¹These are the sons of Israel; Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,

¹ اینها فرزندان یعقوب بودند: رئوبین، شمعون، لاوی، یهودا، یساکار، زبولون، دان، یوسف، بنیامین، نفتالی، جاد و اشیر.

²Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

² عیر، اونان و شیله پسران یهودا بودند که زنش، بتشوع کنعانی به دنیا آورد. عیر، پسر اول یهودا چون یک شخص شریر بود، خداوند او را کشت.

³The sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah: which three were born unto him of the daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, the firstborn of Judah, was evil in the sight of the LORD; and he slew him.

³ بیوهٔ عیر و یهودا صاحب دو پسر به نامهای فارص و زارح شدند، بنابراین یهودا دارای پنج پسر بود.

⁴And Tamar his daughter in law bore him Pharez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.

⁴ حصرون و حامول پسران فارص بودند.

⁵The sons of Pharez; Hezron, and Hamul.

⁵ زارح دارای پنج پسر به نامهای زمری، ایتان، هیمان، کلکول و دارع بود.

⁶And the sons of Zerah; Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara: five of them in all.

⁶ عاکار، پسر کرمی اشیایی را که وقف خداوند شده بودند، برای خود نگه داشت و در نتیجه، مصیبت بزرگی بر سر مردم اسرائیل آورد.

⁷And the sons of Carmi; Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the thing accursed.

⁷ عزریا پسر ایتان بود.

⁸And the sons of Ethan; Azariah.

⁸ یرحمئیل، رام و کلوبای پسران حصرون بودند.

⁹The sons also of Hezron, that were born unto him; Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.

⁹ رام پدر عمیناداب و عمیناداب پدر نحشون، رهبر طایفهٔ یهودا بود.

¹⁰And Ram begat Amminadab; and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;

¹⁰ نحشون پدر سلما و سلما پدر بوعز بود.

¹¹And Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz,

¹¹ بوعز پدر عوبید و عوبید پدر یَسی بود.

¹²And Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse,

¹² اولین پسر یَسی الیاب، دوّمی ابیناداب، سومی شمعه،

¹³And Jesse begat his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,

¹³ چهارمی نتنئیل، پنجمی ردای،

¹⁴Nethaneel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,

¹⁴ ششمی اوصم و هفتمی داوود بود.

¹⁵Ozem the sixth, David the seventh:

¹⁵ خواهرانشان صرویه و ابیجایل بودند. صرویه سه پسر به نامهای ابیشای، یوآب و عسائیل داشت.

¹⁶Whose sisters were Zeruiah, and Abigail. And the sons of Zeruiah; Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel, three.

¹⁶ ابیجایل با یتر اسماعیلی ازدواج نمود و عماسا را به دنیا آورد.

¹⁷And Abigail bare Amasa: and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmeelite.

¹⁷ کالیب، پسر حصرون از دو زن خود، عزوبه و یریعوت دارای سه پسر به نامهای یاشر، شوباب و اردون شد.

¹⁸And Caleb the son of Hezron begat children of Azubah his wife, and of Jerioth: her sons are these; Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.

¹⁸ وقتی عزوبه مُرد، کالیب با افرات عروسی کرد و افرات حور را به دنیا آورد.

¹⁹And when Azubah was dead, Caleb took unto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur.

¹⁹ حور پدر اوری و اوری پدر بصلئیل بود.

²⁰And Hur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezaleel.

²⁰ بعد حصرون در سن شصت سالگی با دختر ماخیر، پدر جلعاد عروسی کرد و از او صاحب یک پسر به نام سَجُوب شد.

²¹And afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he married when he was threescore years old; and she bare him Segub.

²¹ سجوب پدر یائیر بود و او بیست و سه شهر را در سرزمین جلعاد اداره می‌کرد،

²²And Segub begat Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gilead.

²² امّا جشور و ارام شهر یائیر را با قنات و شصت روستای اطراف آن تصرّف کردند. اشخاص مذکور همه پسران ماخیر، پدر جلعاد بودند.

²³And he took Geshur, and Aram, with the towns of Jair, from them, with Kenath, and the towns thereof, even threescore cities. All these belonged to the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.

²³ بعد از وفات حصرون در کالیب افراته، ابیه زن حصرون، اشحور، پدر تقوع را به دنیا آورد.

²⁴And after that Hezron was dead in Calebephratah, then Abiah Hezron's wife bare him Ashur the father of Tekoa.

²⁴ پسران یرحمئیل، عبارت بودند از: رام پسر اول، بونه، اورن، اوصم و اخیا.

²⁵And the sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron were, Ram the firstborn, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, and Ahijah.

²⁵ یرحمئیل یک زن دیگر هم به نام عطاره داشت و او مادر اونام بود.

²⁶Jerahmeel had also another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.

²⁶ معص، یامین و عاقر پسران رام،

²⁷And the sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel were, Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.

²⁷ شمای و یاداع پسران اونام و ناداب و ابیشور پسران شمای بودند.

²⁸And the sons of Onam were, Shammai, and Jada. And the sons of Shammai; Nadab and Abishur.

²⁸ نام زن ابیشور ابیحایل بود و او احبان و مولید را به دنیا آورد.

²⁹And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, and she bare him Ahban, and Molid.

²⁹ سَلَد و افایم پسران ناداب بودند. سلد بدون پسر از دنیا رفت.

³⁰And the sons of Nadab; Seled, and Appaim: but Seled died without children.

