¹O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

¹ بیایید خداوند را بسراییم و برای او که پشتیبان و نجات‌دهندهٔ ماست، آواز شادمانی سر دهیم.

²Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

² با شکرگزاری به پیشگاه او بیاییم و با سراییدن سرودهای شاد، او را پرستش نماییم.

³For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

³ زیرا خداوند، خدای متعال است، پادشاه بزرگ بر تمام خدایان.

⁴In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.

⁴ او فرمانروای سراسر زمین است، از اعماق اقیانوسها تا فراز بلندترین قلّه‌ها.

⁵The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

⁵ زمین و دریاها همه به او تعلّق دارند زیرا که او آنها را ساخته است.

⁶O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

⁶ بیایید در پیشگاه او، سرِ تعظیم فرود آوریم و او را بپرستیم، بیایید در حضور او زانو بزنیم، زیرا که او ما را آفریده است.

⁷For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

⁷ او خدای ما و ما قوم او هستیم، ما گلّهٔ او و او شبان ماست. به آنچه او امروز می‌گوید، گوش کنید:

⁸Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

⁸ «مانند اجدادتان در بیابان مریبا و مسّا، تمرّد نکنید.

⁹When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.

⁹ آنها در آنجا مرا امتحان کردند، درحالی‌که همهٔ كارهایی را که انجام داده بودم، با چشمان خود دیده بودند.

¹⁰Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:

¹⁰ مدّت چهل سال از آنها بیزار بودم و گفتم: این مردم ذاتاً گمراه هستند و از دستورات من سرپیچی می‌کنند! در خشم سوگند یاد کردم که آنها به آرامی من نخواهند رسید.»

¹¹Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

¹¹ در خشم سوگند یاد کردم که آنها به آرامی من نخواهند رسید.»
