2Priklanjal se bom proti templju svetosti tvoje in slavil ime tvoje zavoljo milosti in resnice tvoje; kajti poveličal si čez vse ime svoje besedo svojo.

3V dan, ko sem vpil, si mi odgovoril: vdahnil si mi pogum, duša se mi je pokrepčala.
4All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
4Hvalili te bodo, GOSPOD, vsi kralji zemlje, ko bodo slišali govor tvojih ust,
5Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
5in opevali bodo poti GOSPODOVE, da je velika slava GOSPODOVA.
6Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
6Kajti vzvišen je GOSPOD, vendar gleda na nizkega, a prevzetnega spozna oddaleč.
7Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
7Ako hodim po sredi stiske, ohraniš me živega; zoper jezo sovražnikov mojih iztegneš roko svojo, in desnica tvoja me reši.GOSPOD dovrši vse za mene. GOSPOD, milost tvoja traja vekomaj, del rok svojih ne zapústi!
8The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
