¹Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.

¹(O cîntare a treptelor.) Ferice de oricine se teme de Domnul, şi umblă pe căile Lui!

²For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

²Căci atunci te bucuri de lucrul mînilor tale, eşti fericit, şi-ţi merge bine.

³Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.

³Nevastă-ta este ca o viţă roditoare înlăuntrul casei tale; copiii tăi stau ca nişte lăstari de măslin împrejurul mesei tale.

⁴Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.

⁴Aşa este binecuvîntat omul care se teme de Domnul.

⁵The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.

⁵Să te binecuvînteze Domnul din Sion, să vezi fericirea Ierusalimului, în toate zilele vieţii tale,

⁶Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel.

⁶şi să vezi pe copiii copiilor tăi! Pacea să fie peste Israel!
