⁵For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

⁵Saj ti si, Gospod, dobrotljiv in rad prizanašaš, in obilen si v milosti vsem, ki te kličejo.

⁶Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.

⁶Čuj molitev mojo, o GOSPOD, in poslušaj prošenj mojih glas.

⁷In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.

⁷V dan stiske svoje te kličem, ker me uslišiš.

⁸Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works.

⁸Ni ti enakega med bogovi, o Gospod, in del ni tvojim enakih.

⁹All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.

⁹Vsi narodi, kar si jih ustvaril, pridejo in klanjali se bodo pred teboj, o Gospod, in čast dado tvojemu imenu.

¹⁰For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone.

¹⁰Zakaj ti si velik in delaš čuda, ti sam si Bog.

¹¹Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.

¹¹Uči me, GOSPOD, pot svojo, in hodil bom v resnici tvoji; zberi srce moje, da se bo balo tvojega imena.

¹²I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.

¹²Slavil te bom, Gospod, Bog moj, iz vsega srca svojega, in poveličeval bom ime tvoje vekomaj.

¹³For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.

¹³Ker velika je milost tvoja do mene, in rešil si dušo mojo, da ni šla v najglobočji pekel.

¹⁴O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them.

¹⁴O Bog, prevzetniki so se vzdignili zoper mene in silovitnikov krdelo preži po življenju mojem, in tebe si niso predstavili pred oči.

¹⁵But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.

¹⁵Ti pa, Gospod, Bog mogočni, usmiljen si in milosten, počasen v jezo in obilen v milosti in resnici.

¹⁶O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid.

¹⁶Ozri se v me in stori mi milost; daj moč svojo hlapcu svojemu in reši dekle svoje sina.Stóri mi znamenje v dobro, da vidijo sovražilci moji in se s sramoto oblijo, ker si mi ti, GOSPOD, pomagal in me potolažil.

¹⁷Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because thou, LORD, hast holpen me, and comforted me.

¹⁷Stóri mi znamenje v dobro, da vidijo sovražilci moji in se s sramoto oblijo, ker si mi ti, GOSPOD, pomagal in me potolažil.
