¹Now the sons of Issachar were, Tola, and Puah, Jashub, and Shimrom, four.

¹ یساکار چهار پسر داشت به نامهای تولاع، فوه، یاشوب و شمرون.

²And the sons of Tola; Uzzi, and Rephaiah, and Jeriel, and Jahmai, and Jibsam, and Shemuel, heads of their father's house, to wit, of Tola: they were valiant men of might in their generations; whose number was in the days of David two and twenty thousand and six hundred.

² عزی، رفایا، یریئیل، یحمای، یبسام و سموئیل پسران تولاع و همگی رؤسای خانواده و مردان دلاور زمان خود بودند. در دوران سلطنت داوود تعدادشان به بیست و دو هزار و ششصد نفر می‌رسید.

³And the sons of Uzzi; Izrahiah: and the sons of Izrahiah; Michael, and Obadiah, and Joel, Ishiah, five: all of them chief men.

³ یزرحیا پسر عزی بود و از جمله چهار پسر یزرحیا: میکائیل، عوبدیا، یوئیل و یشیا رؤسای خانواده‌های خود بودند.

⁴And with them, by their generations, after the house of their fathers, were bands of soldiers for war, six and thirty thousand men: for they had many wives and sons.

⁴ تعداد همسران و فرزندان ایشان به قدری زیاد بود که سی و شش هزار نفر مرد برای خدمت سربازی آماده داشتند.

⁵And their brethren among all the families of Issachar were valiant men of might, reckoned in all by their genealogies fourscore and seven thousand.

⁵ در آمار رسمی خانواده‌های طایفهٔ یساکار هشتاد و هفت هزار نفر مرد آماده خدمت سربازی ثبت شدند.

⁶The sons of Benjamin; Bela, and Becher, and Jediael, three.

⁶ بالع، باکر و یدیئیل سه پسر بنیامین بودند.

⁷And the sons of Bela; Ezbon, and Uzzi, and Uzziel, and Jerimoth, and Iri, five; heads of the house of their fathers, mighty men of valor; and were reckoned by their genealogies twenty and two thousand and thirty and four.

⁷ بالع پنج پسر داشت، اصبون، عزی، عُزیئیل، یریموت و عیری ایشان رؤسای خاندان و رزمندگان مشهوری بودند. نسل آنها شامل بیست و دو هزار و سی و چهار مرد آماده به خدمت سربازی می‌شد.

⁸And the sons of Becher; Zemira, and Joash, and Eliezer, and Elioenai, and Omri, and Jerimoth, and Abiah, and Anathoth, and Alameth. All these are the sons of Becher.

⁸ زمیره، یوعاش، الیعزر، الیوعینای، عُمری، یریموت، ابیا، عناتوت و علمت پسران باکر بودند.

⁹And the number of them, after their genealogy by their generations, heads of the house of their fathers, mighty men of valor, was twenty thousand and two hundred.

⁹ در آمار رسمی خاندان ایشان بیست هزار و دویست مرد آماده خدمت سربازی ثبت شده است.

¹⁰The sons also of Jediael; Bilhan: and the sons of Bilhan; Jeush, and Benjamin, and Ehud, and Chenaanah, and Zethan, and Tharshish, and Ahishahar.

¹⁰ بلهان پسر یدیئیل بود و یعیش، بنیامین، ایهود، کنعنه، زیتان، ترشیش و اخیشاحر پسران بلهان بودند.

¹¹All these the sons of Jediael, by the heads of their fathers, mighty men of valor, were seventeen thousand and two hundred soldiers, fit to go out for war and battle.

¹¹ ایشان رهبران خانواده‌ها در خاندان و همهٔ سربازان مشهوری بودند. نسل آنها شامل هفده هزار و دویست مرد آماده به خدمت سربازی می‌شد.

¹²Shuppim also, and Huppim, the children of Ir, and Hushim, the sons of Aher.

¹² شفیم و حفیم پسران عیر و حشیم پسر احیر بود.

¹³The sons of Naphtali; Jahziel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shallum, the sons of Bilhah.

¹³ یحصیئیل، جونی، یصر و شلوم پسران نفتالی بودند. مادربزرگشان بلهه نام داشت.

¹⁴The sons of Manasseh; Ashriel, whom she bare: (but his concubine the Aramitess bare Machir the father of Gilead:

¹⁴ اسرائیل و ماخیر پسران منسی بودند که صیغهٔ آرامی‌اش به دنیا آورد. ماخیر پدر جلعاد بود.

¹⁵And Machir took to wife the sister of Huppim and Shuppim, whose sister's name was Maachah;) and the name of the second was Zelophehad: and Zelophehad had daughters.

¹⁵ ماخیر برای حفیم و شفیم همسرانی پیدا کرد. او خواهری داشت به نام معکه. نام پسر دوم او صلفحاد بود که او تنها چند دختر داشت.

¹⁶And Maachah the wife of Machir bare a son, and she called his name Peresh; and the name of his brother was Sheresh; and his sons were Ulam and Rakem.

¹⁶ معکه، زن ماخیر پسری به دنیا آورد و او را فارش نامید و برادرش شارش نام داشت که دارای دو پسر به نامهای اولام و راقم بود.

¹⁷And the sons of Ulam; Bedan. These were the sons of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh.

¹⁷ بدان پسر اولام بود و اینها فرزندان جلعاد پسر ماخیر و نوه منسی بودند.

¹⁸And his sister Hammoleketh bare Ishod, and Abiezer, and Mahalah.

¹⁸ ایشهود، ابیعزر و محله پسران همولکه، خواهر ماخیر بودند.

