¹The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

¹ خداوند پادشاه است. او به شوکت و اقتدار آراسته است. زمین را محکم در جای خود استوار نمود و جنبش نخواهد خورد.

²Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.

² تخت تو از ابتدا برقرار بوده و تو از ازل بوده‌ای.

³The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.

³ ای خداوند، اقیانوسها می‌خروشند و دریاها طغیان می‌کنند.

⁴The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.

⁴ خداوند که در آسمانها حکومت می‌کند، قویتر از امواج خروشان اقیانوسها و طغیان دریاها می‌باشد. ای خداوند، احکام تو مطمئن و معبد بزرگ تو تا ابدالآباد مقدّس است.

⁵Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.
