¹The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.

¹ خداوند سلطنت می‌کند، پس زمین شادی کند و جزیره‌ها مسرور گردند.

²Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.

² ابرها و تاریکی او را احاطه کرده‌اند. سلطنت او بر عدالت و انصاف استوار است.

³A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.

³ آتش، پیشاپیش او حرکت می‌کند و تمام دشمنانش را از هرسو می‌سوزاند.

⁴His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.

⁴ برقهایش جهان را روشن می‌کند و زمین آن را می‌بیند و می‌لرزد.

⁵The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

⁵ کوهها در مقابل خداوند سراسر زمین، مانند موم آب می‌شوند.

⁶The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

⁶ آسمانها عدالت او را اعلام می‌کنند و همهٔ اقوام جهان جلال او را مشاهده می‌کنند.

⁷Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods.

⁷ تمام بت‌پرستان شرمنده می‌شوند. ای تمامی خدایان، در مقابل خداوند زانو بزنید.

⁸Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O LORD.

⁸ ای خداوند، به‌خاطر داوری‌های تو مردم صهیون شادمان هستند و اهالی یهودا شادی می‌کنند.

⁹For thou, LORD, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.

⁹ زیرا تو ای خداوند متعال، فرمانروای سراسر زمین و بالاتر از تمام خدایان هستی.

¹⁰Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

¹⁰ خداوند آنانی را که از شرارت نفرت دارند، دوست می‌دارد. او جان مؤمنین خود را حفظ می‌کند و آنها را از دست شریر نجات می‌دهد.

¹¹Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

¹¹ نور خدا بر مردمان صالح می‌تابد و شادمانی نصیب نیکوکاران می‌گردد. شما ای نیکوکاران، به‌خاطر آنچه خدای مقدّس انجام داده است، شادی نمایید. کارهای خداوند را به یاد آورید و او را شکر نمایید.

¹²Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
