1Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.
1നമ്മുടെ ബലമായ ദൈവത്തിന്നു ഘോഷിപ്പിന്‍ ; യാക്കോബിന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു ആര്‍പ്പിടുവിന്‍ .
2Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.
2തപ്പും ഇമ്പമായുള്ള കിന്നരവു വീണയും എടുത്തു സംഗീതം തുടങ്ങുവിന്‍ .
3Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.
3അമാവാസ്യയിലും നമ്മുടെ ഉത്സവദിവസമായ പൌര്‍ണ്ണമാസിയിലും കാഹളം ഊതുവിന്‍ .
4For this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob.
4ഇതു യിസ്രായേലിന്നു ഒരു ചട്ടവും യാക്കോബിന്‍ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഒരു പ്രമാണവും ആകുന്നു.
5This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood not.

6I removed his shoulder from the burden: his hands were delivered from the pots.
6ഞാന്‍ അവന്റെ തോളില്‍നിന്നു ചുമടുനീക്കി; അവന്റെ കൈകള്‍ കൊട്ട വിട്ടു ഒഴിഞ്ഞു.
7Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder: I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah.
7കഷ്ടകാലത്തു നീ വിളിച്ചു, ഞാന്‍ നിന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു; ഇടിമുഴക്കത്തിന്റെ മറവില്‍നിന്നു ഞാന്‍ നിനക്കു ഉത്തരമരുളി; മെരീബാവെള്ളത്തിങ്കല്‍ ഞാന്‍ നിന്നെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു. സേലാ.
8Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me;
8എന്റെ ജനമേ, കേള്‍ക്ക, ഞാന്‍ നിന്നോടു സാക്ഷ്യം പറയും. യിസ്രായേലേ, നീ എന്റെ വാക്കു കേട്ടെങ്കില്‍ കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു.
9There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.
9അന്യദൈവം നിനക്കു ഉണ്ടാകരുതു; യാതൊരു അന്യദൈവത്തെയും നീ നമസ്കരിക്കരുതു.
10I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.
10മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു നിന്നെ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന യഹോവയായ ഞാന്‍ നിന്റെ ദൈവം ആകുന്നു; നിന്റെ വായ് വിസ്താരത്തില്‍ തുറക്ക; ഞാന്‍ അതിനെ നിറെക്കും.
11But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me.
11എന്നാല്‍ എന്റെ ജനം എന്റെ വാക്കു കേട്ടനുസരിച്ചില്ല. യിസ്രായേല്‍ എന്നെ കൂട്ടാക്കിയതുമില്ല.
12So I gave them up unto their own hearts' lust: and they walked in their own counsels.
12അതുകൊണ്ടു അവര്‍ സ്വന്ത ആലോചനപ്രകാരം നടക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന്‍ അവരെ ഹൃദയകാഠിന്യത്തിന്നു ഏല്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
13Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways!
13അയ്യോ എന്റെ ജനം എന്റെ വാക്കു കേള്‍ക്കയും യിസ്രായേല്‍ എന്റെ വഴികളില്‍ നടക്കയും ചെയ്തുവെങ്കില്‍ കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു.
14I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries.
14എന്നാല്‍ ഞാന്‍ വേഗത്തില്‍ അവരുടെ ശത്രുക്കളെ കീഴടക്കുമായിരുന്നു; അവരുടെ വൈരികളുടെ നേരെ എന്റെ കൈ തിരിക്കുമായിരുന്നു.
15The haters of the LORD should have submitted themselves unto him: but their time should have endured for ever.
15യഹോവയെ പകെക്കുന്നവര്‍ അവന്നു കീഴടങ്ങുമായിരുന്നു; എന്നാല്‍ ഇവരുടെ ശുഭകാലം എന്നേക്കും നിലക്കുമായിരുന്നു.
16He should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied thee.
16അവന്‍ മേത്തരമായ കോതമ്പുകൊണ്ടു അവരെ പോഷിപ്പിക്കുമായിരുന്നു; ഞാന്‍ പാറയില്‍നിന്നുള്ള തേന്‍ കൊണ്ടു നിനക്കു തൃപ്തിവരുത്തുമായിരുന്നു. (ആസാഫിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീര്‍ത്തനം.)
