⁷Od tvojho žehrania, Bože Jakobov, tvrde usnul i voz i kôň.

⁸Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,

⁸Ty si strašný, ty, a kto by obstál pred tvojou tvárou, keď sa zapáli tvoj hnev?!

⁹Keď dávaš z neba čuť rozsudok, zem sa bojí a tíchne,

¹⁰Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.

¹⁰vtedy, keď povstáva Bôh, aby súdil, aby spasil všetkých pokorných zeme. Sélah.

¹¹Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.

¹¹Lebo i prudký hnev človeka ťa musí chváliť; a ostatok takých hnevom opášeš.

¹²He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.

¹²Sľubujte Hospodinovi, svojmu Bohu, sľuby a plňte ich, všetci, ktorí ste vôkol neho! Nech donášajú Prehroznému dary.

¹³On odníma ducha kniežatám; je strašný kráľom zeme.
