¹And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand.

¹Isus a intrat din nou în sinagogă. Acolo se afla un om cu mîna uscată.

²And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.

²Ei pîndeau pe Isus să vadă dacă -l va vindeca în ziua Sabatului, ca să -L poată învinui.

³And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth.

³Şi Isus a zis omului, care avea mîna uscată: ,,Scoală-te, şi stai la mijloc!``

⁴And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.

⁴Apoi le -a zis: ,,Este îngăduit în ziua Sabatului să faci bine sau să faci rău? Să scapi viaţa cuiva sau s'o pierzi?`` Dar ei tăceau.

⁵And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

⁵Atunci, rotindu-Şi privirile cu mînie peste ei, şi mîhnit de împietrirea inimii lor, a zis omului: ,,Întinde-ţi mîna!`` El a întins -o, şi mîna i s'a făcut sănătoasă.

⁶And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.

⁶Fariseii au ieşit afară, şi s'au sfătuit îndată cu Irodianii cum să -L piardă.

⁷But Jesus withdrew himself with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Judaea,

⁷Isus S'a dus cu ucenicii Săi la mare. După El a mers o mare mulţime de oameni din Galileia; şi o mare mulţime de oameni din Iudea,

⁸And from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came unto him.

⁸din Ierusalim, din Idumea, de dincolo de Iordan, şi dimprejurul Tirului şi Sidonului, cînd a auzit tot ce făcea, a venit la El.

⁹And he spake to his disciples, that a small ship should wait on him because of the multitude, lest they should throng him.

⁹Isus a poruncit ucenicilor să -I ţină la îndemînă o corăbioară, ca să nu fie îmbulzit de norod.

¹⁰For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues.

¹⁰Căci El vindeca pe mulţi şi de aceea toţi cei ce aveau boli, se înghesuiau spre El ca să se atingă de El.

¹¹And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.

¹¹Duhurile necurate, cînd Îl vedeau, cădeau la pămînt înaintea Lui, şi strigau: ,,Tu eşti Fiul lui Dumnezeu.``

¹²And he straitly charged them that they should not make him known.

¹²Dar El le poruncea îndată cu totdinadinsul să nu -L facă cunoscut.

¹³And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him.

¹³În urmă, Isus S'a suit pe munte; a chemat la El pe cine a vrut, şi ei au venit la El.

¹⁴And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,

¹⁴A rînduit dintre ei doisprezece, ca să -i aibă cu Sine, şi să -i trimeată să propovăduiască.

¹⁵And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:

¹⁵Le -a dat şi putere să vindece boalele şi să scoată dracii.

¹⁶And Simon he surnamed Peter;

¹⁶Iată cei doisprezece, pe cari i -a rînduit: Simon, căruia i -a pus numele Petru;

¹⁷And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:

¹⁷Iacov, fiul lui Zebedei, şi Ioan, fratele lui Iacov, cărora le -a pus numele Boanerghes, care, tîlmăcit, înseamnă: ,,Fiii tunetului;``

¹⁸And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite,

¹⁸Andrei; Filip; Bartolomeu; Matei; Toma; Iacov, fiul lui Alfeu; Tadeu; Simon Cananitul,

¹⁹And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.

¹⁹şi Iuda Iscarioteanul, care L -a şi vîndut.

²⁰And the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.

²⁰Au venit în casă, şi s'a adunat din nou norodul, aşa că nu puteau nici măcar să prînzească.

²¹And when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself.

²¹Rudele lui Isus, cînd au auzit cele ce se petreceau, au venit să pună mîna pe El. Căci ziceau: ,,Şi -a ieşit din minţi.``

²²And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.

²²Şi cărturarii, cari se pogorîseră din Ierusalim, ziceau: ,,Este stăpînit de Beelzebul; scoate dracii cu ajutorul domnului dracilor.``

²³And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?

²³Isus i -a chemat la El, şi le -a zis, în pilde: ,,Cum poate Satana să scoată afară pe Satana?

²⁴And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.

²⁴Dacă o împărăţie este desbinată împotriva ei însăş, împărăţia aceea nu poate dăinui.

²⁵And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.

²⁵Şi dacă o casă este desbinată împotriva ei însăş, casa aceea nu poate dăinui.

²⁶And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.

²⁶Tot astfel, dacă Satana se răscoală împotriva lui însuş, este desbinat, şi nu poate dăinui, ci s'a isprăvit cu el.

²⁷No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.

²⁷Nimeni nu poate să intre în casa unui om tare şi să -i jăfuiască gospodăria, decît dacă a legat mai întîi pe omul acela tare; numai atunci îi va jăfui casa.

²⁸Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:

²⁸Adevărat vă spun că toate păcatele şi toate hulele, pe cari le vor rosti oamenii, li se vor ierta;

²⁹But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.

²⁹dar oricine va huli împotriva Duhului Sfînt, nu va căpăta iertare în veac: ci este vinovat de un păcat vecinic.``

³⁰Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.

³⁰Aceasta, pentrucă ei ziceau: ,,Are un duh necurat.``

³¹There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him.

³¹Atunci au venit mama şi fraţii Lui, şi, stînd afară, au trimes să -L cheme.

³²And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee.

³²Mulţimea şedea în jurul Lui, cînd I-au spus: ,,Iată că mama Ta şi fraţii Tăi sînt afară şi Te caută.``

³³And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren?

³³El a răspuns: ,,Cine este mama Mea, şi fraţii Mei?``

³⁴And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!

³⁴Apoi, aruncîndu-Şi privirile peste cei ce şedeau împrejurul Lui: ,,Iată,`` a zis El, ,,mama Mea şi fraţii Mei!

³⁵For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

³⁵Căci oricine face voia lui Dumnezeu, acela Îmi este frate, soră şi mamă.``
