¹Now Benjamin begat Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third,

¹ پسران بنیامین اینها بودند: اولی بالع، دوّمی اشبیل، سومی اخرخ،

²Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.

² چهارمی نوحه و پنجمی رافا.

³And the sons of Bela were, Addar, and Gera, and Abihud,

³ ادّار، جیرا، ابیهود،

⁴And Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahoah,

⁴ ابیشوع، نعمان، اخوخ،

⁵And Gera, and Shephuphan, and Huram.

⁵ جیرا، شفوفان و حورام پسران بالع بودند.

⁶And these are the sons of Ehud: these are the heads of the fathers of the inhabitants of Geba, and they removed them to Manahath:

⁶ پسران احود که رؤسای خانواده‌های خود بودند، در جبعه سکونت می‌کردند. آنها در جنگ دستگیر و به مناحت تبعید شدند.

⁷And Naaman, and Ahiah, and Gera, he removed them, and begat Uzza, and Ahihud.

⁷ نامهای آنها نعمان، اخیا و جیرا بودند. جیرا پدر عزا و اخیحود بود.

⁸And Shaharaim begat children in the country of Moab, after he had sent them away; Hushim and Baara were his wives.

⁸ شحرایم زنهای خود، حوشیم و بعرا را طلاق داد،

⁹And he begat of Hodesh his wife, Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcham,

⁹ سپس وقتی در سرزمین موآب زندگی می‌کرد با خوداش ازدواج نمود و دارای هفت پسر شد. نامهایشان یوباب، ظیبا، میشاع، مَلکام،

¹⁰And Jeuz, and Shachia, and Mirma. These were his sons, heads of the fathers.

¹⁰ بعوص، شکیا و مرمه و همهٔ آنها رؤسای خانواده‌های خود بودند.

¹¹And of Hushim he begat Abitub, and Elpaal.

¹¹ از یک زن دیگر خود که حوشیم نام داشت، صاحب دو پسر به نامهای ابیطوب و الفعل شد.

¹²The sons of Elpaal; Eber, and Misham, and Shamed, who built Ono, and Lod, with the towns thereof:

¹² عابر، مشعام و شامر پسران الفعل بودند. شامر شهرهای اونو و لود را با روستاهای اطراف آنها آباد کرد.

¹³Beriah also, and Shema, who were heads of the fathers of the inhabitants of Aijalon, who drove away the inhabitants of Gath:

¹³ پسران دیگرش بریعه و سامع رؤسای خانواده بودند و در ایلون سکونت داشتند و آنها بودند که ساکنان جت را از وطنشان اخراج کردند.

¹⁴And Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth,

¹⁴ اخیو، شاشق، یریموت،

¹⁵And Zebadiah, and Arad, and Ader,

¹⁵ زَبَدیا، عارد، عادر،

¹⁶And Michael, and Ispah, and Joha, the sons of Beriah;

¹⁶ میکائیل، یشفه و یوخا پسران بریعه بودند.

¹⁷And Zebadiah, and Meshullam, and Hezeki, and Heber,

¹⁷ زَبَدیا، مَشلام، حزقی، حابر،

¹⁸Ishmerai also, and Jezliah, and Jobab, the sons of Elpaal;

¹⁸ یَشمَرای، یزلیا و یوباب پسران الفعل بودند.

¹⁹And Jakim, and Zichri, and Zabdi,

¹⁹ یعقیم، زِکری، زبدی،

²⁰And Elienai, and Zilthai, and Eliel,

²⁰ الیعینای، صلتای، ایلی‌ئیل،

²¹And Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath, the sons of Shimhi;

²¹ ادایا، برایا و شِمرَت پسران شمعی بودند.

²²And Ishpan, and Heber, and Eliel,

²² یشفان، عابر، ایلی‌ئیل،

²³And Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan,

²³ عبدون، زکری، حانان،

²⁴And Hananiah, and Elam, and Antothijah,

²⁴ حننیا، عیلام، عَنتوتیا،

²⁵And Iphedeiah, and Penuel, the sons of Shashak;

²⁵ یفدیا و فنوئیل پسران شاشق بودند.

²⁶And Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah,

²⁶ شمشرای، شحریا، عتلیا،

²⁷And Jaresiah, and Eliah, and Zichri, the sons of Jeroham.

²⁷ یعرشیا، ایلیا و زکری پسران یرحام بودند.

²⁸These were heads of the fathers, by their generations, chief men. These dwelt in Jerusalem.

²⁸ اینها همه رؤسای خانواده‌های خود بودند و در اورشلیم سکونت داشتند.

²⁹And at Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon; whose wife's name was Maachah:

²⁹ یعی‌ئیل، بانی جبعون، در جبعون زندگی می‌کرد و نام زنش معکه بود.

³⁰And his firstborn son Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab,

³⁰ پسر اول او عبدون و پسران دیگرش صور، قیس، بعل، ناداب،

³¹And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zacher.

³¹ جدور، اخیو، زکریا،

³²And Mikloth begat Shimeah. And these also dwelt with their brethren in Jerusalem, over against them.

³² و مقلوت که پدر شماه بود در اورشلیم با خویشاوندان خود یک‌‌جا زندگی می‌کردند.

³³And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal.

³³ نیر، پدر قیس، قیس پدر شائول پادشاه و شائول پادشاه پدر یوناتان، ملکیشوع، ابیناداب و اشبعل بود.

³⁴And the son of Jonathan was Meribbaal; and Meribbaal begat Micah.

³⁴ یوناتان پدر مریب بعل و مریب بعل پدر میکا بود.

³⁵And the sons of Micah were, Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz.

³⁵ فیتون، مالَک، تحریع و آحاز پسران میکا بودند.

³⁶And Ahaz begat Jehoadah; and Jehoadah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza,

³⁶ آحاز پدر یهوعده و یهوعده پدر علمت، عزموت و زمری بود. زمری پدر موصا

³⁷And Moza begat Binea: Rapha was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son:

³⁷ و موصا پدر بنعا، بنعا پدر رافه، رافه پدر العاسه و العاسه پدر آصیل بود.

³⁸And Azel had six sons, whose names are these, Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.

³⁸ آصیل دارای شش پسر به نامهای عَزریقام، بُکرو، اسماعیل، شعریا، عوبدیا و حانان بودند.

³⁹And the sons of Eshek his brother were, Ulam his firstborn, Jehush the second, and Eliphelet the third.

³⁹ برادر او، عیشق سه پسر داشت: اولی اولام، دوّمی یعوش و سومی الیفلط بود. پسران اولام مردان نیرومند، شجاع و تیراندازانی ماهر بودند. این مردان یکصد و پنجاه پسر و نوه داشتند و از طایفهٔ بنیامین بودند.

⁴⁰And the sons of Ulam were mighty men of valor, archers, and had many sons, and sons' sons, an hundred and fifty. All these are of the sons of Benjamin.

⁴⁰ پسران اولام مردان نیرومند، شجاع و تیراندازانی ماهر بودند. این مردان یکصد و پنجاه پسر و نوه داشتند و از طایفهٔ بنیامین بودند.
