1God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
1ദൈവം ദേവസഭയില്‍ നിലക്കുന്നു; അവന്‍ ദേവന്മാരുടെ ഇടയില്‍ ന്യായം വിധിക്കുന്നു.
2How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
2നിങ്ങള്‍ എത്രത്തോളം നീതികേടായി വിധിക്കയും ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ മുഖപക്ഷം പിടിക്കയും ചെയ്യും? സേലാ.
3Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
3എളിയവന്നും അനാഥന്നും ന്യായം പാലിച്ചുകൊടുപ്പിന്‍ ; പീഡിതന്നും അഗതിക്കും നീതി നടത്തിക്കൊടുപ്പിന്‍ .
4Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
4എളിയവനെയും ദരിദ്രനെയും രക്ഷിപ്പിന്‍ ; ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ കയ്യില്‍നിന്നു അവരെ വിടുവിപ്പിന്‍ .
5They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
5അവര്‍ക്കും അറിവില്ല, ബോധവുമില്ല; അവര്‍ ഇരുട്ടില്‍ നടക്കുന്നു; ഭൂമിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങള്‍ ഒക്കെയും ഇളകിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
6I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
6നിങ്ങള്‍ ദേവന്മാര്‍ ആകുന്നു എന്നും നിങ്ങള്‍ ഒക്കെയും അത്യുന്നതന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്‍ എന്നും ഞാന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.
7But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
7എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങള്‍ മനുഷ്യരെപ്പോലെ മരിക്കും; പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരില്‍ ഒരുത്തനെപ്പോലെ പട്ടുപോകും.
8Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
8ദൈവമേ, എഴുന്നേറ്റു ഭൂമിയെ വിധിക്കേണമേ; നീ സകലജാതികളെയും അവകാശമാക്കികൊള്ളുമല്ലോ. (ആസാഫിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീര്‍ത്തനം; ഒരു ഗീതം.)
