമം യിസ്രായേലില്‍ വലിയതാകുന്നു.
2In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion.
2അവന്റെ കൂടാരം ശാലേമിലും അവന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലം സീയോനിലും ഇരിക്കുന്നു.
3There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.
3അവിടെവെച്ചു അവന്‍ വില്ലിന്റെ മിന്നുന്ന അമ്പുകളും പരിചയും വാളും യുദ്ധവും തകര്‍ത്തുകളഞ്ഞു. സേലാ.
4Thou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.
4ശാശ്വതപര്‍വ്വതങ്ങളെക്കാള്‍ നീ തേജസ്സും മഹിമയും ഉള്ളവനാകുന്നു.
5The stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands.
5ധൈര്യശാലികളെ കൊള്ളയിട്ടു അവര്‍ നിദ്രപ്രാപിച്ചു; പരാക്രമശാലികള്‍ക്കു ആര്‍ക്കും കൈക്കരുത്തില്ലാതെപോയി.
6At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.
6യാക്കോബിന്റെ ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ ശാസനയാല്‍ തേരും കുതിരയും ഗാഢനിദ്രയില്‍ വീണു.
7Thou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?
7നീ ഭയങ്കരനാകുന്നു; നീ ഒന്നു കോപിച്ചാല്‍ തിരുമുമ്പാകെ നില്‍ക്കാകുന്നവന്‍ ആര്‍?
8Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,
8സ്വര്‍ഗ്ഗത്തില്‍നിന്നു നീ വിധി കേള്‍പ്പിച്ചു; ഭൂമിയിലെ സാധുക്കളെയൊക്കെയും രക്ഷിപ്പാന്‍
9When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.
9ദൈവം ന്യായവിസ്താരത്തിന്നു എഴുന്നേറ്റപ്പോള്‍ ഭൂമി ഭയപ്പെട്ടു അമര്‍ന്നിരുന്നു. സേലാ.
10Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.
10മനുഷ്യന്റെ ക്രോധം നിന്നെ സ്തുതിക്കും നിശ്ചയം; ക്രോധശിഷ്ടത്തെ നീ അരെക്കു കെട്ടിക്കൊള്ളും.
11Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.
11നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേക്കു നേരുകയും നിവര്‍ത്തിക്കയും ചെയ്‍വിന്‍ ; അവന്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള എല്ലാവരും ഭയങ്കരനായവന്നു കാഴ്ചകൊണ്ടുവരട്ടെ.
12He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.
12അവന്‍ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെ പ്രാണനെ ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും; ഭൂമിയിലെ രാജാക്കന്മാര്‍ക്കും അവന്‍ ഭയങ്കരനാകുന്നു. സംഗീതപ്രമാണിക്കു; യെദൂഥൂന്യരാഗത്തില്‍; ആസാഫിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീര്‍ത്തനം.
