²Veľký je Hospodin a veľmi chválený v meste našeho Boha, na vrchu jeho svätosti.

³Krásnou výšinou, radosťou celej zeme je vrch Sion, polnočná strana, mesto veľkého Kráľa.

⁴Bôh na jeho palácoch, je známy jako vysoká veža pevná.

⁵Lebo hľa, kráľovia boli sa shromaždili a prejdúc boli spolu pritiahli.

⁶Ale ako uvideli, hneď užasli, predesili sa a plní strachu utekali.

⁷Strach ich tam pochytil, takže sa triasli, svíjali sa bolesťou jako žena, ktorá ide porodiť.

⁸As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. Selah.

⁸Východným vetrom rozrážaš lode z Taršíša.

⁹We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.

⁹Jako sme počuli, tak sme videli v meste Hospodina Zástupov, v meste svojeho Boha. Bôh ho postavil tak, aby stálo až na veky. Sélah.

¹⁰According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.

¹⁰Rozmýšľame, ó, Bože, o tvojej milosti vprostred tvojeho chrámu.

¹¹Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.

¹¹Jaké je tvoje meno, Bože taká je i tvoja chvála až do končín zeme. Tvoja pravica je plná spravedlivosti.

¹²Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.

¹²Nech sa raduje vrch Sion; nech plesajú dcéry Judska pre tvoje súdy!

¹³Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following.

¹³Obídite Sion a obstúpte ho dookola; počítajte jeho veže!

¹⁴For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.

¹⁴Dobre si všimnite jeho hradieb! Pochoďte jeho paláce, aby ste mohli rozprávať budúcemu pokoleniu.

¹⁵Lebo tento Bôh je naším Bohom na večné veky. On nás bude vodiť až do smrti.