³⁰ یشعی پسر افایم، شیشان پسر یشعی و احلای پسر شیشان بود.

³¹And the sons of Appaim; Ishi. And the sons of Ishi; Sheshan. And the children of Sheshan; Ahlai.

³¹ یاداع، برادر شمای دو پسر داشت به نامهای یَتَر و یوناتان. یتر بدون فرزند مُرد.

³²And the sons of Jada the brother of Shammai; Jether, and Jonathan: and Jether died without children.

³² فالَت و زازا پسران یوناتان بودند. اشخاص نامبرده پسران یرحمئیل بودند.

³³And the sons of Jonathan; Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.

³³ شیشان پسری نداشت، امّا دارای چند دختر بود. او یک غلام مصری داشت که نام او یرحاع بود.

³⁴Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.

³⁴ شیشان دختر خود را به یرحاع داد و یرحاع دارای پسری شد به نام عتای.

³⁵And Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant to wife; and she bare him Attai.

³⁵ عتای پدر ناتان، ناتان پدر زاباد،

³⁶And Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad,

³⁶ زاباد پدر افلال، افلال پدر عوبید،

³⁷And Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat Obed,

³⁷ عوبید پدر ییهو، ییهو پدر عزریا،

³⁸And Obed begat Jehu, and Jehu begat Azariah,

³⁸ عزریا پدر حالص، حالص پدر العاسه،

³⁹And Azariah begat Helez, and Helez begat Eleasah,

³⁹ العاسه پدر سِسمای، سسمای پدر شلوم،

⁴⁰And Eleasah begat Sisamai, and Sisamai begat Shallum,

⁴⁰ شلوم پدر یقمیا و یقمیا پدر الیشمع بود.

⁴¹And Shallum begat Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begat Elishama.

⁴¹ پسران کالیب، برادر یرحمئیل: پسر اول او میشاع پدر زیف بود، زیف پدر ماریشه و ماریشه پدر حبرون بود.

⁴²Now the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were, Mesha his firstborn, which was the father of Ziph; and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.

⁴² قورح، تفوح، راقم و شامع پسران حبرون بودند.

⁴³And the sons of Hebron; Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.

⁴³ شامع پدر راحم، راحم پدر یرقعام و راقم برادر شامع، پدر شمای بود.

⁴⁴And Shema begat Raham, the father of Jorkoam: and Rekem begat Shammai.

⁴⁴ ماعون پسر شمای و بیت صور پسر ماعون بود.

⁴⁵And the son of Shammai was Maon: and Maon was the father of Bethzur.

⁴⁵ عیفا، صیغه کالیب، حاران، موصا و جازیز را به دنیا آورد. حاران نیز پسری به نام جازیز داشت.

⁴⁶And Ephah, Caleb's concubine, bare Haran, and Moza, and Gazez: and Haran begat Gazez.

⁴⁶ (راجَم، یوتام، جیشان، فالت، عیفا و شاعف پسران یهدای بودند.)

⁴⁷And the sons of Jahdai; Regem, and Jotham, and Gesham, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.

⁴⁷ معکه، صیغه دیگر کالیب، شابَر و تِرحَنَه را به دنیا آورد.

⁴⁸Maachah, Caleb's concubine, bare Sheber, and Tirhanah.

⁴⁸ او همچنین مادر شاعف، پدر مَدمَنه، شوا، پدر مَکْبینا و پدر جبعا بود و کالیب یک دختر هم به نام عکسه داشت.

⁴⁹She bare also Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea: and the daughter of Caleb was Achsa.

⁴⁹ اشخاص نامبرده پسران کالیب بودند. فرزندان حور، پسر اول افراته اینها بودند: شوبال، بانی شهر قریت یعاریم،

⁵⁰These were the sons of Caleb the son of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratah; Shobal the father of Kirjathjearim.

⁵⁰ سلما، بانی شهر بیت‌لحم و حاریف، بانی شهر بیت جادر.

⁵¹Salma the father of Bethlehem, Hareph the father of Bethgader.

⁵¹ فرزندان شوبال، بانی قریت یعاریم، هرواه و نصف خانوادهٔ منوحوت بودند.

⁵²And Shobal the father of Kirjathjearim had sons; Haroeh, and half of the Manahethites.

⁵² خاندانهایی که در قریت یعاریم زندگی می‌کردند اینها بودند؛ یتریان، فوتیان، سوماتیان، مشراعیان از ایشان خانواده‌های صارعاتیان و اِشطاولیان بوجود آمدند.

⁵³And the families of Kirjathjearim; the Ithrites, and the Puhites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; of them came the Zareathites, and the Eshtaulites,

⁵³ پسران سلما، بانی بیت‌لحم، جدّ نطوفاتیان، عطروت بیت یوآب، نصف مانحتیان و صرعیان. خاندانهایی که در نوشتن و نویسندگی مهارت داشتند و در یعبیص زندگی می‌کردند: ترهاتیان، شمعاتیان و سوکاتیان بودند. ایشان قینانیانی بودند که از نسل ریکاب فرزند حمات بودند.

⁵⁴The sons of Salma; Bethlehem, and the Netophathites, Ataroth, the house of Joab, and half of the Manahethites, the Zorites.

⁵⁴ خاندانهایی که در نوشتن و نویسندگی مهارت داشتند و در یعبیص زندگی می‌کردند: ترهاتیان، شمعاتیان و سوکاتیان بودند. ایشان قینانیانی بودند که از نسل ریکاب فرزند حمات بودند.

⁵⁵And the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.
