¹In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

¹La sfîrşitul zilei Sabatului, cînd începea să se lumineze în spre ziua dintîi a săptămînii, Maria Magdalina şi cealaltă Marie au venit să vadă mormîntul.

²And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

²Şi iatăcă s'a făcut un mare cutremur de pămînt; căci un înger al Domnului s'a pogorît din cer, a venit şi a prăvălit piatra dela uşa mormîntului, şi a şezut pe ea.

³His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:

³Înfăţişarea lui era ca fulgerul, şi îmbrăcămintea lui albă ca zăpada.

⁴And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.

⁴Străjerii au tremurat de frica lui, şi au rămas ca nişte morţi.

⁵And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.

⁵Dar îngerul a luat cuvîntul, şi a zis femeilor: ,,Nu vă temeţi; căci ştiu că voi căutaţi pe Isus, care a fost răstignit.

⁶He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

⁶Nu este aici; a înviat, după cum zisese. Veniţi de vedeţi locul unde zăcea Domnul;

⁷And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.

⁷şi duceţi-vă repede de spuneţi ucenicilor Lui că a înviat dintre cei morţi. Iată că El merge înaintea voastră în Galilea; acolo Îl veţi vedea. Iată că v'am spus lucrul acesta.``

⁸And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.

⁸Ele au plecat repede de la mormînt, cu frică şi cu mare bucurie, şi au alergat să dea de veste ucenicilor Lui.

⁹And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.

⁹Dar iată că le -a întîmpinat Isus, şi le -a zis: ,,Bucuraţi-vă!`` Ele s'au apropiat să -I cuprindă picioarele, şi I s'au închinat.

¹⁰Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.

¹⁰Atunci Isus le -a zis: ,,Nu vă temeţi; duceţi-vă de spuneţi fraţilor Mei să meargă în Galilea: acolo Mă vor vedea.``

¹¹Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.

¹¹Pe cînd se duceau ele, au intrat în cetate unii din străjeri, şi au dat de veste preoţilor celor mai de seamă despre toate cele întîmplate.

¹²And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,

¹²Aceştia s'au adunat împreună cu bătrînii, au ţinut sfat, au dat ostaşilor mulţi bani,

¹³Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.

¹³şi le-au zis: ,,Spuneţi aşa: ,Ucenicii Lui au venit noaptea, pe cînd dormeam noi, şi L-au furat.`

¹⁴And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.

¹⁴Şi dacă va ajunge lucrul acesta la urechile dregătorului, îl vom potoli noi, şi vă vom scăpa de grijă.``

¹⁵So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.

¹⁵Ostaşii au luat banii, şi au făcut cum i-au învăţat. Şi s'a răspîndit zvonul acesta printre Iudei pînă în ziua de astăzi.

¹⁶Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.

¹⁶Cei unsprezece ucenici s'au dus în Galilea, în muntele unde le poruncise Isus să meargă.

¹⁷And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.

¹⁷Cînd L-au văzut ei, I s'au închinat, dar unii s'au îndoit.

¹⁸And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

¹⁸Isus S'a apropiat de ei, a vorbit cu ei, şi le -a zis: ,,Toată puterea Mi -a fost dată în cer şi pe pămînt.

¹⁹Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

¹⁹Duceţi-vă şi faceţi ucenici din toate neamurile, botezîndu -i în Numele Tatălui şi al Fiului şi al Sfîntului Duh.

²⁰Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

²⁰Şi învăţaţi -i să păzească tot ce v'am poruncit. Şi iată că Eu sînt cu voi în toate zilele, pînă la sfîrşitul veacului. Amin