¹⁹And the sons of Shemidah were, Ahian, and Shechem, and Likhi, and Aniam.

¹⁹ اخیام، شکیم، لقحی و انیعام پسران شمیداع بودند.

²⁰And the sons of Ephraim; Shuthelah, and Bered his son, and Tahath his son, and Eladah his son, and Tahath his son,

²⁰ فرزندان افرایم، نسل به نسل به این قرار بودند: شوتالح، بارَد، تَحَت، العادا، تحت،

²¹And Zabad his son, and Shuthelah his son, and Ezer, and Elead, whom the men of Gath that were born in that land slew, because they came down to take away their cattle.

²¹ زاباد، شوتالح، عازر و العاد. افرایم دو پسر دیگر به نامهای العاد و عازر داشت که هنگام سرقت گلّهٔ جتی‌ها به دست افراد محلی کشته شدند.

²²And Ephraim their father mourned many days, and his brethren came to comfort him.

²² افرایم، پدرشان برای چندین روز به‌خاطر آنها سوگواری کرد و برادرانش برای تسلیّت او آمدند.

²³And when he went in to his wife, she conceived, and bare a son, and he called his name Beriah, because it went evil with his house.

²³ افرایم دوباره با زنش نزدیکی کرد و همسرش حامله شد و پسری به دنیا آورد. ایشان او را به یاد آن مصیبت، بریعه یعنی فاجعه نام نهادند.

²⁴(And his daughter was Sherah, who built Bethhoron the nether, and the upper, and Uzzensherah.)

²⁴ دختر او شیره نام داشت که شهرهای بیت حورون بالا و پایین و اُزین شیره را ساخت.

²⁵And Rephah was his son, also Resheph, and Telah his son, and Tahan his son.

²⁵ این است سلسلهٔ نسل افرایم: رافح پسرش بود؛ رافح پدر راشف، راشف پدر تالح، تالح پدر تاحن، تاحن پدر لعدان، لعدان پدر عمیهود، عمیهود پدر الیشمع، الیشمع پدر نون و نون پدر یهوشوع بود.

²⁶Laadan his son, Ammihud his son, Elishama his son.

²⁶ سرزمین و جای سکونت آنها بیت‌ئیل و روستاهای اطراف آن، نعران در شرق، جازر، شکیم و غزه با روستاهای اطراف آنها در غرب بودند.

²⁷Non his son, Jehoshuah his son.

²⁷ در امتداد سرحد طایفهٔ منسی، در شهرهای بیت‌شان، تعناک، مجدو، دور و روستاهای اطراف آنها نسل یوسف، پسر اسرائیل زندگی می‌کرد.

²⁸And their possessions and habitations were, Bethel and the towns thereof, and eastward Naaran, and westward Gezer, with the towns thereof; Shechem also and the towns thereof, unto Gaza and the towns thereof:

²⁸ یمنه، یشوه، یشوی و بریعه پسران اشیر بودند. خواهرشان سارح نام داشت.

²⁹And by the borders of the children of Manasseh, Bethshean and her towns, Taanach and her towns, Megiddo and her towns, Dor and her towns. In these dwelt the children of Joseph the son of Israel.

²⁹ حابَر و ملکیئیل پدر برزاوَت پسران بریعه بودند.

³⁰The sons of Asher; Imnah, and Isuah, and Ishuai, and Beriah, and Serah their sister.

³⁰ یفلیط، شومیر و حوتام پسران حابر بودند و دخترش شوعا نام داشت.

³¹And the sons of Beriah; Heber, and Malchiel, who is the father of Birzavith.

³¹ فاسَک، بمهال و عَشوَت پسران یفلیط بودند.

³²And Heber begat Japhlet, and Shomer, and Hotham, and Shua their sister.

³² احی، رُهجه، یَحبَه و ارام پسران برادرش، شومیر بودند.

³³And the sons of Japhlet; Pasach, and Bimhal, and Ashvath. These are the children of Japhlet.

³³ صوفح، یمناع، شالَش و عامال پسران برادرش، هیلام بودند.

³⁴And the sons of Shamer; Ahi, and Rohgah, Jehubbah, and Aram.

³⁴ سوح، حَرنَفر، شوعال، بیری، یمره،

³⁵And the sons of his brother Helem; Zophah, and Imna, and Shelesh, and Amal.

³⁵ باصر، هود، شمَّا، شَلَشَه، یتران و بئیرا پسران صوفح بودند.

³⁶The sons of Zophah; Suah, and Harnepher, and Shual, and Beri, and Imrah,

³⁶ یفنه، فِسفا و ارا پسران یتران،

³⁷Bezer, and Hod, and Shamma, and Shilshah, and Ithran, and Beera.

³⁷ آرح، حنیئیل و رصیا پسران عُلا بودند. همهٔ ایشان فرزندان اشیر بودند. ایشان سران خانواده‌های جنگاوران مشهور و رهبران برجسته بودند. نسل اشیر بیست و شش‌هزار نفر سرباز آماده به خدمت نظام داشت.

³⁸And the sons of Jether; Jephunneh, and Pispah, and Ara.

³⁸ همهٔ ایشان فرزندان اشیر بودند. ایشان سران خانواده‌های جنگاوران مشهور و رهبران برجسته بودند. نسل اشیر بیست و شش‌هزار نفر سرباز آماده به خدمت نظام داشت.

³⁹And the sons of Ulla; Arah, and Haniel, and Rezia.

⁴⁰All these were the children of Asher, heads of their father's house, choice and mighty men of valor, chief of the princes. And the number throughout the genealogy of them that were apt to the war and to battle was twenty and six thousand men.
