¹The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

¹ زمین و هرچه در آن است از آن خداوند است. جهان و همهٔ موجودات آن به او تعلّق دارد.

²For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

² او اساس آن را بر دریاها قرار داد و آن را بر رودخانه‌ها بنا کرد.

³Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?

³ چه کسی می‌تواند به بالای کوه خداوند برود و به درگاه مقدّس او داخل شود؟

⁴He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

⁴ کسی‌که كردار و پندارش پاک باشد. کسی‌که بت‌پرستی نمی‌کند و قسم دروغ نمی‌خورد.

⁵He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

⁵ خداوند آنان را برکت می‌دهد و نجات می‌بخشد، و خدا آنان را بی‌گناه محسوب خواهد نمود.

⁶This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.

⁶ ایشان طالب خدا و مشتاق دیدار خدای یعقوب می‌باشند.

⁷Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

⁷ ای دروازه‌ها و ای درهای قدیمی باز شوید تا پادشاه جلال داخل شود.

⁸Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

⁸ این پادشاه جلال کیست؟ او خداوند قادر متعال است! که در جنگها شکست نمی‌خورد.

⁹Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

⁹ ای دروازه‌ها به کنار بروید، و ای درهای کهن باز شوید. تا پادشاه جلال داخل شود. این پادشاه جلال کیست؟ او خداوند متعال است! او خداوند شکست ناپذیر است!
