¹I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.

¹ خداوند را دوست دارم، زیرا او دعا و التماس مرا می‌شنود.

²Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.

² او به دعای من گوش می‌دهد، پس تا پایان عمرم به درگاهش دعا خواهم كرد.

³The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.

³ خطر مرگ از هر سو مرا احاطه کرد و فکر رفتن به گور مرا به وحشت انداخت و درد و رنج وجودم را فراگرفت.

⁴Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.

⁴ آنگاه به حضور خداوند دعا کردم و گفتم: «خداوندا، از تو تمنّا می‌کنم که مرا نجات بده!»

⁵Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

⁵ خداوند نیکو و مهربان است، خدای ما بسیار رحیم است.

⁶The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

⁶ خداوند از بینوایان حمایت می‌کند. وقتی من در خطر بودم او نجاتم داد.

⁷Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.

⁷ ای جان من اکنون آرام باش، زیرا خداوند با من مهربان است.

⁸For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

⁸ خداوند مرا از مرگ نجات بخشید و اشک را از چشمانم پاک کرد و پاهایم را از لغزش نگاه داشت.

⁹I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.

⁹ پس تا زنده‌ام در حضور خداوند راه خواهم رفت.

¹⁰I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:

¹⁰ حتّی وقتی به خود گفتم که من بکلّی نابود شده‌ام و در نهایت ترس گفتم که بر هیچ‌کس نباید اعتماد کرد، ایمان خود را حفظ نمودم.

¹¹I said in my haste, All men are liars.

¹¹ در مقابل تمام احسانهای خداوند چه چیز به او تقدیم کنم؟

¹²What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?

¹² پیالهٔ نجات را بر خواهم داشت و نام خداوند را سپاس خواهم گفت.

¹³I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.

¹³ آنچه را که برای خداوند نذر کرده بودم، در حضور همهٔ مردم به او ادا خواهم کرد.

¹⁴I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

¹⁴ مرگ مؤمنین برای خداوند بسیار ناگوار است.

¹⁵Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

¹⁵ خداوندا، من بندهٔ تو، پسر تو و فرزند کنیز تو هستم، تو مرا از بندهایم رهایی دادی.

¹⁶O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.

¹⁶ پس قربانی شکرگزاری به پیشگاهت تقدیم خواهم كرد و نام تو را ستایش خواهم كرد. در معبد بزرگ تو در اورشلیم و در حضور همهٔ قوم تو نذرهای خود را به تو ادا خواهم کرد. خداوند را سپاس باد!

¹⁷I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.

¹⁷ در معبد بزرگ تو در اورشلیم و در حضور همهٔ قوم تو نذرهای خود را به تو ادا خواهم کرد. خداوند را سپاس باد!

¹⁸I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

¹⁹In the courts of the LORD's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
