2Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
2Dobroreč, moja duša, Hospodinovi, a nezabudni niktorého zo všetkých jeho dobrodení,
3Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
3ktorý ti odpúšťa všetky tvoje neprávosti, ktorý uzdravuje všetky tvoje nemoci,
4Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
4ktorý vyslobodzuje tvoj život od záhuby, ktorý ťa korunuje milosťou a zľutovaním,
5Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
5ktorý sýti tvoje ústa dobrým, takže sa obnovuje tvoja mladosť ako orol.
6The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
6Hospodin činí to, čo je spravedlivé, a súdy všetkým utláčaným.
7He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
7Dal znať Mojžišovi svoje cesty, synom Izraelovým svoje skutky.
8The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
8Ľútostivý a milosrdný je Hospodin, zhovievajúci a mnohej milosti.
9He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
9Nebude večne žehrať ani nebude na veky držať hnev.
10He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
10Nerobí nám podľa našich hriechov ani nám neodpláca podľa našich neprávostí.
11For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
11Lebo jako sú vysoko nebesia nad zemou, tak veľká je jeho milosť nad tými, ktorí sa ho boja.
12As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
12Ako je ďaleko východ od západu, tak ďaleko vzdialil od nás naše prestúpenia.
13Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
13Ako sa zľutováva otec nad svojimi deťmi, tak sa zľutováva Hospodin nad tými, ktorí sa ho boja;
14For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
14lebo on zná, jaké sme my tvory, pamätá na to, že sme prach.
15As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
15Človek je čo do svojich dní jako tráva; kvitne jako kvet na poli;
16For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
16lebo len čo prejde po ňom vietor, už aj ho niet, a jeho miesto ho viacej nepozná.
17But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;
17Ale milosť Hospodinova trvá od vekov až na veky nad tými, ktorí sa ho boja, a jeho spravedlivosť detným deťom,
18To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
18tým, ktorí ostríhajú jeho smluvu a ktorí pamätajú na jeho ustanovenia, aby ich činili.
19The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.
19Hospodin postavil svoj trón na nebesiach, a jeho kráľovstvo panuje nad všetkým.
20Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
20Dobrorečte Hospodinovi, jeho anjelia, silní hrdinovia, ktorí činíte jeho slovo, hotoví počuť hlas jeho slova.
21Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.
21Dobrorečte Hospodinovi, všetky jeho zástupy vojska, jeho svätoslužobníci, ktorí činíte jeho vôľu!
22Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.
22Dobrorečte Hospodinovi, všetky jeho skutky, na všetkých miestach jeho panstva! Dobroreč, moja duša, Hospodinovi!
